Review Cappucino's Cafe Pizzeria - Pretoria

We were so surprised to see how they renovated the playplace as well as the seating and perimeter. I am very impressed! I used to be very relaxed about my children's safety here, and now it's even safer! And much more elegant and beautiful 🤩

This place has improved than my last visit. This time around I enjoyed being here.. Food was great and the vibe was good. Room for improvement is available and big up to the staff.

It was undeniably great our food was delicious and plated amazingly it was calm. Our waiter Rute (as she asked to be called) was great she was a funny caring waitress. The outlook was so nice birds close to your table it was really nice

Me and the wife took a shopping break and decided too do coffee and cake. Waiter were friendly and made some time to chat with us. The place were clean and the food was good quality and tasty.

Still one of my top choices for a Sunday brunch, kids can play and we can have a great meal with the family sitting comfortably indoor or outdoor. Service has always been good here and the food as well, prices are fair and portions are reasonable. Great varied menu as well something for everyone 😋

Haven't had this good food in a while. I felt stuffed like a pig, because I couldn't stop eating so good the food was. Service was great, they listened to what you wanted. Cocktails were excellent and I will definatley be back for more. We had the chicken kidneys and chicken strips for starters. Next time I won't be sharing, I will get my own and a second cocktail. Try the Blue Lagoon cocktail you won't be dissapointed.

Loved the customer service, everything is prompt! Great quality food. Enjoyed the visit, definitely would recommend it. Also awesome that there's pap on the menu which is the item of interest today!

A lovely atmospheric area we sat in complimented by the great food served. Friendly waiter who, even under pressure, did his best to give us the best service. However, the waiting time could be lessened. We waited way too long for the food. Great place though! Highly recommended.

Very lovely place. I eat here often because I find the food to be very good and keep going back for more. The atmosphere is sometimes hectic since they have an open kitchen and you hear all the noise. The decor is also very beautiful. I'm quite neutral about the staff, they're not friendly neither are they rude.

We had an amazing time. The food is so delicious. Good price for the amount and quality of food you get.

Good central location for us to meet coming from the Centurion, Pretoria East and the North. Nice open play area for the kids. Prices a little more than similar commercial restaurants but food is good and portions are generous.

Food was delicious, service not so much. We were a party of 7. Six of us received food and the host had to wait for his food. We enquired 3 times and waited 20 minutes for his food. Only excuse was that the kitchen was very busy.

Great kid friendly restaurant, great staff, super affordable priced menu and super packed month end but staff manages the crowd well. It was lovely experience

Very very slow service. <br/>Food cold on arrival and not made as requested. <br/>Steak was not medium rare as requested but well done.
Tshiamo Tsabone
I ordered medium steak, I got super well done steak. Quite disappointing though.<br/><br/>The wait for the meal order is totally unacceptable. I literally waited 45 minutes for my food to arrive, and yes, my food was cold. 😔

I don't like the normal or loaded milkshakes. They have no ice cream in it and it tastes artificial. Tasted a similar milkshake at Boabab across from Cappuccinos.

I love this establishments outside deck sitting area, I love their service and their food. I hate their margaritas, or should I say I don’t like the way they make them. I had to send it back twice. Other than that, this place is lovely 😊

I always enjoy a good meal at Cappuccinos.<br/><br/>Wonderboom Junction franchise is definitely one of the best. Great views. Great service.<br/><br/><br/>The food range from good to great and the people are always friendly. A must visit!

There's something refreshing about walking into a restaurant and being with a warm smile and soul soothing music playing in the background. This happened today as I walked in Cappuccinos at Wonderboom. I couldn't have wished for anything better on a Friday afternoon. <br/><br/>Their Spaghetti Pollo Piccante is amazing. The chilli gives it an extra flavour that makes you just want to continue eating. My friend ordered Spaghetti Al Paella- of which she says it's soo delicious. I guess I'll try it some other time. <br/><br/>The waiters were very friendly. <br/><br/>So if you are around Wonderboom be sure to stop there . I'll be doing it soon. 💫

Excellent and quick service from Peace and his colleagues. The view is to die for. Had calamari and prawns and the food was so delicious. Keep it up.

The service was excellent. The waiter was punctual without been annoying. Not many people due to the really cold weather. The food came super fast and everybody enjoyed their choice. Manager mis heard my table request when I made the booking, but they didn't have any problems changing our table. And the Tuesday special on grill and chicken is excellent value for money.

We came here for a Sunday afternoon lunch and the ambience was just beautiful. We sat outside by the balcony, which has a lovely view of the mountain. <br/>The pizza we had tasted really good - we made a half and half of Balsamic beef and the Cappacino special.<br/>Our waiters were on point and made sure we were happy.

I must admit, I am a Cappuccinos fan.  I rarely step into one of the outlets and feel that my expectations wasn't met.  Cappuccinos in Wonderboom is based in the Wonderboom Junction Mall and is on the edge of the Apies River.  The restaurant is situated on the edge of the greenbelt and gives you a sense that you are not in the city but rather on the outskirts.  The service at Cappuccinos is great and I enjoy the Mediterranean feel and decor.  I enjoyed their omelette with rye and was in breakfast-heaven.  Menus are always reasonably priced and gives you a good variety as it caters for everyone's taste.  This is naturally the perfect spot for sundowners and enjoying a decluttered time with friends or family.  Go! Now!

I don't come here often, because it's quite far from where I live. But the few times I've been here, the service was good and the food was great

Went in for the Monday special today and it was not the best. Our waiter came briefly put down our menus and left, came back took our orders and it took really long for them to bring out the order. We ordered the Marinara pizza and the Penne supremo. Both were below average. Our waiter made no effort to check up on us or our food. The parmesan cheese that was put on the table looked like the left over from another table. I asked for the bill and when it eventually came the waiter disappeared again before i could tell him we were going to use the zapper app. After the long wait for his return i ended up using zapper and leaving. He came behind us and said we didn't pay when i told him i used zapper he said i should of told him in turn i said we waited for him and he just walked away angrily. Really disappointed with Cappucinos. The service was poor.

Wow what a pleasant experience! <br/>The food was from the top shelf, we had no bad comments. Your waiting staff are all professional and great at what they do, and do it with a smile. <br/>The biggest surprise was the assistant staff with the children! We had a 1 year old in the play area, and the staff were fully interacting with the children, and pay close attention to the children's whereabouts and what they were up to! They are fantastic! <br/><br/>Will definitely be returning! Keep it up!

Where do U go with kids? Cappucinos Wonderboom is one of few places with a huge play area, indoor & outdoor. Kids are safe & great supervision. Food is really good and service. Bit pricy (kids menu). But one of our fav places to go to regardless.

Capuccino's in Wonderboom Junction is a jewel in the crown of this franchise. Immaculate, warm and cosy. Service by Francois, a student working during the school holidays was fine. Food came quickly and was super tasty - a Mozarella cheese, jalapeno and spring onion quasedillo with tomato relish and sour cream. Naughty & nice!<br/>I also had a strawberry smoothy - smooth and icy cold.<br/>Renovations are in progress at the Junction but the parking is free at the moment. <br/>The outside section has a view over a strip of treeland. Lovely.

I must say I've always received excellent service here. The pasta and pizza are always brilliant and the way to go is simply for the veg pizza here. In the winter it's quite cozy to sit inside on the couches while having the evening dinner. The vibe is brilliant. I remember going on several dates to this place and was never disappointed. A waiter always opens the door upon arrival and departure and that, to me, is brilliant in terms of good gesture!

Outside on the terrace seemed to be a good option but became a little bit noisy from the play area, perhaps ot should be closed off further. The waiter was attentative and service was smooth. The pizza was good and tasty, the base nice and thin as well as crispy. The Gorgonova pizza was a bit oily and the blue cheese melted into oblivion...maybe a relook at that one. The Dom Pedros great and overall a fantastic evening.

Cappuccinos is very nice family restautant with a large play area for the kiddies 😄. <br/><br/>The food is quite good for the type of venue. The service could have been better. The waiter did not pay attention to who ordered what. In my opinion a cover charge for tables of 10 people and more leads to bad service as the tip is "guaranteed" no matter what the service level is. <br/><br/>Nevertheless, it is well worth a visit for families with small children.

Went to Cappuccinos for a late Sunday lunch, i had the sweet chilli chicken stromboli - it was nice, saucy and tasteful. Would have liked the cheese to be more melted inside though. Service was great with a very polite waiter helping us.

So, I do realize that starting a family realy does change everything, including being able to eat at fine restaurants 2 or 3 times a week. This does not mean that we do not miss it incredibly. We lay at home every night reminiscing about our culinary adventures before our little one arrived. <br/><br/>Unfortunately we are not fortunate enough to have a live in nanny and lets be honest, you really want to spen each and every waking moment with your little bundle of joy. This unfortunately means that she has to tag along from time to time if we need to escape the confines of our home from time to time. And let me just put this out there. There just simply aren't any fine dining family friendly restaurants out there because if you are willing to pay the premium price for food at these establishments, you would like to enjoy the meal without the shouting and crying of little ones in the background. I know I, even being a father myself, would expect a little peace and quiet. <br/><br/>That being said, if you want to get out with your little one in-tow, you are limited to a choice of a certain chain stakehouse where everything on the menu tastes exactly the same or a certain American fast food chain restaurant where the quality of food is just as ridiculous as the clown that serves as it's mascot, and every self respecting foodie would steer clear of these establishments. <br/><br/>Luckily there is a third option and that is Cappuccinos. A family friendly (and judgement free) restaurant where you are always greeted with a smile and there is always space for you. And the best part is that for the price of your meal, the quality is actually very decent. The food will never blow you away but you will never be disappointed. And the quality will remain constant week after week which means that as far as family friendly restaurants go, Cappuccinos stands out far above the rest. <br/><br/>Now, that being said, it needs to be said that the service was far beneath standard this week. It was quite shocking. We were seated immediately and we order our drinks and meals immediately as well. Our food arrived before our drinks arrived. I had to ask another waiter for our drinks because ours was a no-show after bringing the food. Our toast was ice cold and the fries were luke warm. The rest was nice and hot. Halfway through our meal I wanted to order a still water and I had to ask yet another waiter for this because both our previous waiters were never seen again. After I had asked for our bill, I waited for a full 10 minutes before having to ask a waiter again. The host then immediately sprung into action and helped us to settle the account. <br/><br/>So, in conclusion Cappuccinos, you are 2/3 away from being a very good family option. But you do not want to be the restaurant of choice because of a lack of a better option but rather the restaurant of choice because of good food, good value for money and good service.

Great restaurant with a nice view. Easy access to the restaurant with lots of parking. Lots of tables and we didn't have to wait. Slow but friendly service and the food is good value for money. They can definitely improve their speed of service.

O.M.G. the breakfast was oily but sort of ok. The mushrooms tasted like flour but worst of all we all had food poisoning afterwards. What happened? This used to be one of my favourite restaurants! I will not be going there again any time soon. People! Please use fresh ingredients!

Had breakfast with my dad the other day here, I was a bit pakish the breakfast felt like a really large portion for me. It's a very family friendly restaurant which I love and we sat close enough to the terrace to feel a good breeze, the service was okay and count you think of it I have been here once or twice before and the service was always good. I will say I did not love how huge the breakfast portion.

Situated i front of the Appies river. The food is good and some might think I am really crazy about burgers (and I do love them), the best dish I had so far is their burgers. It was a surprise for me so I had to mention. They are averaged priced and service is also a average type of good. Everything is good and I don't see any faults, but theres nothing really to make me sway to exceptional.

Great vibes, music and food! Not forgetting the excellent service we were given. Me and my mother enjoyed our night there and we're definitely going back.

Definitely the 'go-to' restaurant in the North side. Waiters need some extra training and needs to be a bit 'available' but the entertainment on Sunday nights and the 'mood' in the evenings is definitely enjoyable.

So for fathers day me and my dad went for treat, we both had such n busy day with all the other families and had so much to eat that we decided to meet up for a quick coffee. Upon arriving, we were welcomed by a very friendly hostess who helped us find a seat, even though didn't have a reservation (bare in mind, it was fathers day so it was very busy) The waiter was so friendly and in a blink of an eye we had our cappucinos. The sweet tooth then kicked in and we had the strawberry cheese cake, shared it of course, I'm watching my figure ;) <br/><br/>On average we go there about 3 times a month and I'm never dissapointed, a definite must when you like variety! <br/>P.S: The picture is my dad eating our cheesecake :)

Nice playpen for the young ones, service is average but the food is good.
