The staff are super friendly and helpful and always advise best when it comes to the smoothies. The place is clean and neat and their service is fast. There is really a nice variety to choose from. I was there just after 9 on a Saturday and it was quiet, which was quite pleasant. The menu offers good options for me as a vegetarian and even vegans. You can sit down to eat, or order take aways. I tried their special winter flu buster juice, which was a tasty carrot and ginger mix. The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor is modern and earthy, simply designed. I found the place spotless and clean. Will go back for more, and would rate it as good value for money plus healthy fast food.

The service is rather subpar. Unfortunately the food is even worse. I ordered a tropical chicken wrap with a Thai peanut sauce and it was a major disappointment. I couldn't taste any of the peanut sauce, and the wrap itself had a very strange aftertaste, the lettuce was wilted and soggy too. The food really is not up to standard.<br/><br/>I don't think I'll be back.

Not only did it take forever to get this supposed chipotle steak salad which i have and enjoyed at other branches.. the menlyn one always fails to deliver!!!<br/><br/>

My rating is purely from a smoothie point of view until I sit down for something else. I ordered a lemon-aid which consisted of lemon juice,pineapple,ginger,mint,apple and honey. The flavours are not well balanced. All I could taste was the sour of the lemon,which is acceptable since it is a lemon smoothy after all,but the burn of the ginger, totally killed it for me.i struggled to finish my drink as my throat was on fire. I will be hesitant to come try this places smoothies again as the mango one wasn't good either.other than that,seating was alot and staff ok.

My brother and I are huge on Kauai's shakes. So we ordered 1 coco-mango and a mango-berry, extra thick. <br/><br/>To our disappointment, they both weren't as thick as they usually, and they tasted weak, like something was missing. We called the 'kitchen head'_ she took them and remade them herself! <br/><br/>My-oh-my! As thick as we like them, with the correct balance... AMAZING! 🙌🏾<br/><br/>According to my brother, so was their princess wrap_ I'm still big on the Burgerking 's big king XXL. <br/><br/>Anyway, yep, Kauai's shakes, THEY GET A YES FROM ME 😊❤️

Terrible! Really worried about whats going on in this kitchen. A few months ago I found a really hard piece of plastic in my wrap. I complained and the area manager gave me a comp voucher. Went a few times after that with varying degrees of success. The last time I found this gross piece of string at the end of my wrap! Disgusting!!! Shocking that I've found foreign objects in their wraps not once but TWICE! Will never eat there again

"Made naturally, served happily" 😕 not this one. Definitely not served happily. <br/><br/>This is definitely the worst Kauai I have been to. Wow. The service was shocking, as the cashiers chose not to help us. It was so awkward. They helped the people before (and after), and looked at each other in silence when we approached. With no-one budging to help. Eventually one of them spoke up, not making eye contact initially. It was such an uncomfortable exchange. I ordered the mango smoothie, and it had so much mint and so little mango. This is my smoothie of choice at all kauais and it was really disappointing. I also ordered a Thai crunch salad and that was delicious. However, even getting my food was an issue. I was being sent from the one person to the next, not sure who will bring my order out. <br/><br/>It's so simple. Acknowledge and greet the person, take the order, serve the order.

Such a neat and clean Kauai. The service is super quick, liked the way you can scan your voucher into the scanner at the till. We ordered a Lemon-Aid and Cinnabomb smoothie. The flavours exploded in our mouths after taking one sip. The smoothies were smooth and no pieces of ice. Will visit this Kauai menlyn any day again. <br/>

I consistently get bad service from this branch. One time I ordered a Kauai Chai for take away. I was all the way down the escalator when I had a sip and found that all it is is water and milk. I went back and the waitress told me "there's very little Kauai chai powder left". <br/><br/>Then recently, I redeemed my free smoothie with a wrap for 40. Cashier was so upset because I did not tell her upfront that I am redeeming my coupon- which I do not get reprimanded for at other branches.

Being healthy doesn't have to be boring, I usually have a smoothie but decided to try a raw juice today. "Heart beet" apple, cucumber, beetroot, lemon and mint. Great service from all the staff. Made naturally, served happily.

The food tastes great. But the service is pathetic. I waited a long time for my food. Actually had to go and ask for it after 20 min and they were not busy... The staff are not friendly and they also got my order wrong and then proceed to tell me that I am wrong and I never asked for a smoothie when I did (she even asked me what size I wanted ?)It seems like the person who helped me was not competent in English which I think is a shame. They also seemed to be understaffed and not properly trained. This made my experience horrible. I'm not a difficult person but I expect basic service and someone who can understand me when I place an order.

They are very hasty to help you before you even know what you want to order and other times there is no one to help you at all. The food here is not the best I have had and very often they have system failures so you can't collect your smoothie stickers...

Stopped by for a quick breakfast while shopping. Had the peanut butter bliss smoothie which was so lovely! I had the avo on rye toast with cucumber and poached eggs and my friend had the egg salad wrap. Both were delicious. The only annoying thing that was how difficult it was to eat the toast. The avo on top of cucumber kept sliding around and off the toast when I wanted to cut it. Service was friendly and super speedy.

One of my favourite healthy restaurants. Ypu can taste how fresh the food is, and there's a wide variety of DELICIOUS healthy food. Their daily greens green juice is fantastic and the service is efficient and friendly. My only complaint is that the music is sometimes played too loudly for a restaurant.

As a banter I was pleased to see that there are new LCHF additions to the menu. Their banting friendly Smoothie Iis quite refreshing. The food was on the pricy side but still good. R75 for a wrap plus an extra R9 for a healthy wrap is quite exorbitant. Otherwise everything else was in order. The service was fast and efficient. No complaints.

Always fast and really friendly service ! Their products and food are always really fresh. You get what you pay for :) . One of the many chain restaurants in the new food court in Menlyn Shopping Centre is Kauai.<br/><br/>You can expect to be greeted with "aloha" from all the staff members which is great as it fits with the tropical theme and vibe of the restaurant.<br/><br/>The restaurant is beautifully decorated with wooden pallets and white tables and chairs.

I love the new space I be always been a fan of Kauai and I have had most of the menu items I love the soups they have on winter their sandwich are amazing I mostly have wraps my 2 favorites being the breakfast wrap and the warm chicken wrap, the vegetables in that one are so well selected and they taste delicious the cheese also partners well I'm not certain if it's feta.

The first time I went to Kauai in the new food court it was amazing, I ordered a wrap I'm familiar with and have regularly! This wrap was a little bit larger than normal and was really made with love! The second time I went my wrap was half the size of the second one.. And the third time my wrap had some chicken and garnish slapped into it.. No dressing or croutons! It was bland and watery from the wet garnish! All I'm saying is chain stores should have a standard to keep up to and the food should be of the same standard whether I get it here or there. It shouldn't matter whether they're a new outlet or not!<br/>

This is my favorite Kauai branch in Gauteng. I'm a major fan of their "The Gem" smoothie and their food has always maintained a good standard. Extremely vegetarian friendly as well as fitness fanatic friendly.
