We usually stop by here for pizza and beers after classes. Service is a bit a slow but the waiters/waitresses are friendly and warm. The food is good. Romans pizza is my favourite. I love the base (thin) with all that ooey gooey cheese and they're not stingy with the toppings either which is great. When I want pizza this is the place for me. My favourites are the BBQ chicken and mushroom, it's got a sh*tload of chicken and mushroom on it, not just 5 pieces of whatever scattered between 8 slices of pizzaπ the fetaroni has a nice kick to it if you're looking for something a little spicy.ππ½ππ½
Best romans I've been to before. It isn't your average romans. It reminds me of Cesar times and suncity. Great place for cheap nice cocktails and a nice pizza if you're on a tight budget. Not your average romans. I love going here for drinks with friends and the service is superb!
Today was the first time I tried their fish bowl, whoever is at the bar is not stingy. The pizza is good and they're very generous with the topping as compared to other outlets. Didn't hurt so that the food came out really fast.
This place is amazing for chilled dining and drinking alone and with friends. The perfect vibe to go sit with friend and have a drink. They have a good liquor menu so that makes it great as well
At first I wasn't too eager to have a dine-in lunch and cocktails at Roman's, but my friend dragged me along... It turned out to be quite an enjoyable experience! Firstly, it doesn't look like a take-away joint & there were many people dining in. Secondly, the prices are great and thirdly, the salad is amaaaaazing! Really worth a try if you're in the area and on a budget.
Good pizzas and salads. Fast service and underground parking is great, keeping you out of the busy road. Good value for money and always a nice pizza for the movie on the couch ;)
This is one of the places I feel truly reflects the Hatfield area, Hatfield is a student mecca known mostly for the university and the square (which has unfortunately closed down most of its clubs now). Roman is located on one of the busiest streets in Hatfield, its got drink specials great for a student budget and the pizzas I assume we are all familiar with. I recently had the feta chicken with sweet chilli? It was really delicious

Even though Romans Pizza is a fast food place, this particular one has great service and is very clean! The staff are relatively friendly, sadly you get the odd few that ruin the good reputation but other than that I would say everything here is pretty much sound! Pizzas are very good quality, if looking at fast food criteria, and are quite a good value for money. Defies a good quick cheat meal and the biiiig boxes are perfect to cater for a social gathering of some kind
The Pizza is amazing, the sweet and sour chicken is the best I have had in Pretoria. Romans surely is taking the cup in the pizza range. The set up of the restaurant is a chilled and goes well with the food.
Best pizza ever and really suitable for a students' pocket. Had Romans multiple times and can really recommend the sweet chilli chicken pizza!
They serve the best pizza in town for me.The service there is great as well as the vibe. The food pizza tastes good especially the sweet sour pizza.Good place to hang out with the boys.
Much bigger and more spacious than any Roman's Pizza I've ever been to. It accommodates for table sitting just as well as takeouts. Swing by and see.
FANTASTIC service in terms of calling to arrange orders for delivery (50 small). All pizzas were still warm when they were received and all people were friendly.
But delivery was 40 minutes late, despite calling the day before to confirm drop-off point and time
The avocado was mine(not from romanceππ),but the pizza was amazing definitely enjoyed it.
The restaurant is spacious, has a nice outside area and very cozy inside area. The inside could do with better lighting as it's a bit dark. The restaurant is clean, the staff members are friendly and helpful and their food is just perfect. The downside is the toilets , they need maintenance and regular cleaning

They have great service. The seating is optimal. There's a wide variety of specials from drinks to food. A really good place to go on a budget. R100 gets you a decent meal, wine and cocktails plus tip

Very beautiful interior, not your average Romans. You walk in and u can feel the Greek vibe. Service is quick and staff are competent. I would recommend phoning in your order then it is done by the time you arrive. Now that's service π
Pretty central & accessible. You've got to walk there from parking across Burnett Street or drive down into underground parking on the side where Roman's Pizza is in reaching it.
The pizza menu is decent! ππππ― The pizza is tasty & high quality overall. There are a 4 or 5 main segments from which the menu consists.... "Grumbling", "Rumbling", "Famished" & a couple more words like that. Options therein. There are options apart from these on the menu too, e.g. wraps & subs to order also. Ice creams & drinks (fizzy). π¦π¨πΆ
Don't gorge yourself on it but for sure enjoy some pizza & drinks in a group or with friends & family! Specials available for time periods & on certain days of week also!

I have just visit RPH to see if Ous Julia is still working there. To my surprise she is still. Ous Julia being so loyal to RPH is really impressive. She is still the most adorable, friendly, professional and loving Manager. I was a trainee at RPH when I was working for a certain Romans. Where I was sooooooooo disappointed and regret every single second I have waste my time working for that Romans. It was the most horrible place I have ever worked at. But visiting RPH again have made me realize how much I miss Romans. But NOOOOOOOOTTTTT working for that Romans or Owner. I want to start my own Romans Now and show that Romans where I have worked at what Romans really is and how to managed it... But REALLY REALLLLLY RPH SHOULD GIVE OUS JULIA A RAISE IN HER SALARY SHE DESERVE IT.
Been coming here since I was a student . Great atmosphere great service . Esmeralda, Alex and the rest of the crew there will take good care of you. However when they are specials the usually run out of the thick base for the pizzas

Very good service from the employees working there, along with a spacious interior makes it an excellent place to grab a pizza.
Had a minor issue that was resolved by the staff in a matter of minutes in a respectful manner, very pleased overall.
Service isn't too bad for a busy pizza joint. Food is great and they have good specials often enough. Won't park outside on the street is you're eating inside because of the beggars. Park across the street at Hatfield plaza.
The food is great value for money, one of my favourite pizza selections. The waitering service is a bit slow, so you are better off calling and collecting instead of eating there. Wish they had a delivery service (would pay for it).
Decent service, good food, clean toilets and secure parking . Only downside is that it's quite cold to dine-in during winter & take-aways take long to so it's always better to call and place your order then arrive just to pick up and pay
Nice place full of vibey students. They also have a restaurant treatment, not only for takeaway like other Roman's. You shouldn't be looking for quietness when going to this shop. Staff are friendly.
