I just love the people here ! People with heart! What an amazing place! They have the best baked goods. Tops. Many compliments from friends and family. Thanks for always helping out so quickly.

Great option for breakfast. You have the option to create your breakfast with various add-ons, including different kind of bread. Also the possibility to buy baguettes or e.g Ciabatta bun (recommendable) is great. Service, food and price are excellent and fair. Looking forward for the next time!

A unique café and bakery where you can eat freshly made food. Lovely coffee as well. Service is slow when it's busy, but there is a lovely atmosphere, tho.

Lovely and cosy atmosphere. Inside and outside seating. Great coffee and amazing Chai tea. The cakes and freshly baked pastry items is worthwhile. The setting is romantic and chic with the rustic and modern chair and table combination. Friendly staff. Serving with passion and energy.

Fantastic coffee, the service was just fab and the little birdies eating breadcrumbs of the floor too cute. Xxx

Liked the coffee and pulled pork eggs Benedict.

Early morning stop for takeaway chinos. The shop is filled with aromas of freshly baked breads, pasteries and eats.

These guys are exceptionally great at coffee and breakfast meals.. they will give you the productive meeting over coffee.. from breakfast buns to daily fresh cakes.. Indeed it's an experience and treat you wouldn't want to miss. They are early birds as well so it got you covered with those let's meet at 7am meetings.. don't stress.. just vovotelo them n you got the deal sealed. They also do Uber eats, I saw couple of guys doing pick up. You can chill in ur blanket and just order

Amazing atmosphere, with great coffee. I can see why people go there. I saw other people having bad service, but I didn't experience the same. The wifi wasn't working though, so struggled to work.

Great place for lekker coffee and work.

We ordered the most delicious pizza bases on short notice. Great service and quality!

Great breakfast early in morning

Great place to have breakfast and also has outside seating. Italian and other breads are made on the premises with fresh salads. Great meeting people place with wonderful coffee and confectionary. Also small vegetarian dishes.

Vovo Telo is my go to café for a quick coffee or a relaxed atmosphere to have a catch up session with someone. I tried out the Lynnwood outlet for the first time and the quality in service and food is obviously chain-wide because they did not disappoint. While the chocolate cheesecake we had was well made, it really wasn’t for me or the company I had. Our drinks were great however and Vovo Telo will always have my stamp of approval.

Had breakfast here on Sunday morning. It was quite but service was a little slow.
French toast with bacon, caramelized banana and syrup- it was really delicious and filling. Will definitely have it again.

Stopped by for breakfast, purely based on other reviews. Was a mistake. Service was slow and the food was mediocre, at best. The best thing was the carrot, apple and ginger fresh squeeze. As for the waffle with bacon and egg; don’t bother. The waffle is too thick, dry and tasteless. How does anyone mess up something as easy as fried bacon and scrambled egg?

a great family run business, with great attention to detail, keeping the vovo telo standard up if not making it better then expected compared to other stores.

I always have a wonderful experience at vovo telo's and the Lynnwood branch is no different. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The coffee is great and the food is tasty.

I had a vovo frittata for breakfast, it was full of flavour and colour. Delicious 👌

Decided to pop in for brunch over the weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed their cheese and olive sticks. The flat white was delicious too. Their fritata was a favourite among my friends and they said it was delicious. Definitely going back for cakes next time.

Really great and friendly staff. Service is efficient and food is fresh and tasty. Been there on 2 occasions and the quality is consistent. Will definitely return.

Great vibe. We always get takeaway cappuccino and croissants there. Friendly and helpful staff. Big variety of pastries to choose from. Can't wait to try some of their other favourites!

We haven’t been to Vovo for a very long time and decided to try it again today for lunch and to grab a slice of our most fave choc cake.
Lunch was good, but we are now sat eating our takeaway choc cake and we are so disappointed.
The price has gone up insanely (which we commented to the waiter and he said new management), slice is smaller and I don’t know what that icing is but it tastes like margarine. We didn’t even finish it. We used to buy this as a whole cake for special occasions.
I wish new owners wouldn’t fiddle with good recipes.
Won’t be going back for that ever again. #greasymouthyuck

What's not to love about the freshly baked breads, the decadent bakes and the simple, rustic decor. I love the concept and I love that fresh, wholesome and generous meals can always be expected here.
Jenine Botma
A nice breakfast spot. I felt a bit like the seating was out on the sidewalk and all the shoppers walking by we're staring at me eating. That was uncomfortable. But the food was alright and the service was acceptable

Great service this past week. The cafe is under a new owner who along with her team are quite attentive. Coffee at VovoTelo is always excellent. Great choice on the location.

I am always on the lookout for a good croissant as it is one of my favourite pastry treats. Vovo Telo blew me away with the buttery perfectness of their croissants. They also have a really interesting menu with lovely flavour combinations. I will have to go back a few times to experience more of their delicious dishes.

Literally the fastest service I've ever experienced, and at peak lunch time hour too!
Pulled pork sammich on Banting bread was super yum and full of flavour, although the pork wasn't too pull-apart-y so that was a biiiiit of a let down. But ️otherwise their new menu is just flavour packed and all round full of goodness! Definitely keen to experiment a bit more with their options.
Carla
Pathetic service. Almost 20mins to get a cup of coffee, really? Shape up guys. Looks like I'm one of many complaining about the shocking service. Who in a world of social media and instant reviews wants to take the risk of having such bad service? What about striving for better? Go ahead, please surprise the world and drastically improve your customer service!
Devin Sage
Even though we just shared a slice of cake, I picked up on the bad service.
The cake was nice and moist but the icing was terrible!
Most of what was displayed looked unappetizing and the food on top of the display was not covered and had flies all over the place
Michael Morton
Had a really poor experience, food took an hour. Waitress was really poor... orders were all incorrect and took ages! no apologies made... unpleasant experience..

Late lunch at Vovo Telo. Service started off a little slow and clumsy (our waiter still has to learn a few things about wine serving etiquette), but everything from there on just went better and better (you easily forgive somebody if they are nice and friendly enough). I had the Deli Steak Pasta (really superb dish) and my companions had the Antipasta board and the Roast Veg Salad. The food is really good and well prepared and I think the whole menu is worth a try. I think the new manager (Francesco) is a big positive for this eatery. Go visit this place, the food, the people and the ambiance is worth it.

The fresh pressed fruit juices are delicious. Hubby ordered the chicken burger and it was tasty. I ordered the chicken and mushroom pie with mash and gravy. Sadly I was served Smash instant mash or something that resembled a gloopy tasteless mess that was masquerading as mash? Service was mediocre to say the least. Sadly, I won't be back.
Michelle
Every morning you walk in its an aroma of sweet pastries and freshly baked bread . The shelves are packed with breads and by the end of the day everything is sold out !! The rye bread and ciabatta is outstanding !!!

As I read some reviews I think maybe it's just a bad day. Sat and waited for a menu for 10 mins. Then waited for somebody to take my drink order...... I eventually called to a waiter after another 10 mins. I then order sparkling water to get told they don't have small ones only 1 liter. I say yes that's perfect. Next thing they back sorry we don't have ANY sparkling water......so I take still water and order quiche. 2 mins later they back. Sorry we have no quiche! Really????? Not impressed with this vovo. 😔

Went to this vovo Telo franchise for a coffee and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was great & my red cappuccino was delicious. My friend had a chocolate melted slab with orange and nutmeg, she said it was delicious just very rich. Will definitely be back.

I know Vovo is a franchise but I have been to 4 different branches and in my opinion Vovo Lynnwood Bridge makes the best sandwich out of all of them and my favorite tasting sandwiches in Gauteng. Their coffee (although not the best) is good and I am always impressed with their presentation (especially the teapots and cups). They make a great breakfast aswell.

Voco Telo has the best breakfasts!

The dishes on the menu ALL sound delicious so it always makes it hard to choose. They offer fresh and healthy food. That is the thing that always makes them a reliable breakfast spot.

They also serve great coffee and the service is friendly and helpful.

The baked goodies on display also looks amazing.

Definitely one of my all time fav café's.

Went to Vovo Telo for breakfast this morning,

Ther service was a bit slow and the meal I had, the open omelette, was average!

Their banting bread is pretty good though, had an okish meal!
Raoul
A great place to visit for a healthier breakfast option. Centrally located in the east and ideal for a quick breakfast meeting. Can get a bit busy which makes the service slower but a great ambience to start your day. The omelettes are great and the selections of herbal teas are excellent.

Always a lovely spot for brunch. The coffee and food are always of the highest quality and mouth wateringly delicious! The menu provides one with so many options to suit everyone's taste.

Make sure to take a peak at the on site bakery - a few of us ended up taking a little something from the bakery home for a treat later on!

Once you get a bite of this brand - it's very difficult just to overlook it - given the quality and friendly prices in these difficult times. So here I am at Lynnwood Bridge and decided to try this very one out.

Ambience - 3. Can't fault the location. Nice quaint space in a trendy shopping centre.

Food - 2. Just like the rest of Vovo Telo outlets, the menu is pretty standard with artisanal baked goods. This time around I tried the Pulled Pork Piadini - which is supposed to be a traditional Italian flatbread, filled with Vovoslaw (which came as dry cabbage and carrots shaves - horrible), BBQ pulled pork ( as dry as shaved wood), and some white scary thick sauce which apparently replaced coriander aioli and no one bothered to explain why there was no aioli. That for me counted as bad service from the word go. Not much effort was taken on this dish - probably served with an overnight pulled pork warmed up and ended just too dry...

Service - 2. John, the waiter was there but not there. Probably let down by the kitchen.

I left with mixed feelings about this Vovo Telo outlet because I have always enjoyed VT's fare wherever I found one. A bit disappointed on this one - will have to revisit just to arrive at a conclusive verdict.

I ordered the corn hotcake breakfast. It looked beautiful when it arrived with perfectly poached eggs. But then the dissapointment: the corn cake was doey and ice cold. The waiter - John - took it to the kitchen while I enjoyed the redt of the now a banting breakfast. He brought me a beautiful freshly baked corn cake to enjoy with my second cuppuccino. I love good service and mistakes fixed promptly and proudly. That is why I come here and not go to Tribeca next door whose quality and service have gone down the tubes with #hotspotarrogance

Popped in for a pick me upper and boy was I pleased it was a little hot and I needed something to cool off I went for a salted caramel vovochinno frappe it's one of the most amazing drink I've had to date such a perfect balance between salty and sweet with a coffee undertone as I was waiting for my drink I was tempted by their very delicious sandwiches but it had more or less things I have at my place so I opted for buying some of their amazing looking breads and a bread stick as I was inspired to make soup they have amazing bakes, love love love this place.

Vovo Telo in Lynnwood Bridge Centre was abuzz on Monday at lunchtime. Open planned, inviting the outside in. Pleasant in Pretoria's mild weather.
Then the food: freshly baked baguette filled with creamy fresh brie, crunchy juicy slices of tomato and basil.
I tweaked it to my liking with a little salt and a lot of freshly grounded black pepper. A feast fit for a queen. There is good reason why we still eat bread after thousands of years of civilisation.
The service (by Wendy) was friendly and fast. Lovely.

Went for a catch up lunch with a friend When we arrived it was busy the restaurant was almost full but the waitress was very friendly and helpful Our drinks arrived quickly after we ordered it. It was though a little bit dissapointing that they did not have any Tony Glass ice tea ! We both had salads The honey mustard chicken salad was delicious and would for sure order it again My friend had the Roasted Vegtable Salad she said it was also very tasteful
Busy little coffee shop/bakery in a mall. Very good coffee, and love the freshly baked breads and confectionary. Would love to see them also open in the evenings.

Chicken bunnychow was not up to standard, plenty spice but the flavour never really cooked in, chicken liver pasta, not enough heat or kick and creaminess compare to the one in bedfordview . Bad service, waiter only gave two of us one serviette and never cleaned the table until we asked her to. The cheese sticks there were smaller than the one I saw in umhlanga n bedfordview and drier. I think for people who has only been to this vovo telo the food wouldn't taste sub-standard to them, but I have been to the other ones hence the judgement. I believe they can do better since I ve spoken to the manager as well, looking forward to another visit, Becos everyone deserves a second chance

All Vovo Telos are the same, I find and thats not a bad thing. You know their standard and they must live up to that. Any kind of coffee on the menu also the Red range. Deco very lovely and staff friendly.

Had a solo Sunday brunch at this branch after having wanted to visit it for the longest time. I really enjoyed my breakfast at the 44 Stanley franchise and hoped I'd enjoy this experience too. I decided to have the lamb burger instead so I guess on those grounds I can't compare the food here with 44 Stanley. The lamb patty was rally rather on the small side for the size of the ciabattini it was served on so it felt like I was having more bread than meat. The patty was succulent and flavorful but I had a problem cutting through the ciabattini even with the sharp knife provided. It wasn't that it was old but rather that maybe it was just a really tough batch. I know ciabattini is of a slightly harder consistency than other types of buns but it shouldn't be a struggle to cut through. Maybe some time in the oven would fluff it up a bit and make it easier to cut. Even drizzling with olive oil didn't seem to help. I thought that the accompanying sweet potato crisps were on the too oily side. But they were yummy. I did enjoy my Coffee Vovochino though. Just the right amount of sugar, coffee, milk & crushed ice. I'd have had another one if I'd been been staying a little longer.

Will I be back? Probably. Nothing about this establishment would keep me away but nothing would have me going back there in a hurry either. I'm curious to try out more of their dishes because they do look very interesting & as though they'd be quite scrumptious. I guess in this instance I was somewhat underwhelmed by my overall experience.

I absolutely ADORE the decor of Vovo Telo!!! The mismatched wooden tables, some white-washed with mismatched chairs and benches are just so 'farmhouse kitchen'. Coupled with the rugs on the screed floor, the lovely 'wallpaper' and lighting ...

This morning we decided on breakfast. The prices are quite steep I found. BUT when we walked in, on the right-hand-side is a counter ... inside the counter are cakes and cupcakes and muffins and pastries ...

On top of the counter are more pastries AND the absolute jackpot - Ham and Cheese Pastry. It should actually be called a Croswitch (Croissant Sandwich) or a Crosquare (Croissant in a square).

Its a lovely square of 'croissant' typed dough pastry ... filled with ham and cheese. For R28!!!!!!!!! What a fabulous breakfast!!!!!

It was really delicious. Flaky on the outside, gooey and hammy inside.

I cannot wait to order that again ... hopefully the branches in Joburg will also stock them. Their coffee is excellent and service is good.

Freshly baked breads and pastries does not get any better than this. They bake their own bread fresh; everyday. Great variety with reasonable prices. An absolute MUST is the white hot chocolate

Grabed a seat in the lovely sun this Sunday morning a Vovo Telo, had a very nice Cappachinos and enjoyed looking through the menu.

Loved the atmosphere, a little busy buzz as people arrive to buy things at woolies (next door.) after church and maybe a quick coffee before going home to prepare Sunday lunch.

They also sell Artisan bread, lovely and delicious, I usually pop in and buy a ciabata when I'm planning on making a soup or stew.

Enjoy a fresh panini and cappuchino with my friend one morning, lovely meeting place or mobile office. Lovely centre. Great menu and the pasta is freshly made. Ambience and smell of baked goodies & coffee!

I've never really been disappointed in a Vovo Telo branch before, this one is no exception. Good service, delicious food, sinfully delectable baked goods & a welcoming atmosphere. It's hard to walk past once you've had a whiff of their freshly baked bread or pastries.
Francois Aucamp
Vovo Telo offers a great variety of pastries, the coffee is quite good, and the breakfasts are well presented, tasty and made from fresh ingredients - I can definitely recommend "The Matador". The service is friendly but not the best (some minor confusion regarding orders) - although it's by no means bad. Will go there again.

Casual dining at its best. Bread is their speciality, like restaurants that pair food and wine, Vovo Telo pairs great sandwiches with great bread.

Summer-fresh breakfast at @vovotelobakery (@lynnwoodbridge) this morning.
Pain Perdu - brioche French toast with berry compote and honey mascarpone cream - the perfect treat for a blue-sky day.
Too it all off with a latté and gorgeous company, and you've got a winning recipe. I'll do this again... What a tasty Sunday.
#food #recipe #baking #bakery #freshbread #vovotelo #coffee #ilovecoffee #coffeeaddict #caffeineaddict #pretoria #drinklocal #breakfast #sundayvibes #summer #sunday #latte #lynnwood #rayban #texture #instalove #instagram #latergram #foodporn #foodstagram #berry #decor #layout

They usually have great food , but this time it was a bit dry. The service was a little bad, but the coffee was great !! I would definitely go again for their pastries!

Great coffee. I do however believe that the bakery selection was lacking. In other branches there is an abundance of baked eats and sweet treats, this branch however does not have such variety. The service was not great but not bad, there was however confusion among the waiters as to who was serving us which was not discreetly spoken about as I was aware of the confusion.
