On Friday night my boyfriend and I decided to have dinner here. We both ordered the Chicken burger with bacon, avo and cheese and it did not disappoint, as well as the sweet potato fries- they are a must! The prices are reasonable for what you get, although you have to order sides separately- it is a large portion. ( we shared one side order )
It was quite busy, with only 4 waiters and the manager running around to try and accommodate everyone..
The atmosphere and decor adds to the experience .
Will definitely be back again.
What a wonderful experience this was. Lovely atmosphere. Came here around 11:00am when they just opened. Pricing is great and the food was awesome.
After the lovely thunderstorm we had tonight, Ribs & Burgers was the destination for supper tonight. The place was fairly empty and I chose a seat close to the outside (was still warm outside). Tendai served us and we placed our order (Mighty bacon & cheese burger, chicken blt burger and chips). When the food arrived, we tucked in. Well prepared and tasty. The chips are to die for - excellent taste! Consistency is key and I liked it!

23.12.2018 After watching a show at Times Square we weren't sure what eateries would be available for walk-ins (as most are usually full and require Bookings when there is shows) or would still be open as its a late Sunday. We went across to Menlyn Maine and decided to try Ribs N Burgers, as I have been craving Ribs.
They not your usual restaurant, as you need to place your orders at the counter and they will bring your food to you and the bill thereafter.
The menu is limited if you not a meat / junk type food eater. It's nice to see they have Beef, Pork and Lamb Ribs, i chose the Pork st Louis Ribs with Onion Rings and the Chilli Mayo. The rest of the family opted for burgers, i.e. the Aussie, the Cheeseburger, etc with Sweet Potato Fries.
To wash it down, we each took a different Lemonade I.e. Original, Apple or Mint. All were really good, and my brother had the Salted Caramel Milkshake.
I loved my Ribs, it was juicy and tender, but still doesn't have that sticky vibe I was hoping for. Their Onion Rings dunked with some Chilli Mayo are really good and are easily competition for Spur. The Sweet Potato Fries I can also say were tasty, but not my thing.
Although more like a Takeaway, we all enjoyed our meals and drinks and so glad i have a branch closer to work, as well as finally trying this branch since it opened a long while back. The food arrived quite quickly, the service was a bit slow.

visited this place with my colleagues after a stressful day....the ambience is good...ordered a big burger with my beer ....lemme tell u that the burger was big, juicy and tasty. grt stuff.
Great burgers and the bloody best chicken wings in town (although a bit expensive for wings). The Aussie burger (yes I know how we feel about the Aussies when it comes to rugby) was one of the best burgers I have had in a while.

My second time at Ribs & Burgers. 1st time was soon after they opened. I feel like they have made a few changes to adapt to the South African market that make for a better experience (not having to order at the counter when sitting in for example).
Fortunately the quality of the meat remains top notch. Not sure how and where the meat is sourced, but I love it. Its probably "organic". The patties have real flavour and are cooked through beautifully. I had the two sliders and fries ( one chicken and one beef ).
Service was good and the food came out quickly. I did arrive just before the lunchtime rush hour to be fair, so quick service is a must.
Definitely a spot to make a regular for good burgers. Next to try the ribs.
It was our first visit at Menlyn Maine so we decided to try Ribs & Burgers given that it's unique to the area. We were quite surprised how busy it was, probably due to the fact that the sun arena was good hosting a show. This left an awesome vibrant atmosphere. The food.. cheese burgers and the chicken burgers were delicious, which pleasantly surprised us. What also stood out were the chunky cut fries, equally good were the sweet potato fries.. Crisp , nicely cut and well prepared. Despite being busy.. Service was friendly and good. I will definitely recommend Ribs & Burgers on your next visit !
Best Burgers in Town. Have been coming back
time after time. I cant vouch for their Ribs because I cant come here and order anything else besides a burger. Do yourself a favour and start with the plain burger and work yourself up to the fancier ones. Reason being: you need to appreciate the quality of the ingredients the use on their burgers! From the meat to the bun, everything is of the best quality. No fuss , no fancy nonsense, just a damn good burger. PS: their prices are very competitive.

I had to give this place 5 stars, twas my first time at this and I totally loved it!
Decided to try the Aussie burger even though I was skeptical and it turned out great, loved the setting and the quick service, loved the place will definitely be going back.
We visited on a Friday night before a 8pm show.
When we got there, there was no host/manager to show us to a table. We walked in and after standing around we were eventually shown to a table.
Ordered a cappucino and a malt milkshake, which was brought very quickly. If only I could say the same about the food. Ordered a lamb burger & a bacon & cheese burger. It took so long that by the time it arrived we had 5min to finish it.
Food was delicious, it's just a pity the service sucks.
If you are looking for some good simple food Then this is the place to go!
Good value for money and the ribs are lovely.
Staff are friendly and very helpful with the menu.
They were very busy, but they keeper there stands which is good to see.

Best sweet potato chips ever!! Although it being busy, the food arrived reasonably quick and the service was great. Their burgers taste great and are priced really well. Love the fact that they have the option of ordering the burger without the bun for those who would like too. Great variety of burgers
Tried this place after a terrible experience dining at a neighbouring restaurant, ordered a take away double cheese burger and it was sooo good. Will definitely be back to try their other offerings.
Excellent food - thanks for my gluten free naked burger 😊. Props for keeping the kitchen open until after the +Live+ concert let out! It was really busy last night but the staff remained efficient and patient. A bit of a wait to order but well worth it.

We moved inside due to the weather. The decor was so awesome - modern and neat ranch. The food all tasted fantastic, well cooked and presented. The men loved the beef ribs just expected a bit more meat for that price range. The lamb burger was good and well cooked. If you looking for a good rib and burger joint, be sure to stop by. 🍔🍖
Bored with eating the same food every day? Go eat the falafel burger at this place. You will have to order fries as a side - but its worth it cause its the best fries we have had in a loooong time. Drinks menu could use some craft on tap and the wine unfortunately is via carafe. Great to sit outside and view some supercars drive by on a weekend.

It's always been on my "TO-GO" list_ so went there with my bff 😍... goodness gracious, it was AMAZING!!!!
I love the place itself, it has a nice vintage vibe with all archaic instruments and decor. I love how they have a basin right there at the exposure of their guests. Nonetheless, i feel that they should invest in a bin just by the basin.
The waiters are well informed, very friendly and attentive. Huge S/O to Simba! Kept the smile throughout our stay.

A great place to grab a bite and chill. Although the space has a great modern/industrial feel to eat. The food was really burger and the fries crispy on the outside but delightfully soft on the inside. The service is good and the staff friendly.
My first visit. Arrived and was welcomed but then waiter disappeared. Eventually I walked in and asked for service, and from then on it was like lightening... fast & efficient. Ordered the lamb ribs with onion rings. Whilst waiting, I checked out comments on Zomato and following those, ordered their chips too. What a great meal! Ribs were excellent and juicy. Onion rings excellent and chips excellent. So what... they serve beer and wine in unusual glasses, but it all tasted great. Manager and staff were attentive and the prices reasonable. Will definitely be back. Turn & Tender can learn a thing or two from them. Thanks all at R&B.

Tried these guys yesterday after feeling for something very comforting on a cold day. From the minute we walked in service was on point, greeted, shown to a table near the heater... Was very cosy and given menu's at the same time... This is a winning factor!
Ordered the lamb burger after contemplating the lamb ribs too... Chips and onion rings... Very good portion size of chips and onion rings too. Burger was tasty, bun was soft and I couldn't stop eating!

My rating is at 5 because I cannot find anything to point at them and say something was wrong... Nothing was wrong this was fantastic!
My wife and I absolutely love this joint! Ribs & Burgers is a favorite for our date days. I have been here with friends as well. Not once have we experienced bad food. Once the service was slow but the manager took over and things ran smooth again. According to me Ribs, best in PTA Burgers, top 2. Malt milkshake is also EPIC. This place is a must!

Excellent service; our waiter was attentive and we did not wait long to bee served. We had the ribs and can honestly say the name is more than apt as it was delicious! Certainly worth the visit. On Saturdays there's a lovely atmosphere when music is playing in the square as well.
Chips is great!! Big portions!! Burger was good value for money! Love the sitting clise to the street atmosphere! Not a good place if you have kids, though!

When the craving for ribs hit, it hits bad. If you're like me and you "uhm" and "ah" about where you could possibly go to satisfy this craving, and a box of just add heat and char ribs from a supermarket just ain't gonna cut it. You can understand my excitement when I discovered Ribs and Burgers, as it's namesake implies...
The restaurant is modern, simple and clean. The customer service is fantastic. But most importantly, the food looks great - I include here, my table observations of other people's food. So on to my food experience, the ribs (pork) weren't bad, it wasn't amazing either, but satisfactory for the rib craving. I must admit, I very much enjoyed my leftovers I took with me to work the next day, and clearly...so did my ravenous coworkers. Mostly my reasoning for the not bad, good but not amazing opinion on the ribs is based on the price point. The ribs are rather pricey, ribs are in general the most expensive meal on most restaurants menus, but I'm a bit sad that at the price point they don't come with a choice of side. I have been to places that can offer me the same mass of ribs, taste good and I get a side at a similar, if not slightly cheaper price.
Additional positives about this place, their burgers look fantastic and the burger options should cater for most people, like the exciting vege burger options. I'm not vegetarian, but I like the option. I definitely will go back to try out the burgers.
If there's a place that you take somebody for a date, this would definitely be my pick, nothing better than getting to know somebody over messy faces and saucy hands, right?

I've heard a lot about the new Australian on the block and could not wait to try it. We arrived at the restaurant quite early for dinner and it was empty, however it did get full pretty quickly thereafter. The burger was delicious, and served medium as promised on the menu. I loved that they put their (very) crispy onion rings inside the roll. We then ordered dessert- pumpkin fritters and soft serve with chocolate sauce. Our waiter forgot to bring the soft serve, which actually turned out to be a good thing as the serving of pumpkin fritters was quite large. The pumpkin fritters were nice- I think it would be a bit better if they had more pumpkin and less flour though. Serve was very attentive and friendly in the beginning, however the staff did seem to struggle a bit as the restaurant started filling up.
Aussie style burger joint. You order and pay at the front counter...A waiter drops off your order and clears the table when you're done. It's a plain and simple restaurant and if that's what I'm looking for that day, then R&B is it. So don't go there and expect a 5star dining experience. That is not what they're about. I had the bacon&cheese burger. It was super tasty. Their onion rings are yummyyyy! Make sure you try them! 😉 The strawberry milkshake was really good too. They're a bit pricey, but I'm guessing it's because they're an international franchise...So prices are the same globally? Anyway, I'll definitely go again!

I was really surprised by Ribs & Burgers. Once you get used to the ordering system (give ’em a fair chance), it is smooth sailing! I ordered a chicken burger (with a proper chicken fillet – not a chicken patty) that was so juicy and tasty. Nothing complicated – just a good burger, exactly what I wanted. And those fries (both potato and sweet potato!) and onion rings – perfect! The sides are ordered separately - but the portions are HUGE!
Sophisticated, modern & upmarket Rib & Burger venture. Pleasing seating inside and out. Ordering and paying at the counter in a restaurant of this quality in this particular location feels somewhat incongruous.
My Butcher's burger was delicious and the fries fantastic. Carnivores beware: the meat portion is small (150g). The patty was almost lukewarm - perhaps from waiting for the fries to cook?

Felt like a cold beer and burger last Friday so decided to give Ribs & Burgers a try. Unfortunately on arrival we were told that their liquor licence has not been approved yet, however I am sure this will be sorted out soon. The burgers tasted great, made using fresh ingredients and the chips were some of the best I've had. They have an interesting concept whereby customers have to order and pay at the counter, thereafter your food will be brought to your table. I'm not so sure if I like this idea particularly if I want to order something else or a few drinks then each time I have to get up and queue at the counter. Lets see how this pans out. Overall good experience, will definitely go back.
We have been to Ribs and Burgers numerous times since it's opening a few weeks ago. Delicious burgers and sides and great value for money! The sweet potato fries is a favorite of mine. The portions are generous and the service fast and friendly. I foresee that this Australian concept is going to be a great success in SA! The best burgers I have ever tasted. This is our new go-to burger joint for sit-down and take away meals!

Crispy outside and soft on the inside . Do try the super onion rings. Not soggy or oily! A few type of patties to choose from. Sure you can build a tower burger. 😀 my burger (cheese and bacon) was fantastic medium rate patty super! Will see me again. Great place for local take outs - even kiddy meal for R39

Wheelchair friendly, but toilets are not wheelchair friendly in the establishment, but Merlyn Maine caters for all and their ablutions are nice and clean.
Well, since I'm not a big fan of burgers, I started underestimating the taste and thinking I wouldn't like the food there (Thought it was going to be plain, bland, etc.), but anyway... For a change, I somewhat tried the burger—the Mighty Double Cheese in particular🍔. Gosh ! I was so thrilled! The taste was EXTREMELY TASTY! The yummiest burger I've ever tried so far! I ate so fast that I didn't even notice it was finished already!😂

Lovely eatery, burgers and chips are of good standard, was served by a lady called Enough and she was very much friendly. It’s clean and has a lovely atmosphere. I spent less then R350, for good ribs and two burgers with chips and a drink, for me that was quiet affordable.

This place is a must try! My friend and I were on holiday and came here to try the burgers. The staff (Buyi, Given, and manager TP) were so kind, respectful, and attentive. The burgers were mouth watering and the drinks were delicious. I ordered the lamb burger with a mojito and my friend got the wagyu royal with an alcohol-free grapefruit margarita. Our experience was so wonderful we visited one last time before returning back to the U.S. You will not be disappointed!

Quick and Easy lunch selection for delicious burgers and ribs. Great for dine in or takeout. Friendly staff all round and a relaxed atmosphere, definitely a 10 out of 10 for me. Service Is on point.
Delicious burgers!
The bun is perfectly toasted and the patty juicy with minimal garnish which is just the way I love my burgers. Hubby had the wagyu burger which he didn't enjoy but I gobbled it up for him!
The beef ribs were good but a tad salty. The service from Quinton (sp) was fantastic!
