Value for money. But I would make it a real experience to add to the atmosphere. Food very good, variety available even if you do not eat sushi. Duck amazing. Sushi fresh and amazing.

The prices are great and they have a nice special, the waiter wasn’t very attentive but our food was amazing they also use fresh wasabi which is a plus. I had the deep fried sushi’s and it was wonderful. The chefs prepare everything at the buffet area which is educational. My only complaint is the service which isn’t great. Oh and the deep fried fashion sandwiches are my new favourite !

Best affordable sushi in Pretoria. I love the little wooden booths you can sit in. It's really cozy. The fish is always really good quality and fresh. The manager (Professor ) is really helpful and professional. This is my favorite casual sushi spot. Highly recommended. :)

The food was great. Really enjoyed the salmon roses as it melted in our mouths. The service from our main waitress was not good at all. The chefs were very friendly, at least.

In the afternoon went to the one in Serene and just this evening decided to drop with the one in Atterbury absolutely stunning l love their sushi best in Pretoria and the environment so welcoming thanks to the team definitely will come over and over again.... Oooh not to forget their unique Chinese sizzling in a hot pan the best...will bring more and more friends and family 🍲🍲👌👌

We discovered a little gem! They have a great special on sushi with the sushi buffet 🍣 😋. R185 per person. It is worth it and more. They are even open on a Sunday. The service was friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back there and try their other meals.

Had a waitress that took very long to come to our table and take orders. About half way in another waiter took over and saved the day. The sushi buffet was amazing. Will definitely come back and recommend to others.

I have been looking for a new sushi spot for a while now that has a buffet and a good size menu and they have delivered on both fronts. I have been their almost one a month and ordered lunch and not once was the food subpar or rushed. They have a tempura item on a few options for the sushi and it is a must have.

Quaint atmosphere with cosy booths should you sit down to eat. I ,however, got a takeaway salmon sashimi salad which was fresh and satisfying. The service was prompt and I will be back to try some of the platters and the loads of specials they have on offer.

Lovely place and the service is quick. They have got specials on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Wide variety of platters. Salmon house and roses tasted excellent. Would love to go again.

Everything is fresh and you can tell that it's made with love and precision.<br/><br/>Their sushi special in certain days of getting the same item for just an extra R5 is the best!<br/><br/>Their bbq pork steamed buns are some of the best that I have tasted and their custard buns (according to my partner) are really delicious too.<br/><br/>* I recently went to Sasaki and ordered sushi and crispy chicken as a take away, with extra cashew nuts. When I got home, there were no cashew nuts and the one piece of chicken that i tasted was rock hard and so so tough. <br/><br/>I took the food back the next day, untouched, because I wanted to just ask them if I could order something else and I was highly annoyed that I paid for the nuts and did not receive them. <br/><br/>The lady at the counter started shouting at me and saying why did I bring the food back, what must she do with it, I should have phoned them to tell them that something is wrong with the food. Now the food is going in the dustbin.<br/><br/>I explained that I live far from their shop and how dare she shout at me when they are the ones that forgot to add something I paid for. She refused to give me my money back and wanted me to keep the food and she would just give me some nuts in a bag to take home. She said that the chicken is supposed to taste like that.<br/><br/>Never have I been so shocked by the terrible customer service. She was shouting across the restaurant in Chinese to the other employees, who knows what she was saying. She then said ok, I can choose something else to eat. So chose something else and they handed it to me, and I left. Not after giving her mouthful of how disrespectful she was. <br/><br/>I gave the food to a homeless person. <br/><br/>I will never, never go back to Sasaki. <br/><br/>

Being fond of sushi for lunch on Saturdays, today we had take away sushi from Sasaki Sushi in Faerie Glen. They have Chinese food available too. Fair quality and delicious. Service friendly. Had Chinese Beer while waiting. Took home also a bag of White Rabbit Sweets 😀

Wow... how nice to find another sushi-restaurant!! The previous one we always visited moved further away from our home. Sasaki Sushi service was exelent! Thank you to our waitress Vanessa who made sure that we knew about their specials before we ordered from their menu! We ordered a platter and what a surprise ... especially their Sesaki Rainbow roll with salmon strawberry and avocado, this was amazing!! For dessert we had deep fried ice cream and bowties. You guys will see us soon and regularly!! Good service, great ambience and a clean restaurant!! Go and visit ....you will be pleasantly surprised!!

Looking for Chinese on a Tuesday evening, we found Sasaki Sushi with the assistance of Zomato. <br/><br/>They have quite a comprehensive menu of Chinese dishes as well as sushi. They are very accommodating and prepared to alter their dishes to patrons dietary requirements. <br/><br/>We had some of the best vegetable spring rolls at Sasaki. The quality of their food was really higher than the average Chinese restaurant in Pretoria. The food was tasty and they had Chinese beer in stock. <br/><br/>The service was good and personal attention from the manager was appreciated. <br/><br/>Will definitely support them again. Can't wait to try their sushi.

My rating is based on the sushi I had during my lunch break today.i was lucky to be there on there Thursday special of get 30% off. I previously wrote a very bad review for this establishment. However, I decided to give them a try again a few months later, and were very pleased to see new ownership (again). The delicious sushi and service was back, and it came with even more delicious options. Haven't had any issues since, and are enjoying their specials on a regular basis again. Well done to the new owner for changing things around. <br/><br/>This was the review I posted exactly a year ago:<br/><br/>I came across this sushi restaurant next to Madison's in Aug 2015. I fell in love with their sushi immediately, and supported them atleast once a week. I once tried their Sweet and Sour Prawn with Rice but it tasted horrible so I just stuck to the sushi. The service was always friendly and fast (Tina always assisted me) and the restaurant was in good condition. The sushi was delicious, fresh, good portions and reasonably priced. <br/>Recently I came there and there were new owners all of a sudden. They cluttered up the whole restaurant and removed all the downlights causing it to be very dark in there. The service is slow and all over the place.<br/>The most disappointing of all is the sushi. They have reduced the size by so much. Where I used to get a full prawn, only half a prawn is now used. They use less rice, less filling and less sauce. <br/>It doesn't taste fresh and delicious anymore either. I have tried it 3 times since the new owners took over and I can honestly say it got worse every time. I won't be returning again. It's sad to see that such a little gem have been destroyed by new ownership.

Sushi, sushi, sushi... Look past the plastic flowers and miss-matched glasses... And have the sushi. Waiting staff are nice enough and did I say anything about the sushi? They have a wicked special on Wednesdays and Sundays, where everything is doubled up if you add R5-00 to the price of a plate. Salmon tofu pouches and strawberry and cream cheese California rolls are my favorite. They literally have the most consistent high quality sushi ever. Have been there many times. Will go back many times.

A quaint restaurant situated just off Atterbury. The presentation is quite unique where sushi is served on beautiful painted wooden boats. The service could be improved. Take away or eat in this is definitely the best sushi in Pretoria.

Affordable and delicious food. Average service. I have tried almost everything on this menu. The beef ,chicken curry and stir fry are good, spring rolls are average (the sweet and sour sauce tastes weird), deep fried ice-cream not much to write home about. The winner at this restaurant is the sushi, fresh and delicious, plus the Wednesday and Sunday specials make it more appealing.

A very affordable special available on a Wednesday (Buy one plate pay r5 and get another of the same plate). The sushi is nice but in my opinion Yamazaki sushi is better but not drastically. Service is slow, not enough waiters or staff. Furthermore R2 charged for a glass of water which did not impress me.
