The motto has it right: screw the diet! Delicious food that will leave you feeling guilty...in a good way. The Kotas are very filling and you must certainly try the shakes!
What an incredible experience to share with your kids, in the new modern-day Roadhouse style. Brilliant menu for this concept and very well priced. Take a Kota with your favorite fillings and chips to complete the Roadhouse experience. Their milkshakes are some of the best I've ever had and the friendly service is the cherry on the house.
The food is great, fresh bread and tasty flavors. The drinks are also just as good. The service is not too bad, but I wish they wouldn't serve the food in paper bags for a sit in. But overall it's awesome.
Lots of variety on the menu and great tasting food. Service is okay. It's a nive place to get a fast food fix or lunch with the family. It wouldn't hurt for them to add alcohol to the menu but other than that they have a very chilled setting and vibe
Firstly I think it's unfair for me to comment on ambiance. We were there on a quiet Sunday morning. But the decor is lovely and I'm sure that when the tables are full there's an awesome vibe.
The service was a tad slow however when the food came it was well worth the wait. I also have to add that we were seated however there is an option to drive through roadhouse style.
I had the Prego Kota and I would recommend it to anyone. It was so tasty and the portion was huge!
My brother really enjoyed his Rib Kota and my partner had a bacon and egg toasted sandwich which was apparently perfect.
And to top off the awesomeness the bill came with Chappies!
I like the set up. The food is a bit average. Not sure is they should refer to it as a Kota because it's a bit far from it, the only similar thing are the fries. I had a shwama kota and I enjoyed it although it was not seasoned. The atmosphere is nice for a day out if you want to sit there and also perfect for a quick bite. We didn't wait for long for our food.
This must be the coolest roadhouse I've ever been to. Like most, you have the option to dine in your car or sit in. The area is a great chill spot and is also fun for kids.
The milkshakes are incredible! I will go back just to try more flavours - I had the Ferrero Roche.
The kotas aren't authentic kotas but their version still tastes good. The chicken strips was really delicious.

Awesome milkshake worth the drive!! Chicken Mayo Kota and Chicken Strip Kota was nice, service seems like the sun was getting waiters a little depressed!

Once you arrive, you are invited to a roadhouse look and feel, waiters ready to take your order. Their menu in a takeaway form with giant images to look at, pumping music for entertainment and funny videos on the big screen for great laughs.
We decided to sit on their table selections and wait for our food as take away. You can sit in your car while waiting, you can have your lunch plated or pick up and go.
This is seriously greasy food, but its sooooo good. Their peanut butter and Oreo shake is to die for, loved the taste of Oreo cookies and peanut butter chunks inside. We ordered their Russian super style roll and a Beef Shawarma with tzatziki sauce.
I loved their sauce selection, it’s not much but their burger mayo and chips seasoning are so tasty and complement the meals well.
If you have kids, this is a must. Such an electrifying vibe and décor to amaze. Will definitely visit again soon
It appears cosy but it doesn’t have a nice seating structure. The nice view doesn’t have enough shades. It’s more convenient for drive in service as you will be in the comfort of your car.
I have always heard of Kota Joe, so I decided to check them out. Best service ever, I ordered Jozi kota it wasn't as best as I expected it to be compared to the Kotas that I know, but it was a great one, it was made with love, the place is super clean and so are the stuff members, parking available or you can even order to eat in your car.
Tried this place for the first time yesterday. I love the vibe.
The food is really something else, flavor profiles and attention to details. I had the chillie cheese and bacon burger which blew me away. The red chillie gave it the heat I never knew it needed. I cooled that down with their pinacolada crusher which really hit the spot.
Overall a great experience, I would highly recommend this for date night.
Great food! Service was fantastic! The music was really not great. We had wonderful milkshakes! Prices are a bit high for what you get but overall a great experience and time!
Pros: the portion size is good and filling.
You don't have to wait long for the food, and it food is always on point.
Cons: I had to wait long before the waiter could take my order. I had to ask for someone to help me, that's not how it should be.

Pretty cool spot. Went to get some ice cream, weirdly enough. Also got a Jozi Kota, which is nice. My only issue is that it only had one sauce in it and made it a bit dry and the atchaar had mango pits in it, that is a kota eaters worst nightmare.
Fresh ingredients just needed more sauces in the kota.
It was our second time here and the service is still as amazing as the first time. Food was too good, the only problem was hard to chew steak. Awesome desserts and friendly waiters, can’t wait to come again.

They stand out and a must with a delicious flavored milkshake to top that off with! If you want, and need a cheat meal I would suggest going to them!
