I was really impressed by the service of this part of the franchise. Good food and the add on of craft beer with the delicious burgers and chips on the side.
I love this place, my favorite burger joint. Only shame is that the Belgian shake I received initially had to be sent back, because it was not chocolate but vanilla. Attempt number 2 was a lot better. The bombs were the bomb, we had another portion. Our burgers were delicious, the fries maybe a little salty, but I didn't mind that. We couldn't finish our burgers, should not have had that extra portion of bombs. š¤£ All in all, the service was good.
Rocomamas comes recommended, they are really friendly and awesome.

One of the best takeaways in Pretoria East. The quality of the food is far superior to other takeaways. I had the cheese and bacon burger with shoestring fries. The burger was tasty and well presented, but I always find the portion of fries much too large. I also had the cherry cola milkshake complete with sprinkles, which was a delicious alternative to dessert. I've had the Belgian chocolate milkshake on a previous occasion and it too was delicious. I will definitely be returning.
Best Burgers in Pretoria. The perfect amount of bacon guacomole, red onion and whatever other stuff they put on there! Really DELICIOUS!!! And have you had their chips?! You have to try their food. And although you may not have space after eating their burger you have to try their slow death by chocolate freak shake. Their service is also great. Their staff are friendly and food is served hot and fresh... I know it's fresh because I saw them making it... Yes, you can watch your burger being made!
Staff are always friendly and the food is fantastic, the hot chocolate was very nice and we experience n cosy atmosphere. And the beers were propery cold.
A very nice atmosphere , waiters and waitresses are neatly dressed . Food was served fast and was delicious . Problem was waiting more than 15 minutes to get the bill and when I asked for my left over burger and ribs to be takeaway , we waited another 10 minutes ,but we didn't receive it so we left !

We really enjoy going to Rocomamas Hazeldean. The staff and service is always great and I can't fault this place. I like the fact that you can build your own burger, such a cool concept and food is always delicious without exception. The milkshakes and flapjacks are also comforting and delish! Great value for money. Will go back.
Lovely place for a casual meal. I had a a bacon guacamole burger with a side of chili cheese fries. My partner and I had a nice little wooden table in the corner with dim lights. The service was very good, we got our food promptly even though it was a Friday evening. Overall a great place to have barbecue-cuisine meal!
Good food, good service! Will be definitely be visiting this place again. Their burgers were truly amazing. Went there for lunch and was not expecting the quality of food and service we received. Had the bacon and cheese (always a classic) with a side of cheese fries. The fries were delicious and well portioned for a small. The burger was outstanding. Also ordered the full waffle, cookies and scream, which was also great. The restaurant is n bit expensive but not that much more than all the other places in the same area.
As always the smash burgers are really a treat. The cheese fries are delicious and we tend to overindulge in them. The vibes was really good during the evening. Although busy, but not ridiculously loud or unbearable. The waiter services are good, the food arrived moderately quickly. Granted it was a busy evening, but they never compromised the quality. Ā I was very satisfied with the evening and would definitely recommend it. I will be going back soon.
Surprisingly I have never had their normal menu food, only had breakfast, but I have to admit that it is one of my first choices when I want a full, tasty breakfast! Great breakfast and will definitely try the burgers soon.
I must say, this is my favourite Rocomamas branch. The service is always excellent, the waiters/waitresses are super friendly and attentive. The food never disappoints. Never. My boyfriend and I usually opt for Rocomamas when we're in the mood for a good burger, wings and a few nice cold beers. The mofo hot wings are REALLY hot, so it's a good thing if you love extremely hot food but if not the buffalo wings and peri-peri wings are equally as good. The chilli cheese bomb burger is a favourite. To finish things off, the milkybar and Nutella flapjacks are just heavenly! Decadent and fluffy. The range of gourmet milkshakes are also pretty good. I love the layout of this place, so chilled and spacious.
Can't find anything wrong with Rocomamas Hazeldean. We were seated in a professional manner and quickly. Our waitress was friendly and on point with everything. The food and gourmet milkshakes was delicious! Management was always present and ensuring food would go out timeously and to great standard.
Had a fantastic burger, was really fresh and tasty. The only complaint I have is the chips were really salty, perhaps I will ask for plain chips next time. Also had a great lime milkshake. Will definitely frequent this establishment.
This place is amazing!! When we first walked in I couldn't help but feel like I'm in an American restaurant. The menus and method of ordering food are truly unique. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone! I had the rock star burger with added feta cheese and let me tell you, if it wasn't for the other people around me, I would have licked the sauce off that plate šamazing service. I give them 5 stars

Rocomama's is the best go to for a beefy burger with delicious fillings. The opportunity to build your own burger is fun and exciting for most. The pricing is quite reasonable (R60-150 pp). The restaurant on a Friday night was busy, the staff had space for us and gave more than enough attention. It's a super spot to take the kids and also good for a craft beer and burger after work.
As with most Rocomama's branches, this place is excellent! Food is absolutely delicious and service is attentive! The ability to create your own burger and the constantly changing and innovative specials list are definite winners that keep you coming back for more! The one plus about this particular branch is the size, as many Rocomama's fans may know, the restaurants tend to be rather small, but this is not the case with this branch, it is a very decent size and as a result you are normally guaranteed a table within a reasonable time, if not immediately! If you haven't tasted the gloriousness that is Rocomama's, now is the time to do it!
Great value for money. The large fries are worth it. The chilli cheese bomb was really chilli and we loved it. Service was really good our drinks orders were taken quickly and the drinks themselves were delivered right after they were ordered. Food came out quick and we were all satisfied. The value factor is definitely there and we would go again.

Had a nice late lunch here, we've been wanting to try the place out for months, and it was worth it! We were a little confused as to how the menu worked and was a little puzzled as to how it worked and it turned out to be quite easy.

I was keen to try this Rocomamas for a while and finally had the chance last night. The menu is wide with a lot of variations and sides. We ordered quite a few burgers and ribs. The ribs were great, well basted, and full of flavour. The burgers were hearty had a good amounts of topping. The chips were stunning well seasoned and fresh. Definitely have some competition with Hudson's and Burger Bistro but the best burger place in Silver Lakes area. The manager is efficient and service is friendly. Will be returning.
Great place, great vibe, nice ambience, good food. The place lives up to the hype. What it could do better, is have sides of chilli or other dips that would go well with the chips. But the burgers, you could probably have any combination you want. Don't do the chicken patty though - it brought the rest of the burger down!
Honestly I don't know why the hype has dialed down from staff most of them no longer ask if it's ur first time at a rocommas so they can explain the menu to you. But in any case I love this place I was feeling slightly adventurous so I created my own smash burger and not to be punny but it went down a smash. Beef patty, mozzarella, bacon and basil with their addition of tomato and onion slice all covered in a smoky mayo sauce wow that smoky mayo dou, really went down a treat I was very happy with my creation.
Great place for an honest burger and beer with reasonable prices. Always full and a great vibe. Service is okay and really worth a try. Will be back for more. It can get a bit full so get there early.

Knowing how popular this place is, I called to reserve a table for 14:00, only to be told at 13:50 that there was no table available. We eventually got seated outdoors but with the sun blazing down, the umbrellas didn't help keep the sun out.
We got an attentive waiter who gave us great service. I like their Create a Burger concept, it allows one to experiment with various ingredients. I just added Spicy Coleslaw to my Smash Burger. Their burgers are absolutely delicious. I'm not a big fan of their fries though. The wings were okay, I chose the Buffalo (Hot) flavour.
For drinks I recommend the gourmet Peanut Butter shake and for something alcoholic, the Soweto Gold Apple Ale. Even if you are not a beer lover, this craft beer is similar to a cider.
I will definitely come back, I'm glad there is a proper burger joint close to where I stay.
If you are looking for an American-style diner, this place could not be more perfect. They have the most amazing menu concept, which allows you to take down your own order by ticking appropriate option boxes, and their food is beyond yummy. Burgers and fries for dayyyyyys. What a good eat. This is an amazing place to go to if you're keen for a beer and just some really good burgers. No muss, no fuss.

We had our lunch here with my partner. The food was amazing, absolutely perfect burgers. I also had ribs which were so good, perfectly done and marinated. David was our server, best service with smiles. He constantly checked on us if needed anything else. Thank you so much David, your service is so smooth and efficient.
Loved the food. Great taste as expected from every Roco mamas. They always have great specials which makes it affordable. They have the best waffles and wings ( mofo or peri peri are my personal suggestions)

Beer was cold, burgers were great, but the chips were - unfortunately- undercooked.
Service was great - even offered to replace the chips, which was refused.
Loss of a star due the chips - otherwise, Very highly recommended.
