Review Willow Feather Farm - Pretoria

This place is a gem. The entrance fee is well worth it for how beautifully maintained it is. I appreciated the bags of animal feed, wrapped according to animal. A lovely touch. The animals all look healthy, which is important to me personally. If you have a toddler, this is a must-visit. Multiple play areas scattered around the gardens, a soft-play area for the little ones and a beautiful lawn to play on. I can't wait to take my son back.

Always lovely at Willow Feather Farm. If there’s a shrub, tree, aloe or anything in between you’re looking for, they’ll probably have it. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and have lots of knowledge on all the plants and products they sell. While they aren’t always the cheapest, they make up for it with great specials and the fact that they deliver.

This was an awesome outing for my children. They thoroughly enjoyed them selves at the soft play area for 0-6 years old. Feeding the farm animals was the highlight of there day as well as running around the play areas. We were happy to see a toddler play area as well as numerous play areas for the bigger kids. The jumping castle was also a nice surprise for my 6 year old. As for myself the peace and quiet and tranquility of the place just awesome. The plants, and trees. The walkway through the nursery. The feeling that you in a forest when walking on the walk ways. Absolutely gorgeous.

Absolutely wonderful place, really enjoyed the day out. Loads of wonderful plants in the nursery at reasonable prices. Little shop had great ideas for young children's gifts and farm fresh eggs what a treat. The grandchildren played and ran around for hours on the climbing frames and slides etc. All the animals were a real bonus. Wonderful family place for children.

We had a great outing there yesterday! It was super quiet and the kids had a ball! We sat ourselves in the middle and the big and little kids were able to wonder around in sight of us. It’s beautifully maintained and all the animals are in good health. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful gardens, shade, ample playgrounds. Some interesting farm animals. But i really wish they had more eating and drinking options. There is coffee and some pre-made muffins and cookies and cold drinks. I would stronglysuggest they get a food truck/stand or two on a weekend. Even just some boerewors rolls and pancakes would be a very helpful addition. That would turn it from a place you go once a year when you have planned and packed a picnic to a place you can easily stop by on a weekend because there is already food.

Lovely petting zoo with a range of intersting animals for the kids to enjoy. Wonderful family outing. I recommend taking a picnic with and enjoying while the kids play on the jungle gyms. The entry is a little steep as it is quite small but still a nice outdoors activity.

Really great for a family outing, staff are very friendly and the gardens are gorgeous. Excellent place for a picnic or treat yourself to brunch at the little restaurant. There is an abundance of water features! All the animals are plump and healthy.

Amazing place for families with kids. You can buy food packets to feed the animals, from pigs to geese to goats to Alpacas and sheep, guinea pigs and bunnies. There is a conservation fee upon entering and the food is good too.
