I had the most delicious burger ever!!! I took the special nr 3 and a surprise me shake. The meal was so delicious I cannot wait to visit them again! The buns can be plain, orange or black, and I love the creativity of it. Not only was the food superb, the waitress was amazing. She laughed with our alias names, and just made the whole experience so much more fun.
This is a definite win! Take your family and go have some fun!!

Myself and a friend popped into RocoMamas a little while ago. My friend was running a little late so I went ahead and got us a table. I was warmly greeted by Shennah, who proceeded to show me to our table. We ordered 2 specials, consisting of a chicken burger, wings and a waffle.
The seasoning on the food was immaculate. The service was sensational. Even after it got busy, Shennnah made sure that we were comfortable and our food reached us in a timely manner.
I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the kitchen staff, Shennah and management for a great dining experience.

I really love RocoMamas food and I always go to it no matter if I'm in Joburg,Midrand or Sandton,
But this time at Menlyn rocos I enjoyed it even more ,the atmosphere is really warm and everyone is so kind ,also service was good ,service from the girl shennah was incredible she is very kind and she smiles all the time and gives people a good energy ,and I could order anything from rocos and it would be good ,so really love my Mamas at menlyn

A nice setting in Menlyn's Piazza overlooking a beautiful fountain, kids play area and an events arena. Great quality of food and friendly service, however on weekends it does get busy and food may take slightly longer but still worth a wait. Would strongly recommend.

The spareribs is soft and juicy and we love the shoestring fries. Was a bit disappointed that we had to sit facing straight into the kitchen but was so glad we did because we ordered a waffle and was watching the lady making the waffle. She had no gloves on and was using her hands to put the waffle on the plate and then proceed to cut off the overspill bits and giving them to the waiting waitress to eat. She then push her hairnet up and scratched her head before proceeding to put syrup and ice cream on the waffle. By then I called the waitress and told her to please cancell our order. The manager was very apologetic and I am sure we will go back for the ribs but we totally lost our taste for their waffles. What a pity!

Service was “ok”, however, the salsa accompanying my 6year olds nachos was extremely spicy. Even I who eats ALOT of chilli would agree that it was too spicy! Manager Adriaan claimed that he would not be able to provide a less spicy version as they were made in batches! So one would pay for salsa that cannot be eaten! I have never heard such nonsense before!

I went to the new menlyn restaurant recently with absolute delight. It’s closer to home and that means my burger cravings will be satisfied much quicker. <br/><br/>I wasn’t disappointed with this branch of Rocomamas. The food is on par with the Irene and Hazeldean restaurants and the staff were just as friendly! <br/><br/>I absolutely love this franchise - it’s my go-to burger joint and I devour every meal I have there with no shame whatsoever!
