Had an amazing evening with friends here tonight. We could play pool. R5 per play. We had a lot of requests but the waiter kept her cool and gave us Amazing service. The food was exquisite. And the Pricing on food and drinks are not bad. They even have a nice play area for the kiddies.

Went there for breakfast yesterday with two of my mates. We did breakfast breakfast twice a week and found the breakfast awesome. Friendly, efficient and quick service. Best value for money, especially with either a coffee, tea or fruit juice included in the breakfast cost. Even were the coffee excluded in the price the breakfast is still the best value in the Moot. The new hostess/manager/owner makes all the difference and with the renovations and special and cozy places to relax, recommend The Mulberry tree for a convivial and culinary experience of note.

The Mulberry Tree is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar. A house that was converted. Outside are trees and a swimming pool. The place looks shabby but is clean. Service and welcome friendly and sincere. They serve a good cup of tea, generous and hot in a pretty teacup & saucer.<br/>The food was not good at all. Frankly it was terrible. I ordered Steak, egg, pap & chips but caught a whiff of fish when the plate was set in front of me. Perhaps reused oil? The steak was also not fresh. Pap and salad was good but my appetite had gone.<br/>Servings are huge and prices real cheap<br/>

Ever since they went under new management, the places service has improved, specials are better than ever. Family friendly place during the day and evenings. Had my 21st here, food was great, service was great and they did all.they could to make it special. <br/>Would highly recommend it. <br/>

Ek dink julle het GEEN benul hoe om 'n eetplek te bestuur nie. Ek wag tot op hierdie minuut dat 'n kelnerin ons moet kom vra wat ons wil drink. Toe ek gaan navraag doen, word daar vir my gesê sy sal nou na ons tafel toe kom. Ons het klaar geeet en haar glad nie gesien nie. Die bestuur van hierdie plek moet die skuld kry. Indien jy jou as 'n moedersdag-ete wil uitgee, moet jy genoeg behoorlik opgeleide kelners huur. Dit was regtig net chaos. Jy kan nie mense sommer van die straat afkry wat geen benul het van wat hulle moet doen nie. Daar was baie tafels wat hierdie probleem gehad het. Julle kan beslis weet dan ek nooit weer daar sal eet nie of iemand aanbeveel nie.

Great for a home made breakfast. Fully Licensed venue. Restaurant from 8am till 4pm and then a function venue. Perfect price points for what you get. The service can be improved because the waitron didn't make solid suggestions. My suggestion is the 'Morning Glory'. For R25 you get 2 eggs, smokey bacon, fried tomato, pan fried potato, toast and tea or coffee. The juice selection is limited. Athena the Assistant Manager was great!
