Review Ed's Diner - Pretoria

Great diner/bar. It consist of 3 floors with the ground and middle floor being a diner style restaurant and the top floor has a bar area and general restaurant. The burgers are great and I can also recommend the platters. It can get very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings. The place is very popular among students.

The burgers are great. The top floor is a mixed diner / pub and is great to spwns times with friends. The bottom and middle floor is more like a diner with great burgers and milkshakes. They also serve other food like Pizza, ribs etc. It gets very busy over wekends in the evenings so make a booking to avoid dissapointment.

I absolutely loved Eds diner! This spot has a very cool unique feel. There is a wide menu. The burgers and pizza are delicious. Some nights they have two for one drink specials. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Great spot!!

The atmosphere there is so incredibly friendly. I love going there and having a cocktail with friends. Especially the 2 for one special. The waiters are friendly and really helpful. The food there are amazing as well. I truly enjoy their pizzas and you can even build your own pizza with the toppings that you desire. I've also had their wrap wich was out of this world. Their side veggies are to die for. Its a great place to have a family lunch. We went there and they loved each moment thereof. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Or if you want a fun night out with your friends it's also a great place for that. I was also shocked at the size of their cocktails and it tasted just as good as it looked. We sat outside on the balcony and there you have a great fresh breath of air. The moon that nigt was impeccable. Ot wanted you to see it. The music isnt that loud so you can talk to each other. But silent moments aren't that awkward because you can still appreciate the songs. The decor blew me away. It was so lively and had an old style wich we adore. I just want to say thank you for such a great experience. And i highly suggest you go check it out for yourself. You'll miss out on the taste of the food if you dont go.

The burgers are truly something to watch out for. What you get is better priced, and bigger in portion than the other Burger restaurants. Take the 250g patty to see what a real burger is supposed to taste like. The shakes.. cant beat those shakes.

Established place with an amazing classic and retro feel. Delicious variety of cocktails with legendary burgers. One of the best happy hour spots in Pretoria East. Highly recommend!

Best burgers in town, great atmosphere

This restaurant deserves 6 stars. The food, the music, the service, and the ambience is absolutely amazing. I ordered the sliders for R200 and it was 100% worth the money. The beef patties were moist, the greens and tomatos were fresh, and the sauces on the burgers were homemade (👏👏). I also ordered fries on the side, which was a generous portion. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, as they should be. The service was very professional and friendly. 15 minutes after I placed my order, my food was at the table. The music they play are from my favourite music era, the 70's and 80's. It wasn't too loud, and not too soft. We could still hear each other around the table, but we could still enjoy the music. The restaurants decor looks like the Old American diner's we see in movies, very aesthetically pleasing. All round very good experience. I will definitely be going again.

Huge range of pizzas, burgers and delicious milkshakes and cocktails. Decorated as 50s style diner, great service. Fun place to eat. They have a happy hour 2 for 1 cocktail special & don't warn you! Order one & you get two!

The whole feel of this restaurant is so cool. It has the retro vibe and the portion sizes are huge! They have an awesome milkshake that is pretty much 2 milkshakes in one. They are a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for.

The cocktail special is a winner in every way! We also enjoyed the food! Good value for money meals and great staff. Their milkshakes are amazing as well! Loads to choose from.
