We are locals and walked to Farmstead this morning for the first time in years. Had a lovely and good value for money breakfast. Very basic but enjoyable. Hot chicken livers with toast (although I received chips (that were great)) was the best I have eaten in years! Looking forward to visiting again soon, specially if they decide to sell wine by the glass again.
What a lovely gem hidden in the bushveld! I was there tonight and was greeted by friendly staff and even the owner was there and they immediately let you feel like family. The food was fresh, tasty and very affordable. Thank you for the amazing time and I only wish you well.

Its an awesome place to have a food, a drink and roaring laughter. It's a rustic hideout with loads of character and down to earth people.
The food is fabulous, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the music is not so loud that conversations are shouting matches! Keep doing what you're doing!
