Sibongile hannah Moyo
Really good African dishes, well prepared. Hospitable hosts.
Tanya Molepo
Amazing place, especially on a weekday. They have an amazing playlist and food
Thabang Monnakgotla
Loved every moment. One must just get there early for parking. There's no space to park but for only ten cars.. so make sure you're dropped off or use an e-hailing decide
Kenya Khoza
They make the best samp nd beef stew. Definitely my favourite hangout spot in Sunnyside.

Was here with friends we took uber from the hotel to here, there is a small parking area they have neat and tidy restrooms with mirrors on the wall. By the entrance they are guards who searches every person before they enter into the place, its safe you can either sit inside or outdoors the view outside was not so nice so we sat indoors and listened to some nice music played by the In house dj while we were enjoying our drinks.I ordered rice with chakalaka and steak which tasted great but the presentation was not good at all.Great customer service

I went with colleagues to buy their food. The food was well prepared, delicious, right portions and the staff was absolutely friendly and very helpful. I'd recommend their food any day. Delicious!!
Itumeleng Gololo
A very nice place to chill and have lunch in the afternoon, or nice club at night. Either way it's a good spot to go hang with friends. The food and platters amazing.
Lesego Mogotsi
Place is great, service not so much. The food is phenomenal but causes diarrhea the next morning. I went on two separate occasions and experienced diarrhea the next morning on both occasions.
Bongani Dlamini
Good food, comedy nights on Thursdays.
Ezrom Mokhotla
The food is great, very delicious and they play good music. They need to renovate the place tho. It looks dirty and unkept.
Nkateko Masuluke
The place is great and the parking is secured yet I feel like there is not enough space to groove and get down inside even when there is VIP. The service is top notch though! ☺️

I was craving some African cuisine and a friend suggested that we go to Ayepyep. And i would like to say that i do not regret going there because i had the best traditional meal. I had the beed stew which was very moist and delicious. I would like to try all their dishes so I’m definitely gona go back .

I went in the afternoon during the week and it was not full at all. The service was good, the waitress kept checking up on us.

Visited their Menlyn branch today.
Loved the food and atmosphere (had lambstew)
Hated the service, waitresses obviously treat male patrons with more attention than their female counterparts had to change waitresses twice because the ladies just didnt attend to us.
Unfortunately wont be returning until I read some good reviews from females.

Went to ayepyep recently and i love love love their food. It's really fresh and tasty, the service was really not bad and our waitress constantly came to check on us even though it was busy. Definitely going back there especially for the food 😊

I've been here once if not twice on a night out & it is great fun. I tried their South African cuisine for the first time today & their food was mouthwatering, freshly cooked, very tasty and well presented (see pictures attached). You should come enjoy their delicious South African cuisine when you're around Pretoria.
Their waiters are very attentive and the overall service was good.
The area where the restaurant is situated may look a little dodgy, however there are car guards there too look after your car.

Not your normal dining experience. Ayepyep is more of a club, no smoking area so people just smoke wherever. However It is definitely the place to go to for traditional African cuisine. They have amazing samp and even better lamb stew. Also their Chisa Nyama steak is phenomenal, the spices and sauce on it made it the best chisa nyama I've had. It is advisable to get takeaways if you're not interested in clubs or the night life. Also advisable to take your own car because there's a Uber/ Taxify/ Meter Taxis feud going on there. The food is definitely worth it if you don't ant South African cuisine.
