I love Jalwa, they offer some of the best Indian Take-Away around. Good Clean Fun and tasty, and the service is good as well. Even some of the Ford Factory's Executives, as well as Webuycars Pty Ltd's people have been observed to frequent Jalwa! Wonderful Indian Food.

I went there today 2018/03/07. worst chicken bunny chow. the chicken taste like it was boiled and mixed with a stew of some kind. I'm so disappointed.

Terrible service, had to take my order twice after half an hour!!! Then didn't have anything in stock. Don't bother with this place. They should rather close their doors.

I waited a hour for my take aways and the service is really poor all round. No front of house staff and when there is, the staff could hardly speak English

Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala  with a Butter Naan from here on 2016-09-06. It was honestly the worst Indian food i have ever had! Especially since I am Indian i know a thing or two about Indian food.<br/><br/>First of all i phoned and ordered to collect. The woman taking my order sounded so uninterested in taking my order I felt like telling her to rather cancel the order.<br/><br/>Secondly the Butter Naan was pretty much just dough, probably only went into the Tandoori oven for a minute at the most. It was raw. I could literally pick up the Naan and with minimal effort squeeze it into a ball.<br/><br/>Thirdly the Chicken Tikka Masala was not actually Tikka Masala. Not sure what spices were used but it was very bland and very boring to eat. The chicken was so overcooked it was shocking! It was rubbery and horrible to eat.<br/><br/>This was a complete waste of money, time and energy.<br/><br/>Do yourself a favour and rather eat from somewhere else. The only reason I rated it one star is due to the fact that I can't rate it 0!

Previously I did a review on the curry restaurant, Taal. Taal was always my favourite curry place and it saddens me to see that they are closed now. Hopefully they do open somewhere else and that I find them.<br/><br/>Now desperate for some amazing curry...I came to zomato and typed in the search bar. I came across Jalwa. The reviews were great and I thought I would give them a chance.<br/><br/>I am so glad that I decided to try them out. I never thought I would say this, but they surpass Taal.<br/><br/>We ordered the chicken korma, hot, and the chicken tikka masala, medium, masala chips, garlic naan amd the pakoda.<br/><br/>Everything was really delicious. The spicing was perfect, the naan was one of the best I have had and the pakoda was THE best that I have ever had.<br/><br/>Nothing was greasy or over cooked. You could really feel the love in the food. My apologies for having no photos of the currys, they were that good!<br/><br/>I would have rated them higher but I was just slightly annoyed that they forgot to give us our cool drinks in our bag with the food.<br/><br/>I can't wait to go back again!

Ordered a lamb Korma, Butter chicken and butter naan take away. Upon arrival at home and eating there was a lot of gravy on only a few pieces of meat. The lamb was very tough and also did not taste very good.. the rice was very hard and also the butter chicken was not good and did not taste like butter chicken. The butter naan was the only nice thing that we ordered. Will rather go to our regular indian restaurant than order from Jalwa again.

were here a few times and food was very delicious. not once could I've finished my portion and the atmosphere is great there. I will recommend this for anyone who loves curry

Some of the best Indian food I've ever had! Sometimes the spice level changes on the Medium, which can make things a bit hot... but always delicious! Large servings at good prices. They do take aways and have a sit down restuarant with a great sounding Buffet lunch on Sundays.

Was my 1st time and I was not disappointed. I ordered a chicken tikka for myself and a friend and was not disappointed. Staff is friendly and food is great.

Been there three times, once as a sit down, twice to take home. Could not finish the portions. Quality first class. (and I am from Durban and know a little about Indian cuisine) Service faultless. If it was not so far from my home i would be there 3 times every month. Looking forward to working my way through the menu. This could take years if they keep this up. :):)

Very good curry which you will wait only ten minutes for when ordering take away! Delicious Chicken Madras and bryani. Keep up the good work!
