This is a very hidden, cute little place in Hatfield. Quite unique. I had a great experience here, had amazing company, the food was great, the atmosphere was nice what more can a girl ask for. I definitely see myself coming here again for that amazing pizza..... I want to try out All of them because of the cool naming.

The place looks shady from outside but when you enter it’s something else. It’s cosy and very chilled. The staff is friendly and their pizzas are very scrumptious. Their in-house sauce is one of the best. It has become my new favorite pizza spot.
You've probably driven down Duncan and looked down the side street and noticed there's a sign for a pizza place. Yes this is Bravo...and next time you want pizza stop and order one. Good food at a good price. Really relaxed vibe...it is a student area afterall so don't expect too much from that point of view. I've tried the Talented Mr Ribley and some ribs as well...both pretty decent. Still want to try a burger as well.

Very unassuming from the outside, run by hippies and not at all focused on the finer things in life. The food here however is great and, if you're looking for a good pizza and nothing else, then this is the place to go!
The restaurant has a nice hippie and relaxing feel and the service is great. Their pizza sauce is on point. You can swap books or buy one for R10 which is amazing.

This is a new hangout spot I recently discovered. From the outside I'm not gonna lie it looked so dodge and was skeptical at first but as they say don't judge a book by its cover.
This spot is a typical student hang out spot as it's very near to tuks. The place is decorated with pallet tables and chairs and has a very chilled vibe to it.
We were served a pizza with bacon and avo which was amazing! With the pizza we had some of their peri peri sauce and wow, I'm a lover of some chilli to the mix and this definitely done justice, it was strong and flavourful with the pizza, loved that they came in little glass coke bottles, Dean the owner comes and make sure everything is perfect haha and as for some humor for dessert we were treated to some toffee flavored steri stumpi haha.
Great people with a chilled vibe. Very griendly service and good music. The fact that i can bring my own booze is awesome. Wood fired pizza just taste better thats why the pizza is awesome. Best in Pretoria.
04.03.2017 Simple, unpretentious and just plain good food. The owner Dean welcomed us in and it felt like i was sitting in a friends backyard chilling. Its got such a laid back vibe and definitely a place for students to hangout. Dean presented us with their speciality pizza called the " Sidewalk Vendetta " consisting of Bacon, Feta and Avo. Simple, tasty, great Pizza Base, and we were also given their peri sauce to add along with some chilli, garlic and parmesan. Wow it just takes it to the next level. Definitely not fine dining, very casual but expect fine food.
P.s. this review is solely based on the Pizza we received on the day for a Pizza Challenge.
This place serves the best pizza in Hatfield. They have a great atmosphere and venue that is nice to just chill at. The fact that they don't have liquor license is not a problem, since they allow you to ring your own booze

I absolutely love Bravo. The place is rustic and has a "back yard hang out" vibe to it which I love. I love the simplicity of the place. The music also adds on to a great ambiance so you can have your meal there and chill or you can get a take away. The pizza is by far the best I have ever had. I've probably tried 70% of the pizza menu and each pizza is packed with flavour and made to perfection.
Bravo has survived in Hatfield for many years. Now I know why 😄😄.
This was my first visit and they did not disappoint. No fuss, no frills....only really good pizza! Their pizza has a thin crust baked to perfection. And a great chilly sauce which is on sale at a reasonable price also.
They are not licensed, but you are welcome to bring your own.

I absolutely love Bravo's pizza, it is delicious and a little different than the norm. The place is very casual and you can sit outside or inside on comfy couches. The cherry bowl pizza is my favourite. I often go here, mostly for a takeaway pizza and will always return.
If you are looking for a classy sit down meal in a restaurant with great decor, Bravo is not for you!
Bravo is a no frills, no fuss student hang out that serves the most incredible pizza and at an extremely reasonable price! When I try to study these are the places that suck me in. Perfect place to chill and let the good times roll. The pizza is reasonably priced and simplistic right up my alley. I love how laid back the entire space is and the staff is super friendly, also got to try a new flavor of ice tea and a really delicious in house Portuguese sauce at R30 a piece I had to get myself a bottle.
Bravos is one of my favorite pizza places. They have a great atmosphere. It's lovely to see how they keep growing and changing.
I used bravos for a picnic event. Their pizzas were such a success! My favourite is the Sidewalk Vendetta and Prima Donna. I also ordered chicken wings which were well done and came with a delicious sauce!
They have got a bit more expensive but Bravos pizza is still a definite treat!

The pizzas are also so delicious - and they even have gluten free bases (which are great) for the unfortunate ones, such as myself, who can't have wheat! I'm a big fan of spicy sauce and would highly recommend their homemade hot sauce as a finishing touch on any of the pizzas😍
We were really craving a pizza and decided to go to Bravo! The place is quaint and contemporary. We ordered and received our pizza very quickly! They were delicious! Simply loved the tomatoes sauce base and the thin crust! Pizzas were full of flavour and they have a great chili sauce you can put on your pizza! Will be returning.

Bravos is a great place to have a catch up session with friends. The cosy couches and pallet tables make the set up more homey.
I had the Sidewalk Vendetta which had enough bacon to fix the troubles that the week may have brought on . Quite the win!
The service was lovely and our pizzas were ready quite quickly .

Spontaneous trips ended with my friend and I sharing an Italian stallion and Chicken Joe! Sitting on the streets of hatfield, with the student buzz surrounding us, we thoroughly enjoyed our choices and wish to go again soon.
Apart from being a take away pizza place, Bravo Pizzeria has also now tables, chairs and comfy couches for informal dining. A Book Exchange too, with plenty of books for next to nothing.
The pizzas are not your regular rich cheezy offerings. We had the Love You Long Time $10 - pepperoni, feta, caramelised onions and Jalapenos, the 3 Is A Crowd - double cheese, feta, blue cheese and rocket and my favourite, the Cherry Bowl - ham, glaced cherries and chilli.
Food is readonably priced. I was served by the owner, a kind and genuinly friendly guy.

Consistently serving up delicious pizza - my favorites are the happy hippie and Italian stallion but I have never been disappointed with anything from their menu. It is very much a communal student vibe only downside is the lack of a liquor license. This leads it to be more of a take away spot than a sit in and chill pizza place.
This is a lovely venue, great for anybody looking for a pizza you can't forget. The rag-tag vibe is amazing and it feels like home; (even more so if you are a student).

By far the best pizza I have ever had. The pizza is unbelievably good for such reasonable prices, especially for a student like me. The vibe is cool and relaxed and the staff are super chilled and friendly. Perfect for lunch, dinner or anytime when the Bravo craving hits. Make sure to add their famous Bravos sauce to any pizza ordered. It is delicious! They sell bottles of the sauce as well to take home with you in case you can't get enough of it on your pizza ;)

One may initially be off-set by the appearance: rather unmemorable exterior decor; shanty looking furniture; and plastic crates being used as tables... but perhaps the old cliched adage of not judging a book by its cover is best illustrated by this little gem that is tucked away in the heart of Hatfield.
Once you take a closer look at this place, you actually see that all the decor was deliberately placed there to create a rather charming Bohemian/Hipster atmosphere. The staff have always been friendly and accommodating which goes a long way of adding to the dining experience.
Bravo's Pizzeria is quite easily my favourite place to get a bang-for-buck, lip-smackingly scrumptious pizza. Couple that with an ice-cold glass bottled soft drink (which I will stubbornly maintain does impact the taste and fortunately I think that Bravo's agrees) and you will have yourself one happy tummy.
The restaurant is unique in all the right ways, from the selection of pizza's right down to the laid-back atmosphere.
Older diners may not appreciate the student vibe that epitomises Bravo's, but if you're willing to experience it, then you certainly will not be disappointed by the food.
So in short, if you're in Pretoria and you want a great pizza for a great price (and I mean actual pizza that is made in a wood burning oven), then look no further than Bravo's. I'm going to cut this review short and go order myself a Sidewalk Vendetta for the umpteenth time!

Bravo's does a great pizza and is well-loved in Hatfield. Their service is quick and friendly and the pizza is also of consistent standard every time. There's not much seating - it's more of a take-away place - but what is there is casual and communal. Unfortunately still doesn't beat my rating of pizza from the Ant - my favourite outside of Italy.
My Favorite restaurant in Pretoria! I am here at least once a week and decided to start ordering from the top and just test all of the pizza's _ so far I have not been disappointed! BEST!!!
I'm finally getting around to reviewing bravos. The top spot in pretoria on zomato right and it probably deserves to be there. The pizzas are amazing and the bohemian styling is very comfortable. A lot of the younger crowd appear here, but don't worry, students don't bite. Anyone is welcome and the food is worth it. Try #thedude pizza. Knocked my socks off. All in all one of the best spots around. Definitely a must see of you're in pretoria.
You can't go wrong with a Pizza from Bravos. I've been eating here for years now and never had a bad time! Took my parents there for my graduation lunch and my pops is now their biggest fan! Definitely worth a try for anyone in the area.
Every time I go there it's like the first time. Tasty pizza for amazing prices. They're big enough to share which is great. Cool couches and foosball table makes it the perfect hangout spot if you just want a chill. The owners are really friendly which is nice - you can chat with them and joke with them. The Italian Stallion is probably my favourite with four different kinds of meat. Also, there Bravo's sauce is the perfect thing to top it all off.

Favorite place to chill out! With the retro decor and laid back vibes, it's an amazing place. The pizza however had dropped in standards as the toppings used to be generous and the prices were more than reasonable, I come back 2 years later to study in the area and the prices had increased and the toppings were minimum...slightly disappointed but also glad to see the update from just pizza to coffee, waffles and many more options!

Wonderful unpretentious atmosphere. Thin pizza bases with exciting toppings. I've been buying there since their small beginnings (not so small anymore but never compromises on quality) and we ALWAYS leave satisfied. Did I mention....we even buy pizza bases to take home for Sundays!

As a Tuks student I am very loyal to Bravos and will always reccomend their pizza. It is not a sit down and eat place although there are couches which gives it a very social vibe. Old school glass bottles of soft drinks and one day we got a coke bottle and cap but it was filled with fanta grape which was rather funny
The pizzas here are really great. I had a pizza called "The Dude" that had blue cheese and was really tasty. The vibe is really great. Highly recommended.

Bravos pizza is good and the vibe is very relaxed. This pizza restaurant is based near the University of Pretoria so expect a younger crowed around the tables but that doesn't mean it's going to be loud and noisy. Very relaxed vibe.

There's something about Bravo. I've been frequenting them for 3 years now. The pizza's a different - from the names to the taste. They provide medium to crispy thin bases with an array of toppings that sometimes make you say, "Seriously, Cherry?" but make you wanting to go back there for that unforgettable taste. The pizza base is different from the stock standards every where, so I think for some it may not be the taste they are looking for. I am veg, so I usually stick to the Hippie Happy (Vegetarian) or the Pre-Madonna (Rocket, Pesto, Cherry Tomatoes). I find their pizza's "Hit the spot", the vibe, though studenty at times, is always warm and relaxed. It makes for a great casual and chilled sociable evening out with friends! On my trips to PTA, I try to always stop by with my friends, and spend a good hour there vegging out in what I deem the Best Pizza in Pretoria.
Ordered the bolognese pasta and Italian stallion pizza. Best past ever, best pizza ever. I honestly couldn't fault the meals. Service was quick, food ready in 10 minutes. Value for money. I'll never buy anywhere. And the staff are so friendly.
We ordered pizzas via Uber. It was quite nice - we enjoyed it. The pizzas come with an extra chillie sauce, which is very good. Worth the try.
Oh my goodness. This place's pizza is the best pizza i have ever tasted in my life. It just tastes so fresh. My boyfriend and I will never buy anywhere else pizza takeaway again. And the service is sooo fast. If they tell you the pizza will be ready in 10min, then the pizza will be ready in 10min. Just WOW. The staff is also amazing. You have something good here… You should advertise the place more on social media
What an understated place. The only thing better than the food was the friendly staff! I had Wings and Salad (yes, I know I was at a pizza joint!!) and they were phenomenal. We also had two pizzas which were also amazing. One of the best pizza bases around and with just the right amount of topping. The music and lighting,l was also bang on. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Good pizza, good price, a favourite. It is an unassuming pizza but it's a good quality, tasty, thin-base pizza and value-for-money. It's also a chilled venue, quiet enough for conversation or minding your own business. Service is efficient and not intrusive. Location is okay, expect a student vibe but have seen families there. It's just a lekker chillaxing, suburban hang-out, whether one has time to dawdle or a quick in-out. A lovely new addition to the menu is the 2-pax lasagne (also for frozen take-out). A pleasant, low-key spot with no issues or drama.

There is private outdoor seating as well as couches indoors if you choose to sit more casually while enjoying your meal. The parking is curbside but there is always a security guard on site to protect your vehicle

My fiancé and I have been frequenting Bravos for months.
Their pizzas are unique and they have quite a good variety. The base is thin with a great texture. Bravos' sauce (which can be found with the condiments if you dine-in) is a must try if you enjoy a little spice on your pizza.
Their other menu items are also worth a try. The beef burger meal, and chicken salad are good alternatives.
I had the Italian Stallion pizza with extra cheese, it was so delicious. Their services great, you don't wait long for your pizza. Their drinks menu is a bit boring though, no cocktails or ciders
