Loved our experience..everything was freshly made and super yummy. We also had Cashew nut chicken that to die for, fresh and hot. Service was really good..staff was friendly. we will totally be back.
Good value for money. Had their sushi buffet and was worth the R155 price. Good quality food, with excellent service. Will definitely recommend this restaurant for a fun night out with friends.
Great sushi restaurant.
We got tired of Yamakado Sushi as the quality went down quite a lot and the prices increased.
So we ended up at Tataki. Yes it's a bit out of the way but it's well worth it.
The restaurant is clean and feels a lot more relaxing than the mall restaurants.
Service was better too but in the end it's all about the food and Tataki delivers in spades. The sushi was fresh and some really unique tastes we have not had before. To top it off the prices are also much better than in the malls.
All in all a great little place well worth the short drive out.

I am a sushi freak. I eat sushi about 2 times a week. (I know i shouldnt😉), BUT. We had the R145 eat as much as you can, honestly we had way more rhan should have, but the sushi was fresh, delicious and probably one of the best I’ve has.
The Waiter! Wow was she the most friendly and pleasant lady ever!!!!! 😱 i asked for extra mayo, which i know is R5, she came back, said, is it too little? Before i could even say anything, she said yes, ill go get some more? Normally they’re SO stingy with mayo!!!
Nevertheless, the atmosphere and the decor/venue was very classy and homey.
Overall everyone was so friendly, even the sushi chef’s, it was such a pleasant experience.
They will definitely see me again!!
Best sushi in Pta! Super fresh tuna and salmon, beautiful attention to detail. Authentic Asian flavour combinations. The buffet is a winner!
The food is really good but take out orders gets mixed up. since my hubby is allergic to prawn it is important not too mix up my spring rolls, luckily I ate first that night.
My brother and I went there for dinner. It was just amazing. We had the sushi buffet and it was great. Different combinations and sushi I haven't seen on other menus. I can't really comment on the service because we had buffet and a few drinks only. But the ambience was nice. Soft music in the background and perfect lighting.
First time here...must saying everything was fresh-from the springrolls and fashion sandwiches(very good) for starters to our main meals of spicy prawn stir fry and chicken cashew. So from a food perspective and first impression quite nice.

The restu wasn't busy but that doesn't mean lack of service. The sushi is incredibly priced and there's a Three-4-Two special EVERYDAY 😱😱
We enjoyed the Boksburg Platter to try the establishment out and my oh my was it amazing! The only piece I didn't like was the California roll with carrots 👀 nonetheless I WILL BE BACK 🙎🏾♂️

Being Good Friday, a lot of restaurants are closed or very quiet. The same can be said for Tataki. My fiancé and I were the only customers at the restaurant and ordered a sushi takeaway. We ordered the Boksburg Platter, it didn't even take 10 minutes. We watched the sushi chefs prepare our sushi in the middle of the restaurant. The sushi is well priced and has a variety of different sushi. The restaurant is also well decorated and great care was taken for dine in customers. I will definitely return for a romantic date night.
Awesome place I always gets the greatest service. I am allergic to avo. When my family goes there I feel like a miljoen bucks. They wash everything and prepare my sushi. Great awesome staff. Go give them a try
Fantastic sushi and Thai. Can't wait to come back for the sushi buffet! Great atmosphere and lovely to sit outside. This afternoon I said to my husband after the last two hard days I need a break with great food. We got exactly what we asked for at a very good price.
What a lovely experience. The waiters are very friendly and the chefs immediately made us feel welcome. We loved how they kept interacting with us, offering us things to sample and asking us what we think. They even remembered what we liked the first time, and made a point of ensuring we got our favorites the second time round. Thanks guys, we all give you a big thumbs up!
As an avid Sushi fan.... this is by far one of the best places around.... even there hot meals are spectacular.... dumplings are deeeevine.
Affordable, FRESH......staff are amazing very attentive.... we drive 50km once a week to come here... it never disappoints. 2 of our favourites

The sushi here is good, they have a big selection and the service is friendly. We ordered a variety of sushi, some dumplings and spring rolls, everything was freshly prepared and very reasonably priced
Best sushi place in town... service is fantastic. My husband and i dont even order any more, they know exactly what we like and then they make it for us. I love this place
Good quality food, at affordable prices. One thing that stands out, is the huge variety of meals they have available. They also offer specials that's worth while. All in all a very nice and convenient restaurant.
It was my first experience at this Tataki all you can eat... (I use to go to the one in Forways quite often). It was really good, R145 for all you can eat + 3 pieces of sashimi (salmon or tuna), the variety is very good, best one by far was the tempura prawn maki followed by the salmon roses.
I have tried others "all you can eat" and tataki is still the best option.

Such a lovely experience every time we visit Tataki Oriental Cuisine. Last night we celebrated with a bottle of our favorite Beyerskloof Pinotage and some of the best sushi. Bit more expensive than your usual chinese restuarants but you get what you pay for: beautiful delicious sushi. Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great service and you can even watch the rugby ;)
If I could give more than five stars I would. The food is always full of flavor and the unique twists on the sushi is delicious. The people are so friendly. I always feel at home,even like family when I am greeted with their warm smiles. The atmosphere is so peaceful. The best restaurant in the entire SA.😁👍
The restaurant looks nice, but the menues are very old and some things are hard to read. The sou sauce is sweeter than normal and thicker which makes the sushi very rich. The service was fast and we never waited long for our orders. The buffet covers a lot of sushi on the menu and was well worth the price (R188pp as of May 2022). Sushi was delicious and I would recommend coming here for a meal

They will have to look at designing proper readable menus and alao look at their buffet prices.
Great sushi, great atmosphere, and very kind people working there, it's great to see the owners actually accompanied us at the entrance.
They are amazing. All sushi are fresh and prepared right in front of you with great care. They buffet might seem a bit expensive but as soon as you start eating and realized how good everything is all is worth it.
Went for the sushi buffet on a Wednesday night and because it wasn't that full we had the sushi delivered very fast. It was prepared really well. The soya sauce tasted slightly sweeter than usual and it wasn't the best but other than that it was a great experience.
Been coming here for almost 4 years as a couple. Always been happy with the food and the service! Would recommend coming here

The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. It's my favorite place to go for sushi and chow mein which is at least once a month.
Really enjoyed the restaurant. Expected a not so stylish Chinese restaurant but was pleasantly surprised as the restaurant was very decent with lovely decor. The all you can eat sushi was amazing and you definitely get your value for money (if you can eat a lot). The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Lovely atmosphere.

The sushi was lovely, also competitively priced. The service was a bit slow, but in their defense it was a really busy evening.
You can order sushi off the menu, which is always great. Will definitely visit again when I find myself in Pretoria.
