If you are looking for an amazing and unique experience this is the place to be. The food will really challenge your taste buds but it's good. Great atmosphere. This place is so big inside and can host closing parties etc

What a wonderful experience. We celebrated my friend's birthday and we had a great time. I was drawn in by the beautiful décor and the atmosphere just makes you feel like you in another city. The dancers were great, really talented in what they do The service was great and I was so impressed that they even accommodated us with a TV, to watch the rugby. That's going beyond and above. The food, was amazing and it just kept coming. I would definitely recommend A'la Turka for any occasion.

You arrive and start behaving like a Chinese tourist, taking photo's as everything is worth a picture. The decor is just amazing. The vibe is relaxed, and you feel free to roam and explore the beauty and interesting things that surround you. The Kleftiko was delicious, moist and tasty, but for me the rice was the winner. I have no idea what they do, but it was so flavourful. The chef special Doner Kebab, was a hit. The Prawn dish...well I have never tasted prawns so soft and delicious. The Turkish delight was a hit, and my husband tried getting recipe from someone. Will be back for sure

Gorgeous building and stunning interiors that make you feel like you're in Turkey. Security guards are extremely friendly and welcoming. They offer an a la carte menu and a series of set menus you can order - be warned the portion sizes are huge when ordering for only 2 people. The food was tasty and authentic but a bit pricey. Be aware, a 10% service charge is automatically added to your bill and it was not clear whether the servers actually get that tip.

It was a beautiful and fun filled evening. The atmosphere, dining experience, colourful cocktails, service, belly dancers and vibe absolutely world class. I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing, service is great and the aesthetic is something I've never seen before. So authentic to the Turkish culture. Highly recommend this place for a date night. The belly dancers are very entertaining too!

Great experience and beautiful venue. If you are in the mood for something else than the usual then it's the perfect place. Makes you feel transported to Turkey without leaving Pretoria. Food was great. Service was excellent, our waiter, Givemore was very attentative. Pricing is worth it for the quality cuisine. Perfect for year end functions, weddings or just a night out in town.

Do not make the mistake of not experiencing this somewhere in your lifetime, from the word go we were received in the most professional manner, the food was delicious from the entree to the desert, the staff was professionally trained fast efficient and friendly. The girls doing their traditional dances were professional and a sight to be seen. Please support this well established venue, do yourself a favour and exchange a couple of words with the owner he is a very pleasant gentleman and has very interesting stories to tell.

Nice food, good portions, but beware of the additional charges for entertainment and tips. Drinks are also quite pricey. Can be noisy with loud music so not somewhere you want to take small children. Belly Dancers are experts in their craft and the chef has not failed to impress.

Beautifully Bohemian setting with interesting decor, terraced garden nooks, and sassy belly dancers. Almost like a Sheik's castle from some far flung Middle-Eastern country has been transported here. Good food, with very arge starter portions (perhaps too large for ladies). Staff might have been overstretched a little on our busy night, as courtesy and attentiveness mostly lacked. The ladies' leaky loos need maintenance, as there appears to be an ongoing issue. Having said that, the overall experience is highly recommended, and the concept and execution very clever.

A unique venue for group dinners out and truly wonderful experience but is it worth the price tag, I’m not so sure… The food is above average, some dishes simply delicious, but the portions of the set menus (when ordering for large groups) are questionable. While you are charged per person it doesn’t look like you get “per person” portions. With the menus, about 2 drinks a person and all the extra charges, you’re looking at +\- R600 per person.
