Great place to take the family for Sunday lunch. Driving Rage quite busy on a Sunday. Atmosphere great, could add some soft background music. Mist spray very cooling on a hot day. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very relaxed Sunday afternoon. Manager very interactive and friendly. Food is fantastic, but you should definitely not be in a hurry to eat. Nice play area for the kids and those who wants to can benefit from the driving range

This was my late Dad's favorite spot. We go there to remember him. Great food. Great staff. We hired out golf sticks for our kids for less than R100. We loved it😊

What a pleasant surprise! The menu is very standard but the food tasted great, with big portions. It was very busy but our waiter, David, was a star. Not just for golfers.

The Colbyn Golf Park restaurant is definitely a hidden gem! I visited this restaurant with my wife for a quick bite and I was thoroughly impressed with both the food and the staff. Let me start with the food- absolutely delicious! The menu has a range of dishes to choose from. We went for the delicious breakfast and it was amazing. The portions were generous, and we all left feeling full and satisfied. Now, let's talk about the staff- they were so friendly and accommodating. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with big smiles and a warm welcome. The staff were attentive to our needs and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Overall, I would highly recommend The Colbyn Golf Park restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal with friendly service. It is definitely a place I will be returning to!

I highly highly recommend this restaurant. I kid you not the food,service,environment and just the place itself is AMAZING. Delicious food thats served at a reasonable price....and omg the buffet,no words to explain that. If you guys are looking forward to exploring restaurants with your family Colbyn is where you should be heading.

If you want to experience something slightly different then go to Colbyn's restaurant. Very spacious outside sitting area to enjoy the fresh air with the driving range in front.

It is a very relaxing atmosphere at the Restaurant. They also have "music" on Wednesdays evenings with very nice specials.

I am a member at the Driving Rang, so my wife and I have had many experiences with the restaurant. The setting is nice, especially in the evenings in summer. However, we have had many bad experiences with poor service, even walking out a few times because our drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive. The restaurant seems to monopolize on the driving range and location, giving no thought to service or quality of food. Pizzas are great, most of the time, provided you willing to wait. I’ve had a few experiences where we would order pizza, only to have someone come 30 minutes later saying the person who makes the pizzas decided to go home, so please order something else. To be honest, its an embarrassment, so much so that my wife and I refuse to take friends there. In matter of fact its become a joke amongst us and our friends. My membership at the Driving Range was partly based on the whole package and as I’m writing this, I’m trying to find out how to cancel my membership.<br/>To be fair, the service is not always terrible, sometimes they may surprise you, however you can count on it being bad and hope for the best. Managers are not particularly interested either.  I once asked for the manager, and was told that the manager was having lunch.  On the way out, there he was, eating his lunch at one of the tables, unfortunately we did not get lunch that day.

Ons was al paar keer daar as twee tot groepe van 8. Ons het nog elke keer goed voorbereide lekker kos gekry. Waarde vir geld eetplek met bestuurder wat elke keer vriendelik kom seker maak alles loop glad en ook kelners op hul tone hou vir baie aanvaarbare tot goeie diens. (Die netjiese funksionele uitleg maak dat dit nie die plek vir snobs is nie. Snobs kan elders gaan eet en drie keer soveel betaal vir selfde gehalte kos.)

Been wanting to try this place out for a long time. Eventually decided to give it a go. Walked in got seated by a very friendly waiter. Ambience was non existent as no music was playing. As for the decor, not much to be desired. My partner and I Ordered some drinks and decided to try out the Bobotie Savoury Pancake served with Greek salad. (Looks like it has changed to French salad) We the food arrived, the presentation of the dish was nothing to write home about. One large pancake slapped on a plate with a lettuce leaf, onion, cherry tomato quarter and 1 olive cut into 4 pieces. Please note that the 1 olive cut into 4 pieces was shared between the 2 plates. It was served with a bowl of honey mustard thick Paste. The pancake was slightly warm but the filling was ice cold. It was as if it was warmed up in the microwave. Hot and cold spots in the food. The filling tasted nothing like bobotie and was left highly disappointed. The pancake was nothing to be talked about either. It was as if everything came out of a can instead of being made fresh. Precooked pancakes and canned bobotie tasting meat. Left highly disappointed. As for the service, the waiter was attentive and friendly and really tried his best.

Ok.. So.. If you are looking for something on a budget this one is definitely it.. Situated within Colbyn Golf Park this restaurant’s menu provides relatively cheap and affordable food.. What’s weird and oddly funny is that the restaurants chairs, crockery and accessories all come from previous restaurants like Spur, Piatto etc.. It is a bit strange I know but hey.. the food was great and the wine list inexpensive! And that’s what we want on a budget meal..<br/> <br/>It’s got a certain type of ambience and you can watch people driving some balls across the fairway.. It’s a laid-back venue, nothing fancy.. I had the T-bone special that came in at R50 for a big piece of meat.. The Tall Horse Merlot came in at R98.00 which is a bargain..<br/> <br/>Service was a bit slow but the staff was friendly and helpful.. Will go try it again even if it’s for the T-bone again!Janthinus Schrage

A great Sunday afternoon here; The Men hit a few balls at the driving range and us ladies had a few beers. <br/><br/>The special was Half price pizza, so we all ordered pizza.<br/><br/>They were all amazing, I would definitely come here again for the Pizza. The atmosphere is very chilled and calm. Loved it.<br/><br/>The Service was a bit slow, and our waiter forgot about us a little, I had to go call him a few times. Could improve little here.

The service was brilliant and the food was divine. I was very impressed and had a brilliant evening. I recommend the rump steak as it was cooked till perfection.

Good value food, good service and all at a price that suits one pocket. Always made some good food choices when visiting here and this time no exception the pizza was good and so was the basket I had.

Julle kos is van uitstaende gehalte, maar die diens is rerig vrot.  Ons was 'n groep van 12 wat gister daar gaan eet het na werk.  ons het 20 minute gewag vir iets om te drink en 'n volle veertig minute vir ons kos ek het later gery sonder om te eet, en die rekening was 'n fiasco.  Die mense wat gebly het se order was ook deurmekaar!!!

We regularly attend this restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and on the odd occasion, lunch.  Prices are not bad and neither is the service.<br/><br/>For this review, we are attending with about 15-20 other people (booking was for 10) for a friend's birthday.  We were the first to arrive and asked the waiter if we could split the bills, as calculating who had what with such a large group takes longer than the actual meal, and can come up short.  He agreed, but said it might slow him down, which we accepted.  When the group grew larger than the booking, we though the service might degrade as there were more people than expected, but only one waiter.  I am glad to say that his service stayed on par the entire evening.<br/><br/>We ordered the schnitzel, which was excellent (would also recommend the pizzas and burgers).  Everything was well prepared and presented.<br/><br/>When it came time to pay, the waiter pointed out that although our bill was split, they added on 10% as is their rule for tables of 7 or more, which we appreciated and added on a bit more on top of that, as the service was deserving of an extra tip.

Food is so-so. Service is pretty bad. Went there for a Sunday lunch. Ordered a chicken schnitzel with cheese sauce and received a beef schnitzel with mushroom sauce? I then had a waiter fight me because this is what I ordered. Quality of food also went down after new management. Dissapointed and not really going back.

Good food but slow and often bad service. Still my local and I enjoy going down there. Great vibe and nice to sit outdoors. Baskets, pizza and simple foods are good but don't go too adventurous
