I'm cape townian, and this is my first time tasting Seattle in PTA, my fudge freeze grande just tasted different. It was too sweet and had an aftertaste. My friend got a classic butterscrotch freeze, and the coffee tasted bitter just with ice. The place is cute, quite calm and friendly service.

Staff is very friendly and the Butterscotch steamer and hot chocolate were excellent. Just a little bit of attention to detail lacking . Three staff members in sight and the tables are dirty . Music too low and doesn't contribute much to the ambience.

Seattle Coffee is always the best. The service was good and the set up is comfortable. There should be a better way to track orders. Maybe take down names or put up a screen of coming orders. Especially now during these trying times, so people don't bundle around the collection area.

This is my favorite Franchised Coffee Spot.
They have a large Coffee Menu with all varieties of espresso based drinks alongside an equally large Decaf option list.
They have free wifi (Limited Data Points daily).
They also have well trained staff who are professional, efficient and usually very Nice. (Please tip them?)
Seattle's Atmosphere is unmatched and brings a small Coffee shop feel to a Large Corporate Franchise.
P.S They seem sandwiche if that is your kind of vibe.

Seattle Coffee Co. is situated in Menlyn Shopping Mall inside the Exclusive Books shop. They are a sure bet when the caffeine craving hits. So, if your are a book worm or fanatic this is the best place to make yourself comfortable. They know their coffee and you will not be disappointed. They also offer light meals, bites and treats for the hungry. They are a convenient pitstop mid shopping.

Although slightly more sterile then brooklyn and a bit isolated from the nighbouring bookstore, the service is just as friendly. I had belgian chocolate croissant which was light and fluffy with a dense, yummy chocolate center. To drink i had frozen coffee, which was wierd for me. The taste and temparature are rather incongruent, yet at the same time enjoyable. I recommend you order it with a spoon because its impossible to drink with a straw.

Seattle is an institution in Menlyn for many years already. <br/><br/>They have been revamped recently and after this they are not linked to Exclusive Books anymore. This is a real pity as the entire vibe of the coffee shop has changed. <br/><br/>They are still one of the few places where one can get soya cappuccino.... at no extra charge..... yay!!<br/><br/>Do give them a try 😄😄

I have always been a great fan of Seattle Coffee Co. and I am so happy that the Menlyn outlet got a well deserved makeover! It looks stunning. I am always glad when I hit my tenth coffee and get a free drink of my choice. The staff is extremely friendly, the space is clean and open and very hip. The coffee is GOOD and the cheesecake... well, it is absolutely divine!

I must admit that i love a Seattle coffee in general. We always stop by this one on our retail adventures. <br/><br/>Im disappointed that the new revamp has blocked off the Exclusive Books as this helped the relaxation and vibe of the store. What a pity. <br/><br/>The new look is industrial, definitely modern, but not entirely true to the brand. The cakes are so low you can step on them and the biscuits and impulse moved to behind the cashier. This makes no sense. <br/><br/>The furniture is very uncomfortable and not conducive to relaxation. <br/><br/>My cappuccino was disappointingly too hot with burnt milk.

Firstly I would like to say that they have the most amazing butterscotch latte ever! But that's not what I had today. My friend recommended the Coconut Freeze! 🙀🙀🙀🙀 OMG it is amazing! It is on the overly sweet side of life but it was super creamy and great coconut flavor.

" A yawn is a silent scream for coffee"<br/><br/>This morning just had to silence my screams with a delightful cup of cafe latte at this establishment. I have now found that the trick to enjoying menlyn is being there before 11. I enjoyed a warm cup accompanied with a scrumptious muffin while reading through some emails its a great place to just sit catch up on life with a warm beverage by ur side. Love the atmosphere I was unfortunately feeling a bit pakish and couldnt try their sandwiches but I'll be sure to pop I they looked absolutely scrummy.

The coffee is good, but the Chocolate mousse cake is extraordinary! Best I've ever had! Certainly worth a visit while on a shopping spree in Menlyn.

To nibble on I had the oats and raisin biscuit made with real butter. They offer gluten free as well. I went to have a cup of java at Seattle coffee company whilst waiting for wifey doing some shopping. I ordered a short cappuccino, what I got was insinuating and quite hot without any art. The place was quite dirty with slips all over the floor.

I've never been to Menlyn without stopping at Seattle. Love the Latte's and the Iced Mocha Freeze. Pity they changed the brownies recipe, also the sandwiches are dense and dry. Always for a coffee never for a meal.
