On the weekends, the place was completely packed since many people came for a hike, so food might be served a bit slower. The selection of food was pretty good, and there was plenty of space for seating areas. You can sit inside the restaurant or just chill on bean bags or outdoor seating.

Remains a wonderful spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The views and greenery set a natural tranquil scene among the hustle and bustle of the week/weekend.
Coffee is always excellent!
Food is usually very good. Their Bennie is not what it used to be though, albeit still tasty, the mayo - hollandaise is overbearing.
Highly recommend the toasties, quesadillas, pizza and breakfast for 2.

Beautiful restaurant, at entrance we stood for a while with mo assistance but were finally seated. Lovely space, the food was delicious and their mimosas were delicious. The food is fresh and they serve breakfast all day. The even have a section on the menu for dogs.

Avenue is beautifully decorated, very cosy with a fireplace, blankets for guests and heaters. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Service was a bit slow but waiter very friendly and overall a great evening out.

Comfortable and cosy restaurant with a modern vibe and tranquil atmosphere. I enjoyed a healthy breakfast with delicious latte. They have a good breakfast menu and you can bring your dog along for a reasonable priced doggy treat as well. I nice place to get together with friends and family.

We had a great time. The waiter was a bit slow with my sister's cocktail and her fillet was prepared wrong the first time. They did fix this though. I'm definitely going back! Good wine menu too! (Please can they ensure that all toilets flush)

It's such a cute spot surrounded by scenic views. Their breakfast options are good and I was very impressed by their service. I'd suggest starting off with a hike at the reserve then finishing up with a breakfast at PLTFRM or lunch. Definitely coming back soonest!

Mmm, so wanted to like it, service is great, view, setting and decor are wow! But the food was only ok, the prawn, chorizo pizza was very good, the tapas were not great, salt & pepper calamari had no salt or pepper in the batter and were just little pieces of fried calamari, the caprese salad was 90% tomatoes, 3 tiny balls of mozzarella, no basil. And the truffle and Parmesan chips were oily and i didn't even get a hint of truffle. So yes a lovely social place to chill etc. But food wise only ok.
June2022: Had a braaibroetjie, very nice! The next good meal gets them a 4th star.
March2023: Best braai broodjie I've had, Back to Bacon is its name. Brilliant!
July 2023: Had a great pizza, light and crispy base with fresh ingredients, tasted great! Was awesome lounging around in the bean bag area, really nice was to just chill.

Very nicely situated and beautifully decorated.
The menu has a wide variety as well as the drinks menu.
We sat outside on the veranda, it was lovely with the misters cooling you down.
The servers and management was very friendly, perhaps a little slow but they where busy.
Food was nicely prepared and tasty.
I highly recommend the truffle fries and the Asian Pork Springrolls.
Try their Whiskey sour cocktail.
They even cater for doggos, I just don't know how well K9 diners get on with each other....

I came here during December on my company's end year function. We all shared starter platters and dessert platters and it's quite delicious. My main meal is a sirloin steak which I ordered medium rare. However, the steak came as well done. Overall, a great place to eat, have some drinks and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Very nice restaurant with good food. The atmosphere was great and the service fast and friendly. Large play area for the kids and it looked like the outside seating part of the restaurant was also dog friendly. Other than a small hiccup with the bill, (stuff added that we didn't order) which was sorted out quickly there was really not much to complain about ! Definitely give this place a try on your next day out. Well wort the visit !!

A definite place to visit. Beautiful, great atmosphere, friendly and professional staff (thank you George), food was fantastic. Added bonus that the beautiful surroundings had 2 great playground for the kiddies to enjoy. They had a lot of fun.
