We had a great time! We decided to celebrate our anniversary there and the Col'Cacchio's team made it extra special. Thank you so much, can't wait to go back!

Good food. Perks of this restaurant are its attentive waiters, live music, and a kids' play area.

This place shares a very popular restaurant location in Brooklyn Mall. The restaurant itself offers inside and outdoor dining, but with the current temperatures we sat indoors. The service was friendly but not overall effective. The server had to be reminded a few times of things we've had asked for. I asked for the zucchini pasta with seafood and my friend for the seafood linguini . Both dishes were nicely prepared and very tasty. The food was good. However, the restaurant itself isn't bright or cheerful, maybe it's due for a revamp. Prices are reasonable.

The food here was so good and filling. The atmosphere was very lovely and relaxing. Meme, our waitress, was an absolute angel who was patient with us and she made the experience worthwhile. would definitely recommend. 🤍

I wish i knew the name of the gentleman who served me, he was so welcoming and friendly, he gave me recommendations for the meal and I took his advice and enjoyed a well prepared delicious meal. Will definitely visit again to try other options on the menu as the food was delicious.

We stopped by on a Sunday evening after watching a movie at the mall. It was late and there were not many people around but the staff were welcoming and incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I love Pizza and was pleased to find an option where they cut a hole in the middle of the pizza (still delicious - just a little less quantity) and fill the gap with a delicious salad. My son went for the full pizza option and it was delicious. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

We had a very nice pizza, Cabernet S. wine and the best waitress Thandeka who was very helpful and kind. 🥂👍🏻

It was my friend's 21st birthday dinner. The pizza I ordered was delicious (peperoncino). The service was amazing and they even gave my friend the passion fruit mousse on the house for her birthday. It's my favourite dessert now. Hilda was an amazing waitress.

I've been here a couple of times located in Brooklyn Square it has great outdoor seating close to the kids' play area and easy access to Brooklyn mall. The restaurant has a good menu, and the meals are very well prepared and cut above the rest, to be honest. Bang for buck is good with a dinner for 6 coming to just over a grand.

I've had a lovely wooden fire pizza made at col'cacchio.Thanks to our waiter sabelo for such a lovely welcome n made sure we get everything we needed. Such a good hearted waiter

Had the best experience all thanks to Sabelo for being a welcoming waiter,even when I was undecided in what to get he recommended I should try the pasta and it was delicious best pasta ever and my god the cocktail was so out of this world I highly appreciate your service Sabelo

We had a fantastic time at the restaurant. The ambiance is warm and family-friendly . Hilda, our waitress, was attentive and offered us an excellent recommendation. It was nice to see the waitresses working together to ensure that we were well taken care of.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Col'caccio Brklyn, and I must say that the service provided by our waitress Ntombie was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel welcome. Throughout the entire meal, she was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring my dining experience was top-notch. Not only did the waitress deliver our orders promptly, but she also took the time to explain the customers favorites and recommend delicious menu options. I recently dined at Colcaccio and had a fantastic experience with the waiter. Their friendly and attentive service truly added to the overall enjoyment of my meal, her knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate my dietary preferences made me feel valued as a customer. I appreciate their positive attitude and excellent customer service skills. We came there yesterday with my friends we had a wonderful pizza and blue cheese pasta the waiter Sibo Mbali suggested for us it was so wonderful and she is so friendly and welcoming. On my next visit will do love her to serve us again she is a magic woman

I have been to many Col'Cacchio restaurants. Its a good to place to eat lunch when I'm shopping. They normally are fairly good and you know what to expect. This one however was great.<br/><br/>The service was excellent 4/5. The waitron knew the menu, he politely asked if we would like to order more drinks etc when glasses were emptied and did all the right things at the right time that waitrons do.<br/><br/>The atmosphere is great 4/5. We sat outside at brooklyn square watching people walk past busy with their daily activities. There was enough shade and breeze to make it a pleasant experience.<br/><br/>I ordered a butter chicken for my mains. They nailed the flavour perfectly and the crispy onion gave it amazing texture. The butter chicken sauce was thick to stop it from running or dripping. The base of the pizza was perfectly baked. It was thin and crisp. Its was a great meal. This gets a 5/5.<br/><br/>Overall, it was a great experience and I'll be back if i find myself in thar area.

I love visiting Col’Cacchio! They are the only place in Pretoria where vegans, omnivores, gluten-free, and kids can all dine together! Simply delicious food, and always a great vibe.

Never again .<br/>We wanted to have lunch today and was asked where we wanted to sit. Bear in mind there was only to other tables occupied at the time, so my partner said he wanted to sit in one of the booths. This terrible waiter then told us we are not allowed as it's a "big table". Probably just too damn lazy to clear the other 4 sertings. We then walked out since our money is clearly not good enough .

As much as I dislike Mall's I do visit them from time to time to be in touch with reality and see what other people look like and how they function in reality.<br/><br/>Warning! They revamping this Mall, so if my review is still here in a year, please be advised I'm scripting this review on the 17 November 2017, construction might be done when you visit Brooklyn Mall.<br/><br/>Brooklyn Mall is my favorite mall, it's not a square or rectangle, it has no defined shape, it's just there.<br/>It's different, it just flows and this Mall has character... each section having a unique feel to it.<br/><br/>The restaurants wow, also just right not too many.<br/>Sitting immediately ... I must share this with you, it's a natural question for me to ask upon sitting down, "What are your specials?"<br/>Even if I already know what I want, I just would like to hear their specials. Price could change my mind, oh the dish could change my mind...oops.<br/><br/>So their special is, and I think it's Tuesday's only.<br/>Standard pizza for R25'00 (Margherita).<br/>R25'00 that is twenty five rands only!<br/><br/>So we order 2(friend and I). No sharing allowed on this special and to be honest that makes sense.<br/>Did I mention they have a special on a margaritas?<br/><br/>Apparently it's the pizza and the cocktail drink!<br/>So, 2 hours later! 2 human's 11 Margaritas done!!!<br/>No questions asked.<br/><br/>Fortunately you allowed to take the remaining pizza straight home as a "doggy bag".<br/>Their are apparently plenty of specials going on at Col'Cacchio...best you check them out or easy.<br/>Lol check out my next review.....<br/><br/>To be honest, for R25'00 that pizza is a give-away , it was fantastic. I don't understand why the food is good when you sit at the restaurant and eat but when you order take aways it's always so terrible. Prawns overcooked, no salt, even found a hair in my pasta I mean why not keep up the good food whether it's to eat there or take away??? So disappointed!!

Comforting to note that after the revamp our favourite place is back up to standard! Focaccia and pizza absolutely spot on! Colleagues loved their meals! Team lunch well spent! Thank you to Boipelo for taking good care of us... our meals are incredibly important to our team chill sessions and you did not disappoint!

Came here for a dinner date with a friend and we ordered the half and half - the Moghul and the Smokey babe. The smokey babe was fresh and full of flavor. The moghul was definitely my favorite, it was a butter chicken pizza and tasted just as good as normal butter chicken, creamy, not too spicy and mouth watering! All the flavors were spot on.<br/>This is a great place to catch up with friends over a glass of wine and good food. The setting is equally romantic for a date night with bae. The service is good, our waitress was friendly, warm and attentive. I will definitely be back to try out the pasta and dessert. 👌

Great evening. Pizzas were very good. Banting option also yummy. Excellent considering they were quite busy with Monday special. Lovely staff- friendly, helpful and pleasant.

Col'Cacchio in Brooklyn is situated in the center with other restaurants like MooMoo and Ocean Basket. It is next to the play area. Good for families, but if you want to sit outside, it can become quite noisy. <br/><br/>As with other restaurants in this chain, the food is really good. They have a comprehensive menu with something for everyone. Even chocolate pizza.....😁<br/><br/>The service was friendly and good. Bongi was attentive and new his stuff. <br/><br/>Overall a good experience.

I'm loving Col'Cacchio's new lunch time specials.<br/><br/>I recently had the lentil salad. It was healthy and tasty. Their salads are as good as their pizzas.<br/><br/>Service was good.<br/><br/>Will be back!!!

Yes I rated them 4,5 because I enjoy the food here so so so much. The nacho libre pizza seems to appeal to my partner, however, what gets me in my happy spot time and time and time over again is the fungi Bianco pasta! A creamy pepper sauce mushroom pasta which just seems to have the right amount of just about everything. I sit there and treat myself to every bite coupled with my merlot and I'm the happiest in the world. Please please try it. What's really good is the mac and cheese which is exclusively served to this franchise..

I must say this is a very nice branch. The staff is friendly and make you feel very welcome. I had a coffee milkshake which was delicious! The pizza is great, I love that you have an option of wheat- and gluten-free. The base is thin and crispy and the toppings good quality. Yum!

The pizzas here are my favourite even though they tend to be abit pricey. Service is quick and waiters are friendly. The chocolate brownie is to die for but is also steeply priced at R50!

I always enjoy the vegetarian pizzas at this col'cacchio. Their ortigiano is by far the best compared to the store in centurion mall and benmore. Thin crunchy base loaded with lots of veggies! Their pomrodoro with penne is also delicious!

Great pizza! I love their concept of half and half. It's so hard to decide on only one when the options are so great. Their waiters were full of smiles and laughter, it was a great atmosphere to be around.

Had a lovely girls night out filled with amazing pizza, terramisu, wine AND cocktails! I love all of Col'Cacchio's unique flavour combinations and you definately get what you pay for. If you are a pizza fanatic, then this is the pizzeria for you.

Col'Cacchio's is such a treat. Quick, friendly service and tasty food. Unfortunately the pizzas are quite pricey, but they are delicious!<br/><br/>I had pizza with spinach, bacon, avo and feta which is one of my favorite combinations! The base was lovely and thin and it was really enjoyable.

One of my fave franchises when it comes to pizza ... The moghul is my absolute fave. The pastas are good while i have had a few of them the pizzas are best on the menu...

Really enjoyed dinner here. We tried the nacho libre pizza and gosh it was really good hey, like spread the guacamole on the pizza and just enjoy.. It was really good, paired with a lovely wine, Oh yes!! :) <br/><br/>The spicotta pizza was okaaaayish, my friends seemed to enjoy this pizza tho.. The Funghi Bianco pasta was okay. We had salads and what perfect portion and perfect taste, I'm so pleased to find a restaurant that uses quality salad and ingredients. Price is fair.

Popped in there last week Wednesday at around 20.30, there where not a lot of people eating there, must have been Wednesday blues. Service was fast and effective and the waiter very helpful, while the rest watched soccer on the TV which did not help the atmosphere. The pizza and antipasti that we ordered between us was fresh and very tasty, the pizza bread serves with some of the dishes fresh and tasty. The International visitors that accompanied mentioned the food etc. was very good but the vibe could have been better.

I am actually extremely disappointed with the way Col'Cacchio is deteriorating! Despite their 6% food price increase for the Banting menu, their portion sizes have seemed to have decreased! My Banting pizza last night was about 1/3 smaller than usual. The service and quality of this place is continually going downhill every time I come here, which is unfortunate as it used to be my favourite.

Hadn't visited Col'Cacchio in some time and found my lunch experience there today disappointing. Whilst my food was certainly passable, the service was not fantastic. Despite the restaurant being reasonably empty, I was seated at probably the worst table in the house, squashed up next to the bar and the wine cabinet. My waiter, although not overly pushy, did seem to trying to get me to spend more money, when I quite clearly knew what I wanted. This is not the kind of service I appreciate.

As I have said about any Col Cocchios, absolutely stunning! Again, the same wonderful, efficient service and an outstanding food quality! So my friend and I were meeting up with a large group of girlfriends for a girls night and we weren't that hungry so we ordered halfies. I order my favorite, the La Zizou , which is a lamb stew pizza that I would recommend to absolutely everybody!!! The flavors are impeccable and the presentation is both stunning, neat and consistent throughout the branches. Our waiter was helpful and efficient and the vibe was sociable and lovely! Than you for another pleasant experience!

This is my & my mother's go-to spot on a Sunday afternoon. My son gets to play on the little jungle gym out front & we indulge in stylized pizzas and almost unforgivable amounts of red wine (read as just one bottle shared between us). On a good day, I'll even get her to try a cocktail😄. I think the Col'cacchio brand speaks for itself & my mom (who is a committed lover of all things Italian, cuisine included) particularly enjoys it because she says 'it's the only place that serves pizza as close to what you actually get in Italy'. Me? I just love pizza. Not so much Italian cuisine as a whole & I love that their pizzas are inspired, out of the box creations & thin-crusted. People, Roman's Pizza's thick crust is NOT how pizza was intended to be served. Debonairs' drizzling sweet sauce on everything is NOT how pizza is supposed to taste. I will only visit these places when I'm with my son in tow or am with people for whom the amount of dough is more important than the toppings themselves. <br/><br/>I love their kiddies menu too. The spaghetti bolognaise is always a good serving for my often 'reluctant to eat' child. And they have some 'interesting' Italian dessert options not all of which are winners unfortunately. But for main meals, drinks, pizzas & salads, yes, yes, yes! Oh and they do have great service too😄. Knowledgeable, efficient & friendly! After Tasha's, this is my next favourite restaurant at Brooklyn Design Square. And third on the list is Mythos.

When we arrived without a booking we had to wait for a table, which we actually enjoyed because we sat at the bar and wine selection was great and bartenders were very friendly. Pizza was great.. Really enjoyed the night, manager was also on hand and very attentive! Highly recommend

Had drinks and dinner here before a premiere one night. The vegetarian pizza was absolutely divine - even the meat eaters had a bite or three! Good wine, warm interior and a very warm atmosphere. The service was alright, not the best, but acceptable. Had a salad on a previous occasion that was also lovely. All in all, a reliable place to go to.

I am a huge fan of this place. Their food is great. Their pizza's are a little bit pricy but you get more than what you pay for in taste and their salads are even better. It's the one and only place I crave for a salad at.

I'm going to be honest in the nicest way possible. I haven't eaten here for years because we had a bad experience. So I decided to give it another chance. The table was dirty. One of the chairs had food residue on it. Not a great way to start. <br/>My daughter and I weren't too hungry, so ordered a pizza to share. Sadly, the pizza dough wasn't thoroughly cooked. It was still soggy and only crispy on the edges. Our waiter-Tsepho was amazing though. Unfortunately I won't eat here again. Two bad experiences in several years...Not worth my R200.

This is a good restaurant for a good night out with friends. The restaurant has a very large menu which can be a bit off putting. However the cheesecake is amazing. Quite easily the best I've had, a pity the portion was so small.

We had a family dinner last night there and I decided to go for a pizza, the moritori. I am not a big fan of avo and asked to have it without, unfortunatly the waiter mixed up this request and brougt a pizza without red pepper. Luckily it was quickly corrected and I was munching away. The crust was nice and thin and the toppings fresh and tasty. The manager also made a pass and he was friendly and made sure we were having a good dinner. I also had the the caramel pop for dessert which is a salted caramel popcorn with ice cream. This was a great combination that I will surely do again. All in all a great place with good food that will see me again.

I am a big fan of the Col'Cacchio chain and thought I would try something different from the menu: Banting pizza.<br/><br/>Not even remotely tasty! <br/>I have heard that banting pizza has a crisp tasty base; not the case here. A soggy base with the consistency of wet cardboard and a bland taste despite the additional basil leaves I ordered. A dash of balsamic vinegar improved it slightly.<br/>From here on out I will remain a "carbs" gal. <br/>The pizza was however, accompanied by a very tasty salad, I almost wanted to request a 2nd portion. Boiled eggs, a good variety of leaves and a lovely dressing - it made up in part for the pizza.<br/><br/>The berry and cherry sangria is always a winner and I particularly enjoyed it this evening.<br/><br/>The restaurant is nicely decorated and staff are very friendly, so I am sure I will be back, but I will be sticking to the pizza or pasta.

A default place to go to if you feeling like italian food. Have been here numerous times and I am a pizza pasta girl so never been disappointed. They have a nice variety and its definitely gourmet compared to take away pizzas. Although it def taste just as good the next morning for leftovers. Staff are always friendly and accomodate for the vegan and gluten, wheat people generally in our party.

Col'Cacchio is a fairly standard "gourmet" chain Italian restaurant, the food is good, but service and atmosphere are distinctly average. <br/><br/>I have visited the Col'Cacchio at Brooklyn on a number of occasions and the food (usually pizza) has been delicious, I can really recommend the Pizza with de-boned Asian ribs. <br/><br/>I have had a few issues with the service, in particular, getting your waiters attention is a tricky business and you should make sure you order all the drinks you may want with your food.  If the restaurant is busy and you order a glass of wine, you can expect it to be served in a hot glass straight from being washed.  <br/><br/>One should also note that if your waiter asks if you would like a tomato base for a pizza that usually doesn't have one, he will charge you an extra R15 for this, despite the fact that it isn't mentioned anywhere on the menu.

My daughter from Cape Town came to visit. For Sunday Lunch she chose Col'Cacchio in Brooklyn Square. Now pizza for Sunday Lunch would not be our first choice, but it was chosen for the huge fresh salads they serve nowadays.<br/>On arrival we were wellcomed with smiles from the management and staff. The outside area was packed - and rightly so on a beautiful summer's day. There were lots of families: grown-ups with kids playing with pasta dough, adding to the Family Lunch Feel!<br/>For starters we had platters with flatbread. It was standard Mediteranean veg and preserved meat - fresh and tasty but nothing exciting. <br/>Col'cachio is primarily a pizza restautant, but recently more healthy salads were added to the menu. You can even have a pizza ring with a salad centre.<br/>I ordered my favourite pizza: one half Moghul (Indian Butter Chicken, Joghurt, crispy onion, mozarella and coriander) the other half Smokey Babe. (Asian deboned smoked pork rib, rosso onion, corn, mint,spring onion and coriander), The Smokey Babe half was good - creamy, crispy and crunchy, but the Moghul half dissapointed - it was dry.<br/>The salads are huge and mostly under dressed (unless stated otherwise). Balsamic vinegar and olive oil is available on the table.<br/>My husband had a Banana Split - fried banana, caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. It sounds good, but the bananas could have been fried a bit longer, they were not caramelised at all, the ice cream portion huge and soft-serve.<br/>Service was friendly and competent.<br/>All considered, a nice enough experience.

An excellent take on the previous dull and boring world of pizza. Col'Cacchio is a restaurant that has the spark of what a foodie longs for. Whilst serving seemingly ordinary food such as pizza and pasta, the restaurant offers vibrant new combinations that are great, tasty and value for money. The pizza I ordered had avocado on it and boy, was there a huge amount. <br/><br/>Hopefully when you visit it, you'll be lucky enough to be served by Friddah. So attentive, so kind. Not the biggest fan of franchise restaurants, but for Col'Cacchio I'll make an exception. On weekends, Brooklyn Mall is absolutely packed, so finding a seat at any restaurant is tricky.<br/><br/>Despite this, we came to Col'Cacchio and found a table. The service was good and surprisingly, given the number of people eating there, our food arrived very quickly.<br/><br/>Personally, I think their 'Moghul' pizza is amazing...I know it's curry on a pizza which seems a bit weird, but if you like both of those things you'll love this,

Dinner at Col Cacchio's always ends with our hand on our rounded bellies and our face baring a grin of satisfaction. The extensive menu ensures that there is something for every taste. The pizzas are as authentic as they come! Try 'The Moghul' if you love bold flavours. The 'Pollino Di verdure' and the 'Quattro Fromaggi' are also our favourites. And what's more, we enjoy the giggles of doodling on the paper covered table tops.
