Review Mugg & Bean - Pretoria

My experience at Mugg & Bean Kolonnade Shopping centre was amazing. I took my friend there for breakfast birthday celebration. The aesthetics of the restaurant was quite pleasing. My friend and I were seated inside. The food was delicious 😋 I ordered a Mediterranean veg and my friend ordered a Bacon 🥓 and Egg sandwich. We were both satisfied with our food choice. With the Mediterranean Veg, you get to choose the type of bread the dish must be served with. I opted for the whole weet bread. The service was great, our waiter was well mannered and polite. She gave us a reasonable time to decide what we wanted to eat. She always kept our table clean and asked if we needed anything else. I would definitely recommend Mugg & Bean (Kolonnade)

We just wanted to enjoy a nice cup of coffee at the restaurant and sit and relax. Given gave us quick service and even helped us with the Wifi password. This helped us to still look at emails and also show each other things on social media, which we wanted to share as part of our conversation. We ate a few times before and would also recommend their breakfasts!

I always meet my customers at Mugg & Bean, knowing their service from other restaurants. But hey.. from my suprise, .my food was burnt, and no one bothered to check up on me while sitting. On my arrival, I was not shown a place to sit. I had to find it. I ate what was eatable ,paid, and left.

The food was good. As ordered. Cool drinks were pricey. The service was good. The first waitress was very pleasant. The follow-up waitress forgot part of the order.

Great restaurant with options to suit any palate. Always quality food and a really high standard of wait staff. The barista really knows his stuff

The food is nice and fresh. Most of it is small portions. A good place to go to if you are in a healthy diet

We just got a milkshake to help with the heat. But the atmosphere was really great! It was calming, as well as the music and lighting. Milkshake was on point and had the right consistency. I would suggest adding a bit of cream on top. For taste and appearance.

Mugg & Bean has an excellent menu for breakfast. The quality and service is wonderful, they were willing to make changes to the food to adapt to our needs. Service was fast. Would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast!

We came through from Centurion to have breakfast at this Mugg & Bean. Which growing up I worked at as a young lady. The service from Robson and the runner was really good. We ordered a Jalapeno&cheese sandwich with a veggie burger. For drinks we ordered mocca and red cappuccino. A breakfast for two was R300 with a 10% tip. So average R150 a person. Which is pretty decent considering the portions are large. The atmosphere here is relaxed and the smoking section is no longer. Mugg & Bean still has their deck in the walkway but sitting there, the atmosphere is much busier with shoppers passing by etc. There is a bathroom right across Mugg & Bean which is really convenient. Stores close by are game, Mr Price Home, Schwarma stand, book store and an Old Mutual walk in. My only add to the owners is we had a rule back in the day that if a client approached the entrance we would be there with a friendly smile and seat the client. On my trip some clients met no one at the door and decided to seat themselves.

Was my First time in this restaurant. Wow the food definitely brightened up my whole day

This Mugg & Bean is an institution at Kollonade Shopping Centre. The food, service and atmosphere are either a total hit or miss sometimes really great and other times not so much nevertheless if you a looking for a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a delicious coffee then Mugg & Bean ticks all the boxes.

Sat down for a break from shopping. Had a bottomless coffee and some apple pie. Service was friendly and professional. The brew was tasty, as was the apple pie. Best of all, they continued operation through load shedding. Had a fun time. Would recommend.

The cocktails were awesome, and I know it can be frowned upon to drink in the morning, but I expect judgment free service. But it was still nice and the food was good.

Definitely going back with my daughter. The cake was to die for. The staff were super friendly. 👌

The food was truly amazing. Did have to wait a while between ordering and the food arriving at the table, and for our waiter to clean off our table even after walking past our table 3 times. I wish they had better access for wheelchair bound clients as there was a bit of an embarrassing moment for the clients. Other than that I would go there again. Has a good vibe happening. And is clean and neat. Hi 5 to the milkshake and coffee makers.
