This place is absolutely beautiful and the staff so friendly! It's a little coffee roastery and they make their own cakes too! We ordered and iced hazelnut latte and a cappuccino. One of the best cappuccinos I have ever had! We also tried their milktart which was divine!

A nice, quiet little coffee shop that roasts their own coffee beans and it's pretty good coffee. Cups are a decent size so you actually get a good fill of coffee and it doesn't feel like you just started enjoying and then it's finished. On to the cake. Yum! I had what they call a Picasso cake. Beautiful mousse-like texture with some toffee/caramel oozing from it and topped with condensed milk 'frosting'. Delectable!
The smells coming from this place are amazing. We went coffee shopping and they offer a wide variety of blends from different countries. Our waiter was very helpful and let us have a good smell at all the different beans. Just had a quick coffee to taste the beans we ended up buying. Was very happy with our choice. Their baked selection looks good. And the menu also offer some nice stuff. Will be back for a proper treat on another occasion.
I really enjoyed my quick shopping break at farmstead. There is ample space to defrost in the sun and good staff. I had the crustless quiche and it was a winner! The different coffee aromas will make you instantly relax, even if you don't drink coffee you will enjoy the food!
This little coffee shop is hidden away in the Irene Village Mall, its Quaint and Cozy and has that farm kitchen feel to it, full of little knickknacks and lots and lots of coffee to buy! The Coffee aroma catches you as you walk it, its wonderful! They sell their own blends of coffee as well. The food is great, the burgers are big and juicy, they have a great variety to pick from, the open sandwiches are just as good, also nice and juicy and flavorful! The service was great, the food was slow to arrive, but the taste made up for the wait!
The welcoming aroma of freshly grounded coffees as well as the presentation of the chosen toasted burger with spiral potato was awesome. The waitress was a added bonus in that she was really friendly, not because of anything but because of her demeanor, lovely young lady.
I got lured to this quaint cafe because of their wide selection of coffees. On arrival, I ordered a cappuccino made from Colombian coffee beans. It was divine. If the weather was cooler, I would have had a second cup. To accompany my drink, I had the Mini Village Breakfast. The eggs weren't fluffy but they were edible. I liked the fact that they have rye bread as an option for toast.
I would recommend this cafe for coffee lovers.

What a lovely place to sit and relax while enjoying a meal with friends of family. Fresh air and good food always wins. Some items are a bit pricey but dare I say worth it. Mainly they make an incredible chocolate milkshake and everything is fresh!
One of my favourite cafe's in Pretoria. Cakes are all amazing. Big selection of coffees from around the world. Smell of coffee beans as they brew and grind them in the shop. A must go!
Really good coffee and great treats. A pleasant surprise tucked away in Irene Village Mall. There is nothing like the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans whilst browsing around in this mall.
A nice little coffee shop tucked away in a corner of the Irene Village Mall. They have a wide selection of unique home roasted coffees and have recently also introduced a range of coffee related products and accessories for sale in the store. The menu is fairly limited but offers good fare for breakfasts and lunches. It has recently come under new management and we should expect further updates to the menu and coffee selection. The cakes and tarts are all home made in the store and always fresh. Definitely a regular haunt for our daily coffee fix.

Bought and had coffee here a while ago. The coffee is great, I love the wide selection and the set up of the store. I would maybe even consider it to be a bit of a hidden gem. Coffee lovers should definitely give the place a try sometime. Will go again when I am back in the area.
The shop has been redone, more seating place now. Dropped all the none value adding paraphernalia.
Love the fresh coffee roast smell as it waifs through the Mall. Good coffee and their breakfast special is a bargain.

My partner and I really enjoyed our brunch at this small and friendly cafe: plenty of variety which included good vegetarian options and excellent coffee. Food well prepared and served. Hands on management together with attentive but unobtrusive staff made for a memorable experience. We shall certainly come back.

Quaint and cute little cafe. Friendly service from our waiter. The scone was huge and freshly baked and came with butter and jam. Farmstead cafe has a nice and friendly atmosphere perfect for a lunch out with a friend.
Salads are exceptional - embodying a wonderful taste combination. Some of the drinks are however subpar. They also offer great treats to satisfy that sweet tooth.
The coffee is nice and old school, ground on one of those big cast iron grinders. Cakes are delicious. Very nice rest stop.
For someone who is interested in coffee and coffee brewing, Farmstead café offers a range of equipment and coffee beans. They also sell Nespresso pods and compatible brands. Great little café, and a must visit for anyone who loves coffee.
