On Saturday night we discovered this little gem of a place. The food was amazing, great value for money and honestly the best Chinese Food I have ever had. The staff is friendly and efficient and the authentic feel of the resto just added to a great vibe. If you're in the mood for Chinese, Jasmine Palace is a definite must.

Our server was the lively, friendly, knowledgeable Evelyn. She made us feel most welcome. Her meal suggestions were also perfect. I have been a patron of Jasmine Palace for many years - and have yet to be disappointed in the food. Importantly, the prices of the wines are not exorbitant - Capetonians, please take note. The establishment is slightly tucked away and one needs (I think) a gps to find it; yet, it is worthwhile. I do recommend visiting Jasmine Palace in Constantia Park, Pretoria.

The best fine dine Chinese restuarant in Pretoria by far. Traditional Hong Kong Chinese food at its very best. Will recommend it to any one trying to experience the full chinese cuisine experience. Friendly staff that are always willing to assist.

Unassuming little restaurant on the corner of the street, but the food and service were excellent. We made the mistake of ordering the set menu for all four of us! Needless to say, we took a lot of food home. Next time we will order 1 menu and share it between two or three people. The portions are very generous and it is, as the intention of Chinese food, not too expensive food shared by a family or friends. Their bow ties were even on the generous side!

Rustic charm, authentic Chinese food with a wide-ranging menu, a bit on the expensive side. We really enjoyed the experience.

This is my favorite take out for Chines. You can also dine in. A small little hidden Gem for me. As I don't like to many people around me. Don't expect to many people.

Great food! Best Chinese cuisine in Pretoria by far! Each meal tastes different as opposed to so many Chinese restaurants where everything tastes the same.

We really enjoy eating at Jasmine Palace - it is one of the authentic Chinese restaurants here in Pretoria. I think they recently went under a new management. The food is still tasty but I just hope they don’t start changing their recipes to taste more like Kung Fu Kitchen 🙈 we prefer the authentic Chinese taste!!

We went there for Dim Sum (Fr, Sat, Sun) and were the only non-Chinese customers. From the Dim Sum menu we followed the recommendations of a Chinese friend (No 2, 5, 14, 19, 26) and saw similar selections on other tables. Despite all the shortcomings you might encounter, I feel the place deserves to be checked out.

Food was served piping hot and tasted great. Some of the best Chinese I've ever had. Waiter was attentive and friendly. Will definitely visit again

This is a lovely little place in the middle of the suburbs. The service is friendly and fast. The food is great! Very flavorful. We ordered sweet and sour prawns and kung pao chicken. The prawns were very fresh, although a little greasy. The chicken was authentic in it's heat and flavour. The portions are large and generous. All around, a very quaint lovely Chinese place.

Jasmine Palace is a very quaint little restaurant serving some seriously good Chinese cuisine. The set menus served there are very well priced and offer a variety of delicious food, albeit a bit predictable. However, it truly is a steal considering the mountains of food it includes.

The decor is interesting yet subtle and the restaurant is well-kept. The menu has some very interesting items on it that will be worth another visit! It is an ideal place to visit in a larger group of people as the portions are ideal for sharing and the large round tables make for a lovely ambience. Definitely not just a run-of-the-mill Chinese takeout joint.

Service is fast and you are welcomed with a smile.

The food is great and the quality and quantity is 100% for what you pay for.

Will definitely come back here and highly recommend people to this restaurant.

Great service, good food. Waiters efficient and friendly. Chicken and sweet corn soup excellent. Sweet and sour pork ok, not brilliant. Well worth a return visit.

Excellent food!!
but the food took quite a while
Service was average, not too great.
but the decor is beautiful
lovely experience!
i would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a less westernized Chinese Restaurant, and more of a traditional one

Absolutely amazing food. We were lucky enough to be treated to a "family style" feast with some delicious options that aren't on the menu; all exquisitely cooked with amazing flavours. The service was great and we had a fantastic evening. Great little find! The restaurant looks nice inside and is well-kept. Worth trying something unusual at a great quality place like this!

According to Zomato they should be open right now, but when I phoned they said their kitchen was closed. I told them what my issue was, but they didn't seem to care.

Food was excellent. Traditional Chinese. Sweetcorn and chicken soup was devine. We had menu 1 to sample various dishes. Oyster beef was good so was the chicken cashew stir fry.

Not a bad place but also not convincing enough to warrant another visit. Service was okay, food okay, sushi okay. Overall okay. Been there once to see what it is all about but will probably not visit it again.

Jasmine Palace is a nice venue in the East.

The service was quite slow, but the food made up for that. One of the few restaurants with a Chinese chef. He actually came out to greet us.

They are also frequented by the Chinese community. Also an indication of the quality of the cuisine.

Unfortunately they do not stock Chinese beer (Tsingtao), but have a wide selection of good wines and local beer.

Live abalone, crayfish and oysters greet you at the door. The menu is very in line with most Chinese restaurants, no "dirty Chinese" i.e. The weird and wonderful to be found, but I suspect if you have a chat to the chef she will be happy to surprise you with something less westernized. All in all a nice surprise to find a good restaurant in Pretoria.
