Review Cafenio - Pretoria

What a gem in Colbyn. This restaurant is quite full of surprises with the friendly staff and also the way the restaurant represents Greece, after going to Greece once before we miss it even more now. Thanks to everyone for giving us great memories again! Hope to see you soon in the future again!

It is a cozy cafe and tranquil environment to enjoy with loved ones. I loved enjoying our meal under the trees and the great service we received from Hazel. The food is delicious.

Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly waitress who brought me a menu. She helped me with recommendations and ensured my order was correct. The we're happy to give me the WiFi password to do work and made sure I was happy. Food was delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. Music from the 60s-90s playing and customers chatting and laughing. A great place for a family lunch or a coffee break to work. Takeaway is available too. Great service, quick meal preparation and delicious food. Highly recommend a visit.

Best cafenio in the area. Most delicious cappuccino and cake. Cappuccino special for sit down at R15 per cup. Freshly baked cakes. Menu prices good. Lovely outside under the trees. Great service. Will definitely come again.

My friend and I had a lovely experience at Cafenio. We ordered their drinks which were served on cute gold plates. Our waitress provided us with 5 star service, the atmosphere was beautiful and it was overall a 5 star experience. Thank you Cafenio!

Really nice Greek café/restaurant. The meze is excellent, and they serve good coffee, and a proper Greek frappe.

The staff are friendly and the service efficient.

This is our new coffee hang out 😃 Great vibe with excellent coffee and we love the Mediterranean feel as it reminds us of our travels. Good for a bite as well 👍🏼 Waiters remembered us and our preferences too!

Great spot for a lunch under the trees on a summers day. I visit once a week when in Pretoria as it’s just off the N1. Friendly staff and good coffee.

Amazing place for a quick Greek lunch or a breakfast with friends or for business. Service is quick and staff are friendly and helpful. The decor is something different with instruments hanging from the ceiling and layout has enough space for one to sit outside on a sunny day or inside on a rainy/cold day.

Had the chicken gyro and have also had their toasted sandwiches once before. The chicken gyro was fulling, fresh and reasonably priced, coming with side of chips or salad. I always choose thier chips as they are real potatoe chips.

I also recommend thier ice coffees. They will definetly be seeing me again.

A great spot for lunch. Had the delicious souvlaki, it's really well priced and the tzatziki is amazing. There is a really great ambience when sitting outside and the instrument collection is something to look at!

Huge outside area option made unbearable with all the smoke flowing around. Enjoyable coffee and nice breakfast options available. Service is friendly and at a good speed.

Cafenio in Colbyn is a good mix of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. It’s lovely little place that offers a relaxed atmosphere and ample inside & outside seating. Their menu’s are reasonably priced and boasts a variety of meals.

I enjoyed their wrap and salad and was not dissappointed. This is not a pretentious place and makes it a perfect choice for a chilled get together and to grab a quick bite.

This is a great little cafe, with beautiful decor and open early for traditional and Greek breakfasts. Food was good, and free WiFi, so a nice spot to start a Traveller's business day!

What a gem!!!! So sad I only discovered this place now! The staff are friendly. The food is amazing not to mention the coffee. The staff also doesn't make you feel like you are in their way when you just want to work and use their super fast WiFi. I'd recommend anyone to visit Cafenio...

If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy a good cup of coffee while not driving too far out of the city, Caféino is the place to go. Quaint little shops with a chilled, feel-good vibe and quite decent coffee. Will definitely be back soon!

I like nothing more than going to a quaint coffee shop that serves authentic, honest cuisine with exceptional artistry. Cafénio is one of these hidden gems.

The restaurant is almost not noticeable at first. It is situated on an island carefully bypassed by the passing traffic. A secondary road and a spacious parking lot keeps the restaurant at a safe distance from the busy main road so that one can enjoy the typical café-style ambiance.

The menu is simple, easy to follow, and is not overwhelming. It is equally simple to choose exactly what you feel like eating without too much compromise. With the added benefit of the food not being heavy, it makes lunch at Cafénio a versatile one to say the least.

The flavours are fresh, honest, and very much in the Greek/Mediterranean tradition. Only good impressions have been formed while experiencing Cafénio.

Sadly they are not open for supper, else I would visit more frequently.
