Review Crawdaddy's Silverlakes - Pretoria

Everything was amazing. Service was beautiful. Food was absolutely delicious lol oh and the portion sizes whew!! It's also a very child friendly place!
An-Lie Mostert
Great family restaurant with fun kids area. Service is a little slow, so expect to wait a bit. The food is great, and the vibe is busy. A place to choose for a good evening out. Could, however, update their safety precautions in the kids' play area. However, overall, it's a good choice.
Riek's Woodworks
What a great experience. The food and service was great, efficient and with a smile
Neels Maritz
Great food and service. Well priced. Love the back yard where the kids can play. The menu has a nice variety to choose from. You can sit inside or outside. Prawns ton die for
Riaan Le Roux (KingRiaan)
Absolutely amazing food and Sunday vibe, tomahawk ribeye 750g perfectly grilled and xtras service with a smile
Mary Jane du Plessis
Food was really tasty and the portions where very big. Only downfall is it's always busy but this is not the restuarant's fault. The tables could be a little bigger as well but overall good experience.
Werner Smit
Pricy place but well worth it. The quality and portion size of the food are superb as well as the presentation. The service is friendly and for the scale and load of the restaurant fast. Servers have great recommendations and are happy to assist with any dietary needs to substitutions where they can. The play area is excellent and close to the seating area, easy to watch the kiddos 😀
Chantelle Smit
Friendly staff and great Food! We never go there and leave unsatisfied. Will recommend them every time. Always a nice experience Bad they had to change their menu, with a few small changes on no switching rice to chips on starters. To bad but food is still good.
Anton de Zeeuw
Very large purpose built family restaurant. Areas for quiet dining but also a seating area right next to the restaurant’s playground. Large menu with just about everything on it. Service with a smile.

Invited a few friends for my birthday. The food was exceptional, as was the service. I had the sirloin and mash and it was delicious! They also brought ice cream to me after they found out about the birthday! Loved it. Thanks for a delicious day out!

Crawdaddy's Silver Lakes is always worth visiting! The food and service was excellent and the children loved the variety of milkshake flavours on the menu. One if the few places where we can still find 1kg prawns on the menu!
Ms Noxolo
The stir fry that I ordered was out of this world! In both taste and the portion size. So so delicious. I had to pause and take a picture lol. The cocktails selection is good, but the shooters were just a bit of a let down. Otherwise great service, nice place and friendly staff!
Halvard Estensen
It is the perfect adult place, with good drinks, good food and excellent service. The music is not to loud and it is easy to keep a conversation going around the table.
Jacques van der Merwe
This is probably the best restaurant we have been to in a long time. The food was excellent, and the service was swift. Nice play area for the kids.
Liesl Kotze
Fantastic all over . The food, service and the special birthday ice cream surprize.
Nicola Bursnall
You would never expect the quality of food, from a place that has an 8 page menu, to all be great!! And yet, it is impeccable.

The staff are all great too!
Courtney
Best place to go for a treat! The food is absolutely divine, a bit pricey but you 100% get your money’s worth. The service is probably the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend their chowders, definitely will need take aways as they are very large!

Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon here with my family .

Because there’s a huge playing area ,the place is a mini crùche. Wouldn’t advise people who don’t like kids at restaurants to come here . The place is really spacious and has various seating areas ,which also means it gets pretty full . The decor is minimal and isn’t really co-ordinated . There was a shark and a random potato sack ,hanging from the ceiling . Didn’t really get that . There’s also a “park like area” for kids or anybody else ,to hang out on . Its really beautiful and relaxing there .

The service isn’t too great,we had different waiters throughout our meal . They took too long to come check on us but the manager did come to every table ,to make sure everything is fine .
The flies were the biggest problem ,they first put that lamp thing which was quite effective . Then they came with a scented incense sort of thing ,the smoke kept blowing in our faces . We moved it a couple of times and it was just annoying .

I ordered the 500g ribs that were on special ,along with a passion fruit and lemonade . The presentation of the food was quite messy .The ribs were really juicy and succulent on the sides . But pretty dry in the middle . I really did appreciate that the sauce wasn’t too sweet .They weren’t the best ribs I’ve ever had but they were decent .

It’s an overall okay place but I wouldn’t come here if I was in the mood for fine dining . It’s also especially ideal for families .

Unfortunately, the service was terrible and always had to get up to call for a waiter. Portions are average as was the taste. The billing issue was a disaster. My expectations were not meet. Also need to add that almost everyone seated outside was smoking in a non-smoking establishment.
Thomas William Murray
The food took 50mins to prepare. The waiters had some political argument about racism.
Very unpleasant experience.
Don't come here if you want good food in a reasonable time.
Devesh Harinarian Mahabeer
The service was very bad, we waited over an hour for our food and when it arrived it was cold. The quality of the food was not very high. The waiter and manager did not seem to care when we complained. A very disappointing experience.
Andrew
Ok....so we have been waiting 50 minutes for our main meals to arrive and still waiting. Told by waiter 15 minutes ago it was 2 minutes away. Not quiet. Waiters taking food to wrong tables, 2 client complaints around us for food issues. Have not been here for a while and will be a while before I come back. Unacceptable service...no apology or explanation. Kitchen clearly incapable of handling the size of restaurant. Sorry Crawdaddy's this is unprofessional and exceptionally poor service
Lianri Swanepoel Maritz
Huge menu. So much to choose from and everything sounds delicious.

We decided to order some starters to share. The starter portion is really big and can easily be ordered as a main.

The food was very tasty and not pricey at all.
Service was good.
The tables cloths could do with a good wipe or even a wash, it was a bit sticky.

End of a 40th party

Had a splendid day at Farm Inn with the friends and family with a wonderful safari drive at sunset. The establishment is great for families, but the weather was showing signs of rain and we decided to continue the celebration somewhere indoors that has kids entertainment and obviously a place with good food. We ended up at Crawdaddy's in Lynnwood and a good choice it was! The food was absolutely delicious!! Being from JHB and not having 1 close in my area seems to be a bit unfair. The service was excellent and the waiters were amazing looking out and playing with my 2 year old son. I strongly recommend if you love poultry, the PEMBA style chicken was off the hook!! My husband and I still tossed a coin the next day on who will have the last leftover piece. I say this without shame because when food is good and service compliments the experience, I feel obligated to share the experience. As customers we don't always receive the service we deserve and we walk away feeling disappointed, but we should speak up or compliment when it is due. Good job staff and keep it up!! after all, that is 1 of the main ingredients to a great formula in service!

We went there the 29th of October in the afternoon for lunch with family... The food was delicious as always...service was great...halfway through our lunch a lady started singing...her speakers were one table away from us on the deck, and we couldnt even hear each other talk...I asked the manager to put it a bit softer or turn the speaker and first he wanted to move us...we were there first on a booking I made...then he said he cant ask her to stop...we didnt ask for the music to stop, she was very good...just turn the music down...or move the music...we had to scream at each other if we wanted to talk throughout our lunch. So note to anyone wanting to book in future if you want a nice famliy lunch or dinner...just ask where the entertainer will be placed and book at the other side of the restaurant...

We came from Nelspruit to centurion and felt like eating Thai food but they did not have a soup my wife wanted. As she was on a special medical liquid (mainly water) diet for the day and being 8pm, I popped in next door at crawdaddy's to ask them for any soup.

The gentleman Casper at the door immediately told me that he will prepare the soup exactly the way we want it and with only the ingredients we need as per the doctor's instructions.

This is exceptional service because we did not come to the restaurant to eat so they were not obligated to assist nor prepare something that is not in the menu.

The soup was excellent and the service sincerely appreciated.

Thanks Casper and God bless.

Saturday night, birthday vibes and family get together. Sitting down at Crawdaddy's at InShere complex, the first thing i notice is the wonderful ambience of old school rnb music which took me back to my youth days, sweet melodies in my ears. Also, for winter times, there are gas heaters as well as filament heaters to warm you up.For summer time there is a type of canvas that can be lifted up fo fresh air.

The venue is well presented inside, although tables are too closely spaced, easily disturbing neighbours in tables next to you. We were alot of people in a corner table which was also a little awkward moving in and out from the chairs in the corners.

For starters we had curmbed mushrooms as well as squid heads and rice. The crumbed mushrooms were cooked to perfection with three dipping sauces to go with in a huge portion. Cream, tartar sauce,a type of sweet chilli sauce which goes well when mixed with the cream. My husband really enjoyed his squid heads, he had it grilled, although i would like it fried. Luckily you spoiled for choice here on either.

For mains i ordered myself and my son chicken schnitzel and cheese sauce/mushroom sauce and my husband rib and chicken combo. To drink, i had a hot chocolate and then a Pina Colada. While hubby had some local craft beers.

The chicken schnitzel on the two plates varied alot in size and the sauces were not enough to cover the entire schnitzel. I would say more sauce can be added to this dish and a more cheesier cheese sauce is needed. My chips were overcooked and there was still pits on the butternut as well as being very chunky. My Pina Colada had an ingredient missing, but the attentive waiter noticed my dissatisfaction and acted very quickly. The manager was there in a jiffy and made it for me again, this time it tasted just like a pina Colada should and i drank every sip.

My husbands chicken was undercooked but his ribs tasted awesome, juicy and the meat fell off the bone.
His beers were cold and tasty too.

This is a nice place to bring you kids as they have a very nice play area.My only suggestion would be to add barriers with a gate to the section where smaller kids could potentially dwell away from the area into the parking area,so that parents can leave their kids there and not worry that they go into the parking lot and get hurt. Another option would be to get one staff member to watch over the kids. I have been to many restaurants with this and it is very helpful and makes it easier for parents to have a relaxing evening out while kids have fun.

All in all, with a few tweeks here and there this place definitely has potential.Lots to choose from on the menu, helpful staff, nice ambience and kiddie friendly. Will be back and hope to see some changes with the under and over cooked food.
We are quite loyal to the crawdaddy's franchise but we won't be back to the lynwood/silverlakes branch. Today was our second time back and same as the first time, the service was poor. We waited too long for our food and had to look for the waiter everytime we wanted to order drinks. It was disappointing.
Mona Makwakwa
Crawdaddys is such a chilled restaurant, love the options they have on the menu, i must say it really accommodates different palates. Dined there with a friend of mine and we didn't make a reservation 🙈 but we were accommodated none the less. This establishment gets awe fully packed but the service is so great, I really commend the staff for being able to pick up the pace when it's busy.

The food and service at this establishment is đŸ‘đŸœđŸ‘Œ

Booked a table for Friday night, it was a good thing I did as they were very busy. Our server Chris was very attentive. You did a great job with all of our demands. A few critiques. No salt and pepper on the table. Tables are way to close for comfort, I found myself moving my chair multiple times as the servers move in between the tables. I also had to duck as plate almost hit my head. Food is over priced, the quality of my steak, full of sinew was not worth the price tag. My mom didn't enjoy her ribs which were very dry and lacked flavour. My dad enjoyed his t-bone cooked medium. Would not return, this branch needs a lot of work in the kitchen. Front of house staff are very friendly though.
Anton Labuschagne
Food served cold😟, plates are cold. This is not the first time we have had to send food back. On a previous occasion the starter was served with the mains.
Manu Varghese
Went there for dinner last week. Lovely food and wine. Ordered filler steak with peri peri sauce. Absolutely gorgeous. Hermanuspietersfontein was our choice for wine. Their wine collection is great as well.
Stefan Schrage
Book your table in advance because there's a reason why they're always busy. Food is awesome and never disappoints... meat done to perfection.. wine selection is also adequate for all tastes.. was in the mood for a good old favorite.. snails in garlic sauce.. their new starter Craw Chow was huge!! Friendly staff and very helpful.. good work guys!!!
Lezandi Fourie
HUGE portions, so you better starve yourself a little before going. Our waiter was so positive and friendly, it really added to the experience. The decor alone is enough to keep you entertained, from fishing nets haning from the roof to posters illustrating the different cuts of meat from beef to crab. I will definitely be visiting again.

Used to come here regularly. Service & food quality not what it used to be. My Wife loves the Salmon salad, it is the best value for money in Pretoria. However when you ask for no onions you mean it! Rest of us were nearly finished eating when the correct salad arrived. They did comp a dessert for her though.
Marcia Barron
First experience were definitely not a great first impression, the waiter took us to a dirty table and failed to clean it properly, there were still food splattered on the canvas. Food was not great. Second try, I ordered Salmon on ciabatta wich were very old. The manager then actually came to the table and argued with me that it's fresh. He then brought me a new plate with bread that apparently arrived that morning, it was better than the first dish, but needless to say, not a very inviting experience. Another bother is staff standing in groups on the stairs chatting so loud that it's distracting to your own conversation. Not a fan.
Dirtdiver
Nice vibe. Service was very quick and effective even though it was busy. Word to the weightconcious.. portions are large, including the starters - the peri peri chicken livers were the bomb. Like Schwarzenegger, "I'll be back"
Lorraine
I have to commend our waitress, Agnes. What a lovely girl, she made our evening extra special with her friendly smile. The food was as always delicious. The only reason for me deducting marks is because I have ordered a medium steak, and I receiced it at the table, medium-rare. I did not send it back as I did not want to spoil the evening but it was very difficult with the blood in my plate. I will definitely visit again.

Situated at In Shere on Lynnwood Road, it is perfectly located.
As usual I ordered steak - rump with chips. The chips could do with a bit of flavour, they appeared so dry on my plate. The steak though, delicious.
I had a taste of the Chicken and Prawn Chowder. Heavenly. Flavours were just right and the heat level was on point.
Service was touch and go from our waiter, at times we had to look for him to order.
The menu has a huge variety so there is a meal for every taste bud.
The restaurant reminds me of a modern Spur. They have a lovely play area for children and parents can host kids parties there therefore it is very child friendly just not during rainy weather.
Michael Oosthuizen
Not nearly as good as the ORIGINAL Crawdaddy's. Ridiculously over priced, very disappointing food. We have been here twice and have left disappointed both times. The last time we actually didn't even eat our food, we asked for the bill, paid and left. (the manager did come and apologise)
Eshwar Andhavarapu
Always good here and this coffee milkshake is no exception! It's been a while. Missing my dear foodie wife Suchismita Simhadri here today :( would give it even a 4.5 on some days ;)

Crawdaddy's is the type of restaurant that you crave in winter, specially. Their hearty curry's and chowders are always winners. I have frequented the brooklyn and garsfontein branch's and have always had a pleasant experience.

The decor is very interesting and pleasing to the eye. The waiter we had was excellent, although the food did take a while, he was always checking on us. I have been to this one before and didn't really have a great meal, so I thought I would give it another chance.

We went to Crawdaddys for lunch on a cold sunday afternoon. It was relatively busy, but we managed to get a good table. I ordered the snails for starters and my parter ordered the melanzane and my friends the boveril and biltong bruschetta.

My first mouthful of my snails was disgusting. There was so much sand or grit or something that I had crunched into, it was terrible. After spitting that out into my napkin and trying to wash it away with my juice, I was reluctant to try another piece, but I did, and it was much better. The garlic sauce that it came in was good and the cheese was nice and melty. It was accompanied by 3 large chunks of brown bread which was nice. Everyone else said that their starters were delicious

I ordered the calamari and prawn chower for mains and my partner and friends all ordered the chicken curry. My chowder was delicious, but not as good as the other branches I have eaten it at. It was very spicy, but like in a raw spice kind of way, because I love hot food, but this tasted as of they had just thrown in some curry powder at the end. It also lacked salt and just the depth of flavour that the other branches seem to have. It was delicious though. The seafood was good and the rice and veg I had as sides (although cold) were good too.

Everyone else enjoyed their chicken curry's, although they did say that the chili bites that came with their meals were cold and extremely dense.

I will return to this crawdaddy's, I belive they can do better, but I would prefer to go to the other branches before I choose this one.
Suchismita Simhadri
Love this place!! Awesome ambience and food too. Their chicken strips and prawns are delicious. Even tried crumbed mushrooms which were also good. The experience was good enough . Overall I like the option of chicken strips and prawns. Worth trying the place
Charmaine Ehlers
Lovely venue! Very kids friendly. But no kiddies menu. Bad service. Waited forever for drinks and more than an hour for our food. Food wasn't up to scratch. Cocktails were good. We booked a table, got a horrible table on the patio outside. Very cramped. Won't be going back.
Nita Ristić
Play area, which is essential if you have a child like me. Service has always been good to me. 4 stars for the food, huge portions. Can be extremely busy so reservations are needed if you want to sit close to play area.
Moroccan beef strips are delicious , so is the prawn curry. There are a lot of options on the menu which I like if I go to a place a lot.
Cecilé Cloete
Wow such a great atmosphere. We had probably one of the best waiters in town. He's very competent and definitely loves his job. He really contributed to us having a great time. In terms of the food...my parents were very happy with their food and enjoyed it a lot. I didn't enjoy mine that much, but I wouldn't say it was terrible. I will definitely go again and try something different next time around.
James Marsh
This is a new Crawdaddys that opened up next to Lynwood road. Always busy and sometimes hard to get a table! But the food we were served was solid, tasty pub food! Classic flavours and prepared to our liking!
Christie Hepke
Warning!!!! Come hungry! We had such a great evening here last night! The setting is great.. With a wonderful play area for the little ones! We shared a bunch of starters and it was so big ( and really tasty) that we all ordered more starters for mains... Will definitely return!
Tanja Horn
Finally popped in unexpectedly for a quick bite to eat after work. We've been meaning to go for ages, but usually only try and go late on Fridays when they are full.Managers and staff are very friendly, vibe is nice, overall a very cool place. The boyfriend had the cheese burger and I went for ribs since I've been craving it like mad. We also ordered a plate of onion rings to share.I really enjoyed the onion rings. The ribs weren't bad, fall off the bone meat. I found the taste a little strange, but generally quite hard to please when it comes to ribs. Boyfriend enjoyed the burger.I also had the Turkish Delight milkshake which i thought was delicious.Next time I'll definitely try the snails - saw a few plates and they looked fantastic.I will go back for steak next time though :)
Amé Du Toit
The food is great but the service is the reason I don't rate it higher. I had the medium cheese, bacon and garlic bread, the Schnitzel of chicken with salad and Créme Brulée. Bf had Snails for a starter and Queen prawns with rice. We didn't wait too long for the food, but when the food arrived we didn't have cutlery yet. No finger bowl or additional wetwipes/serviettes for the prawns. We had to call our waiter to come check on us if we wanted something and for the bill. Overall the food and wine was good.

Crawdaddy's is a nice place, set on a awesome venue in Pta East.

Regrettably we didnt book a table, and got a horrible table outside, by the entrance.

Service was good!

Ordered a steak with sweet pepper, feta, etc, and for some reason I thought it was a sauce... It was veggies on top of the steak, and didnt do any justice, as the veggies didnt have good flavour.

I have always been a great fan of Crawdaddy's, after visiting the Silverlakes Crawdaddy's it has become clear why many people warned me against going there. The waiter who served us completely "forgot" some of the food orders which meant that some people had already finished eating by the time some of the other got prepared, given that the restaurant was not busy and the food took very long to prepare this was shocking. If you like Crawdaddy's, look for some of the other Franchises in the area which have always impressed.
Fritz's Snack Shack Review
So my Google search and Zomato search tells me to go to Grawdaddy's 4 seafood. I go to the new one and the end of Lynwood close to the Silverlakes turnoff at Hayzeldean Mall and CRC Church. It's a big place and its full but the guys get me a nice table on the veranda overlooking the children's play area under the cool spray. If you have kids this restaurant is G8 4 kids. So 4 startets I have the Melanzane, it's nice and tomatoei with a good melted cheese on top and the thin pizza base type bread mops the gravy nicely. For mains I have the Dorado Fillit it's soft and juicy. It comes with a thin but tasty creamy lemony sauce. Rice, the Spinach is just cooked and so fresh nearly crunchy very good. My second veggie is unusual, julienned cabbage, carrots, zucchini, onions stirfried with a sweetish flavour, stunning. For sweets I decide on the Peppermint Tart and Double Expresso. It came with Ice cream and a syrup and was very very sinfully good. The service was excellent despite being buzzy including checks by the Manager. My meal with a beer and a glass wine and the tip came to R320 worth it through and through!
Gary Durrant
This is my favourite crawdaddys! I had the sweet and sour ribs! They were amazing! The service is great and this place always seems to have a vibe!! Its been packed right from the start!
Carice De Jager
Crawdaddy's is always a winner when it comes to family dining and wanting to dig into some good hearty food. However, we waited about an hour for our meals to arrive, I have a feeling the kitchen suffers due toe overcrowding. Our food however was excellent and my brother managed to polish a 1kg rump!
Madelein Pardau
Crawdaddys is like home to me, the restaurant that keeps me coming back. When this branch opened, just had to try it! Its fresh with modern decor. The food was great as usual, apart from my seafood chowder which i feel was better the past times I'd had it at other branches! The people i was with thoroughly enjoyed their prawns and chicken flattie! I mist agree the prawns were phenomenal! The service was very quick even for a packed night and the waitor friendly. Will be back for round 2!
Jani Du Toit
I am a big Crawdaddy's fan, I love Crawdaddy's and I'm very serious about Crawdaddy's, knowing all the other franchises we didn't hesitate to come to this branch for dinner, for us finally a one closer to home!

I order the same 2 dishes everywhere, because it's my favorite. On this particular night I Ordered the Seafood chowder, unfortunately I was a little put down, not on standard and not as nice, my husband enjoyed his meal tremendously - he had the Kebab trio, he said it was delicious.

Our friends had the Louisiana platter and the kingklip, the one said the kingklip was amazing, it looked delicious, she had it with veggies.

Our waiter wasn't to excited to help us and when asked about the specials he had to keep going to double check the prices and the dishes, he took really long with the drinks and didn't really serve us in a respecteful manner, leaning on chairs as he spoke to us, not looking to interested in helping us. This was unfortunate as it put a damper on everything ells that was nice...

Not sure if we will attend here again, going out for us is alot of money to end up not having a great time.
Andriette Keyser
Amazing food with excellent service and very good and efficient waiters. Great family restaurant with a supervised children's play area. It is a good idea to book though, especially if you want to sit outside.
Lani Loves Good Food
Great vibe, busy restaurant. Funky decor. Go early or book a table. Restaurant is huge, with big kiddies play area outside. Very baby friendly. Great service from staff and floor managers. The food was good. Crumbed mushroom starter wad quite a big portion and ended up sharing with hubby. His chicken livers were tasty, but quite spicy!
For mains I had a steak which was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately they char - grill the meat, which I am not a fan of. I failed to read this in the menu. Not sure if mentioned anywhere. Husband's clam chowder was tasty, but quite the activity meal with apron, nutcracker and all. Good meal and experience.
Arne Swanepoel
As mentioned in many reviews, it is important to book as they do not have a quite night in the week. I always recommend Crawdaddy's to people because I used to work there and know in what kind of environment the food is prepared as well the high standard they uphold for their food. I would not be able to recommend only one dish but will say that they have a menu that would satisfy the carnivore, sea food lover as well as poultry enthusiast.
Micaela Sinclair-Black
The food is unbelievably good and the service is always friendly. Crawdaddys is a must try for anyone looking for a great place for an anniversary or just a special meal with someone you love. The atmosphere is a bar vibe for the men and the food is top quality for the women. Once you have tried Crawdaddys you will be hard pressed to find the same quality for the price range anywhere else.
Astrid Meyer
The service was really good with friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious. Has some interesting decor and a cool vibe. will definitely go back.
Ayanda
Pathetic!!! We just arrived at crawdaddys after all the great reviews we've received and from the moment I walked in I felt like I was an intruder. The waiter we had told us he had a table for us and the manager then told him that the table was reserved for other people, from that moment the waiter was really ready to seat us but the manager was just firm on not letting us in letting us know they were fully booked, that I completely understand but there is a nice way of letting people know you are fully booked. We ended up leaving and going to another restaurant. NEVER AGAIN!
Riani Deacon
Great service! Loved the food and friendly staff. The vibe is festive and relaxed Would go back anytime :) The food was prepared fast and still tasteful Great job
Germa Beukes
Extremely busy, huge restaurant. Book in advance. Beautiful interior. Trusted menu, something for everyone. Almost too many choices, all the more reason to go back. Great vibe. Friendly well-trained staff.

Feel as if this Craw Daddies is not living up to the standard of the Menlyn or Brooklyn branch. One of the managers were rude and the food were not up to standard.

Usually their prawns (by far my favorite prawns in town) are succulent and soft, these were slightly over cooked, the chips were not the usually crispy chips and the cream spinach was not creamy.

The waiter was friendly yet never to be seen, we would order a few bottles of wine for 7 people and he would bring 6 glasses. So the service weren't great.

All and all it was not a truly warm Craw Daddy experience, not my worst dinning experience EVER but like i said definitely not up to Craw Daddy's standards.
Patrick
Nice to see a new place to eat in the east. From starters to dessert, the food was fantastic. Service could be slightly improved but I must admit they were extremely busy. Nice kiddies area to keep them busy while the adults can relax. Overall experience was very pleasant. Definitely will visit them again.
Jimmy Nicolaou
Probably the busiest restaurant I've ever been to, especially on a Wednesday evening. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, but it was worth it.
Our waiter was friendly and competent. Despite how busy it was, the food arrived in good time.
Both the plain basted Spare Ribs and the Sweet Sticky Ribs were delicious. There was, however, a bit too much cartilage and fat on them.
Ended off with a nicely made Kahlua coffee.
It would be great if they could open a Crawdaddy's closer to home in Joburg 👍
Marnus Erasmus
One has become accustomed to the service standards and food quality one can expect at a Crawdaddy's franchise, but this particular one blew us away despite expectations. We had a wonderful time with fantastic service and some of the best food we have had to date at any restaurant we have been to in the Gauteng region. An absolute MUST!!!
