Been hearing the pizza here is great. Finally gave it a try. Had the veggie lover. Got home drizzled a bit of extra virgin olive oil on it and MAN it was good. Especially at such an affordable price. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is cuz I believe there is always room for improvement :).
Great takeaway place to visit if you're craving comfort food. They make pizza like it's supposed to be, Italian style. It's cooked in front of you in a pizza oven and loaded with toppings. Freshly baked goods. Lekker coffee. Great service. The Pantry won't disappoint.

Definitely one of my favorite pizza places. Try the famous Deurmekaar, you wouldn't want any other chain pizza again. Freshly maid before your eyes and baked in a Italian wood burning oven. Just the best!

Absolutely love this place. Perfect sunday lunch after church. Their pizza's are top of the class and not even to speak of their amazing coffee's and iced coffee's. Also, if your looking for a homemade "vetkoek", the pantry is the only place that makes it like mom does.

Major sentimental childhood foodie fave! Don't let the exterior of this place scare you away because this place produces food of amazing quality for a little side shop! I have not been to this place in years and I return to find new renovations but same good quality food! Took the boyfie for a trip down memory lane from my side and I was more than impressed! Extremely laid back atmosphere and good prices. We went for old fashioned chip rolls - simply because this place happens to produce the freshest, sweetest rolls in Pretoria and the best slap chips. We bought cheese rolls which were big and fresh with real cheddar grated on top. The chips were amazing and I have never been more satisfied with such a simple snack. We also decided to order the small Meat Works pizza just to try it and we got a generous topping filled pizza with a thin crust and super flavorsome! Not to mention that the price of such a pizza is very affordable for what you are getting! Both the boyfie and I were highly satisfied! Will be going back to try the tempting Mammachinos! Girlfriend has been pestering me to go to The pantry and as always she was right... as you walk in the smell of freshly baked bread and the wood burning pizza oven get the taste buds excited... as we got there they were taking a fresh batch of knotted buns out of the oven needless to say my girlfriend was first in line to grab one.... We got a meat works pizza which pretty much is meat on meat on meat with some cheese surely one of the best pizzas I have ever had and super cheap as well ,this place is definitely good value for money... The atmosphere is amazing it's very relaxed and your surrounded by the most amazing smells... I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a really tasty lunch that's really affordable... ill be going back to try the rooibos mamachino #ZomatoCouple

This is my go to place when I want some freshly baked breads/ buns. Fresh buns on a daily basis, and I've seen people waiting there for the fresh croissants to come out. Card payments allowed only above R30 purchases.
I've been going to the pantry for over 20 years and it's still one of my favourites! Very friendly staff that treat you like family and the food is great! The portions are big but affordable. Best slap Chips money can buy!

The pizzas are the best... especially the Russian and chip pizza.
The pantry bread is an awesome suprette with an absa atm, a gadget shop, groceries and take away. There is a lovely pizza oven as well and the food is of great quality and pricing. Since finding this gem last year I frequent regularly. One can even whatsapp or call your order in before going to collect which is an added bonus! Thanks to the friendly staff and owner for always being so welcoming!

I like this place. Few sit down tables for meals. Offers take aways. The oiliest, vinegar'est, unhealthiest, nice'st, lekker'est, largest box of slapchips you can imagine. Proper pizza oven, interesting topping options. Small cafe and groceries stocked. Brings back warm memories of our favourite portuguese cafe on the street corner. I like to support them. I think they are a valuable contribution to the quality of life here in Faerie Glen. And those chips...! Sinful!

The pantry is an old favourite here in Faerie Glen and has been around for many years. They have a variety of things but are known for their delicious pizza (properly made in a pizza oven) and vetkoek and of course their fresh croissants that they bake in the mornings, get there first so that you do not miss out because they sell out in no time.
They make the best Pizza sandwich around!!!

The absolute best "crunchy" slup-chips! the big chips are regular slup-chips and the little ones have the perfect bit of crunch.
Also the Pantry has been well stocked for many of our times of need... icing sugar, rice, etc
The Pantry has been selling great food for a very long time. The hake and chips and their pizzas are always winners. Prices are very reasonable.
