Fortune dragon has some decent Sushi platters and the portions are stacked to the top! They always stay open and give every last mile in customer service. There is soy sauce on tap and always gives an appropriate amount when ordering take away!
Pricing is fantastic, food quality is fantastic and the option to buy a Chinese beer? Fantastic!

The best value for money! I cannot find 2nd Chinese can offer Duck Chow Faan (Fried Rice) and Duck Chop Suey like below, for just over R60. And look at the size. Not only that, the speed of service and taste are way over the expectations!!

Absolute best sushi place in Gauteng!!!! Always an incredible value for money and they are not skimpy on salmon or that delicious mayonaise. Everything always tastes fresh. We eat from here at least twice a month.

Quantity and Quality!!! Meals are so reasonably priced and you definitely get value for money. The crispy chicken was tasty but slightly on the chewy side. However I look forward to trying other dishes.

Is there any signage on this shop? I was passing by thinking of getting a cup of coffee while I wait for an appointment nerby but I stumbled into this place. The service is... Confused, half way through my order some lady chimed in and I had to repeat my order to her, the wait is a little bit tedious like the was one other person in the restaurant so I didn't get that. The food was a bit disastrous, ordered a chow mein that was packed in a polystyrene pack but not sealed with cling wrap as most Chinese take out places do and my the time I got home the food had completely spilled out and covered the recipes and straws which was unappetizing for me.

This is the only place I will eat sushi or other Chinese food from! I am a bit paranoid when it comes to sushi and I have never had a bad experience here. The food is delicious, generous portions for decent prices! I crave their food when I am not in PTA. Friendly and super helpful staff! I love this little restaurant!

We read some reviews and we're hoping for the glorious sushi written about but alas, it wasn't spectacular. The rice had an extremely starchy and thick quality to it, making each piece slightly tasteless because the filling vanished. The yang chow faan was the other choice. Oddly enough the rice was not fried at all and the dish contained only 2 prawns. The flavor was lacking apart from the bbq pork. What was great, however, was the deep fried wontons! Nice and big with good flavorful filling and super crispy! We probably won't go back and wouldn't recommend it.

Fortune Dragon in Groenkloof is imacculate, spotless and more spacious inside than expected. The owner, Michelle, is vivacious and friendly. She was named Michelle because her English teacher couldn't master her Chinese name!<br/>We had Sushi, Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken and Pork (fried in batter).<br/>The Sushi was splendid and awesome value for money. I liked the thickish batter of the chicken & pork but put it in the air fryer for another 20 odd minutes to be thoroughly cooked. "Paranoid!"<br/>Their rice was my favourite - the right concistency and chewiness, fresh and flavourful. Take that from a lover of rice!<br/>While waiting for my order, I had a cup of fragrant Jasmine tea. <br/>Allthough geared towards take away food, this place would be comfortable for informal inhouse dining.
