The food and drinks were really good and the service was great, recommend it🤌🤌

I have been to Cappuccino's twice. The first time I went there I had a banana milkshake, which I think is the best banana milkshake I've ever had. The second time we went there as a group of +10 people for my friend's birthday. The staff was amazingly friendly and they helped us prepare the surprise without any fuss. The food was exquisite, the wait was incredibly short knowing we had ordered so much food, the waiters were really helpful and attended to all our needs, and the portions were really good. There was a man, I assume it was the manager, who would clap his hands quite often, and that was a bit distracting 😅 but I do understand it's a code with all the other waiters, although I'd suggest something more subtle. Loved the ice cream too, except the green syrup-like liquid, which I think was mint, I was so full I could not even finish it.

Marvelous portion sizes, quite impressive. Prepared in a very tasty manner. The ambience is high-end café, with booth seating on offer as well. There is a good selection on offer on the menu, with something available for all tastes. Service is really good, not lacking in any way. The only serious complaint I have is the pricing of the items on offer. Compared to other comparable restaurants it is really rather exorbitant. Other than that it was a good experience, but as far as budget is concerned it is definitely a major deterrent and I am really not sure if I would call again.

The resteaurant is not bad however if you do not like being cold stay away from the eating section with alot of windows. The view is very nice. Another good thing about them is that there are gas heaters in the colder sections of the restaurant so somehow they also try to accommodate you. The food is very good...had a chicken snitzel for a starter....couldn't finish the meal because their portion sizes are huge. So believe me when I say you get what you paid for. Either than that I will visit the restaurant in summer...never in winter.

Beautiful setting inside of Menlyn Shopping Centre. The service was okay but not good as our drinks order got mixed up and after the meal another order was forgotton. We ordered 3 dishes, one South African breakfast (5/5), Avo and Bacon burger (5/5), Avo toasted sandwich (3/5). Avo sandwich was completely cold (even the chips).

Beautiful decor with a stunning view! Our waiter was friendly and efficient. The food was great but my desert was disappointing. The "Bar-one" sauce looked and tasted like cheap chocolate sauce out of a bottle. The icecream was watery not creamy and the Oreo biscuit was hard and placed without any effort ontop of the icecream

Inside Menlyn Mall on the top floor at the food court. Lovely views, friendly staff and deliciously sinful food. Caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Menu has variety such as pizza, pasta, grills and seafood. Would not reccomend if you have young kids ie no playground etc..

They have done better then most of the restaurant's during the COVID-19, installed transparent dividers between the seats, very creative. The food is great as usual and service nothing to complain about, above all, thier seating is the most comfortable in Menlyn, beautiful sofas and gorgeous views, there is nothing better

For years this has been our favourite coffee date spot ! My wife and I stopped by today and had coffee , carrot cake . The round booth that we are sitting in looks like crap .. cushions worn through , table looks like it’s a run down old table , chipped and worn out the coffee is cold and the carrot cake , dry, old and disappointing . Why do we tolerate such poor quality ? I notice the prices are up and the place run down Sad for sure .. will I come back .. I doubt it

I always enjoy their cocktail and the waiters and waitresses are the best. Oh their pork ribs are to die for.

Its a chilled nice spot would definitely go there again the pizza we eat was amazing thank you for the great service.

My friends and I went here for brunch recently. 3 of us ordered the Cappuccino breakfast and one the CBC burger. I didn’t particularly enjoy the creamy mushrooms or the boerewors (which tasted very dry). My friend was okay with her burger. Overall, the food was just average. The reason for my low rating is actually the service. The waiter was SO slow, messed up our orders, took forever to bring our drinks and made inappropriate comments just before we left. It was really disappointing. The restaurant seems like a nice though and I’d be keen to go back to try their pizzas.

I wanna start with the positives first before I drag out my bag of complaints. I love Cappuccinos. I love its versatility and its ambience. I love that it can be a place where a family can have some lunch, a business person can conduct a meeting and lovebirds can romance one another. It can get rowdy sometimes like you are in a bar during a soccer match or super tranquil like a walk in the park. And the menu is full of variety which works wonders for the picky eaters plus it's super Instagramable (I'm talking to you social media Influencers). And it's affordbale. The service is always on point with the manager on duty occasionally doing the rounds to see if everyone is satisfied.<br/><br/>I was left a bit dissatisfied when I went on my usual self care date night. The service and vibe was as usual on point but my meal wasn't. I ordered a sangira( apparently they only have the red one. I wanted white to go with the chicken I ordered) and it wasn't great. It was basically spiced juice with diced apples. No citrus,berries or tropical fruits in sight. For my meal, I ordered a Chicken Supremo which is basically chicken breasts with some peppadew, feta ,pasta and a sweet creamy sauce. The chicken was a bit chewy than tender.<br/>I was disappointed on this trip but my waiter really made it a bit bearable. I'm hoping to come back next time to a better sangira and pasta dish.<br/><br/>FYI They have specials on Mondays on all pasta and pizza dishes. Real value for money.<br/>

Another good working day at Cappucinos. It was early enough to enjoy breakfast (Steak Stack - huge portion!!). The waitress ensured we have enough coffee (cappuccino, latte, red cappucino). A while later, we ordered lunch (oven roasted lamb chips - excellent!). Finished off with malva pudding. All around good.

Delicious pasta accompanied by somewhat high prices. The experience is underwhelming. Service was acceptable. Can improve in general. In short, very average restaurant - nothing too exciting or unique. Plus point for that stunning view!

Really tasteless, cold and bland barbeque chicken pizza. So expensive for very low quality. View was only nice thing. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

That Balsamic Beef Pizza though ..... perfect. Everything about it was perfect, had to say this first.<br/><br/>I also enjoyed the rum & raisin milkshake I had recently.... I liked that it was not too sweet and not too strong in flavour but a great balance of everything.<br/><br/>I really enjoyed my time here, the service was good. The atmosphere is relaxed, chilled. It is really a nice place to come to after a long day of shopping for a quick coffee or a nice meal.<br/><br/>

My partner @keamogetswe_x and I went here to have our anniversary dinner, the food and wine were just great 👌 nice atmosphere and the waiter was prompt. Definitely looking to make a return shortly.

For a moment i felt like i wasn’t in the mall at all. There’s a beautiful view to look at while you enjoy your food. The service I received was great, the staff was lovely and the food did not take time to be prepared. Amazing food, amazing drinks and it’s a great spot to chill and have a great time.

Worst experience. Chicken, bacon & avo dish was not made as ordered. The Saucy Burger was a limp portion called a hamburger. Will never visit again.

Luv to visit Cuppuccinos. Usually going to Woodlands, but visit Menlyn today for a light meal. <br/>The food was well below standard. I ordered a ham and cheese quiche. On arrival, the quiche was cold and not tasting very good. Chips was warm but raw inside. They couldn't prepare us a pizza as required. Need to ordered a Margarita and add the required ingredients. Cost a fortune. <br/>Service was ok.<br/><br/>Not a pleasant experience. Won't go there again. Please Woodlands don't let us down.

Popped in for a quick breakfast to be impressed by the beautiful decorative plants; left quite disappointed with an incredibly average (if not below) breakfast.<br/><br/>I had the Cuppa Benedict, promising fried polenta with bacon, a soft gooey egg and a hollondaise sauce. It arrived with soggy polenta, overdone eggs and about a cup too much sauce. My boyfriend ordered a stock standard breakfast that wasn't too bad, but unfortunately had some rock hard toast.<br/><br/>The restaurant has some novel takes on favourites but will have to improve the execution for me to consider coming back.<br/>

The Swiss Burger at Cappuccinos Menlyn Mall. What an absolute delight on the palate. The aesthetic appeal of the burger is just tantalising. It sure met my expectations and beyond. In actual, I've had it twice on consecutive occasions. I am now suffering from withdrawal symptoms from the burger. Great people, great vibe and great food.

Great restaurant...had the chicken gratenati. Chicken breast, topped with mozzarella, spinach and feta. Chicken cooked to perfection, soft and moist. I selected the roast veg as a side. Well prepared, not bland or over spiced, just right. To top it all, the food was presented in such a way that I could not stop myself from finishing the generous portion. Good food, good ambiance and friendly,swift service makes this restaurant a pleasure to be at. Thanks to Roderick for the friendly service

Very inviting setting very good for couples dates, very nice cocktails especially the elderflower gin and tonic (delish!) Menu is decent a tad pricey but worth it if you like good food especially their fried haloumi.

We popped into Cappucinos while walking around Menlyn looking for a place to eat. It was their Monday Pizza special. For drinks we ordered a WaterMelon Mojito, the pink drink below. It tasted better than many mojitos I have tasted. My partner had a pina Colada that had ice cream(Yummeh). We Ordered the Marinara Pizza and the bacon and Avo Pizza. These pizza's took forever to arrive, reason being that it was a Monday everybody was ordering pizza's. The service is not the best at this establishment. For Take Away Dessert, we ordered the Red Velvet Cheesecake, now this cake deserves a 5 out of 5 rating. It wasn't too sweet and it was fresh. Back to the Pizza! They were generous with the Bacon 😍

So my best friend and I stopped by for a late lunch. It wasn't really my first choice but she kinda obsessed with their Chicken, avo and bacon wrap. I had a Grilled Chicken and corn salad, it was freshly prepared and served in a large bowl and I had a glass of the John B Semi sweet wine. There isn't much on the menu, but the pricing is really affordable. Our waiter Kelvin was really amazing and helpful. Our table didn't have the best view (I'm obsessed with views and outside seatings) It got a little crowded and bit loud, but I think it was because it was the first Saturday of the month. Definitely going to eat here again

Popped in a for very quick bite with the kids as we were running to catch a movie. Service was good and so was the food as well. Literally walked in and out but I can recommend the pizzas. Very tasty and a thin base which is what I like. The pasta was okay could do with a bit more seasoning but nevertheless in my hurried state nothing bad I can say about the place. Nice views over Menlyn although I do think they are in need of an upgrade.

Everyone always wants to go to Cappuccinos for breakfast or lunch, and I could never understand why?? I always thought it was a dead average place that had a very uninteresting menu.<br/><br/>Boy was i WRONG! Having been there now I completely understand why!!! Their food was outstanding! <br/><br/>I OFTEN order Alfredo as it is one of my utmost favourite dishes! And I'm often left disappointed! Sometimes the sauce is too overpowering, and other times there are barely any mushrooms/ ham in it. It's always a portion problem and Cappuccinos got it just right! The Linguine Pasta Alfredo had the perfect balance of ham, mushrooms, Parmesan & cream in it! It was thick and creamy and the flavor was out of the world! :)<br/><br/>#happiness

Been doing the Monday pizza special for a while now and the service has been great! Ice cold beer glasses and they're quick to bring your food order. You'll be treated to some city light scenery in the evening as well.<br/><br/>Very impressed and staff is also friendly.

Good food, nice selections, well prepared and generous servings, service is good...they are a reliable and safe choice: what you see is what you get... They maintain a good standard and also have a decent smoking area on offer.

I just love the fact that you can enjoy a great meal with a great view chucked in there for good measure. Cappuccinos Menlyn is like a well oiled machine. Service is top notch and their cuisine is right up there. Friendly staff catering to your every whim makes this an experience of comfort and safe dining. I'm big on breakfasts and enjoyed their Frittata a lot. Well done guys, you are one of my favorites!

Cappuccinos in Menlyn has a really nice spot. The view at night is pretty. <br/><br/>They have a pizza special on Monday evenings. And not to mention the hollondaise sauce, which had an overpowering taste of VINEGAR.<br/><br/>And what the hell was next to the benedict?? Salad?? Well apparently a few slices of carrot and red onion subsitute for a salad!<br/><br/>And when asked the waiter to call the manager, I was informed that the manager is in the toilet. 20 minutes later, still no show of the manager, decided to just pay my bill and leave.<br/><br/>Never ever again!!!! Wont put my foot here again!

Staff is very friendly as always. Food was delicious and service pretty good as well! Even with the construction at Menlyn it's a very chill atmosphere at Cappuccinos and we'll be coming back again and again!

Popped in for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon, this side of the mall is much less crowded and the restaurant offered some peace and quiet in a otherwise buzzing mall. I had the burrito wrap with chicken strips, creme-fraiche, avo, salsa and cheddar and my boyfriend had the Swiss burger with mushroom sauce, bacon and cheese. Great service from friendly staff.

I love his cappuccinos, one of the few restaurants I would willingly visit repeatedly. <br/><br/>It has a great outside feel on the corner of the mall with with a nice view. <br/><br/>All the food we have had here has been great, but my favourite that I always return for is the chicken al forno - chicken breasts topped with avo and feta and oven baked with mozzarella. Had a casual lunch with a friend at Cappuccinos in Menlyn. We had a very friendly and efficient waiter. The food prices were reasonable, but to my experience quite average. We were seated at the open area- this area is great- it almost feels like somewhere in France! It has big windows overlooking Pretoria. There are also plants draped around the pillars and roof. I would recommend going to this restaurant for sundowners.

Went for pizza last night with my friend, we had the vegetarian pizza, with extra feta and avo. Pizza was good, toppings was good a amount, especially the avo, they are not stinchy at all. <br/><br/>The waiter was a bit slow, but another waiter checked on us regulary and the manager on duty was very friendly and checked in a few times. <br/><br/>Enjoyed the food and cocktails.<br/>

As you get to the entrance there is someone ready to help you to your seat. That's a big plus to me.<br/><br/>The waiters were very efficient , checking on us every now and then. I really felt welcomed as they joked around with my niece. It's hard to find a up market (ish) restaurant that enjoys kids.<br/><br/>The food portion was great and the price was not too bad. I would go there again

The ordinary cafe where you get a whole variety of food for different tastes. Enjoyed their pizza and crumb mushrooms. The wait staff needs a little more training as they gave my friend the wrong type of pasta despite asking if he could change the pasta and the waiter said yes.

Well managed. Smoking section is well ventilated and aircon is good. Ravioli gorganzolla was very very tasty, cocktails are indeed a refreshing choice. Good choice indeed.

Good chain of restaurants, and Menlyn's store is always well managed, with good food and great service. Can enjoy almost any meal and it will be good. Always a great vibe and the seats near the windows are the best.

In the heart of menlyn shopping centre is cappuccinos with a romantic vibe at night and a fresh feel during the day. Through huge windows you can gaze at the busy surrounding menlyn area. The menu is diverse with pizzas and calzones to die for. Service is usually great. Never disappointing.

Went for breakfast, ordered the South African breakfast (basically the basic one) and wow, was I impressed. The eggs were done exactly as I requested, and a generous amount of bacon, and large slice of toast. Real value for money

If you love Italian food and pizza, then this restaurant is the ideal place. The food, the view, and the service are all amazing. <br/><br/>For a cosey dinner with your partner, drinks with friends or even lunch with the family, then this is the place to be.

This Cappucicinos has a lovely setting with a deck and lots of pot plants. Perfect to grab a quick lunch or breakfast. I had the franch toast with bacon on rye bread and it was probably one of the nest french toast I have ever tasted. The service was a bit slow, but still very friendly. Of course my cappuccino was also to die for!!

Well i must say last time when I were there I asked out my girlfriend with some planning with the manager and waiters... They played me a song when I asked so and brought a rose for my girlfriend. It shows that they do care about their customers and the food was delicious especially the t-bone...

I love that this restaurant is always open late. I can count on it when everywhere else has shut their doors. The waiters are always friendly - although the head of house hosts could use a few more smiles. Value for money food although I do wish they sold soup :(

I was here recently with my sister for a quick lunch during a very long shopping spree.. and I do mean quick. Our waiter was very friendly and understood that we were in a slight hurry, so he pulled out all the stops. The food was lovely, I had the chicken livers and my sister had a toastie. All in all a good experience.

I was out and about in the morning when hunger pangs drove me to hunt for breakfast. I gave this the place a try expecting a lot. The host seemed the polite. I had the salmon breakfast. Not quite what I expected, the onions were quite harsh and my poached eggs were not soft as requested. The TriBeCa coffee saved the day.

Went here for the Monday pizza/pasta lunch special - any pizza or pasta for R57. Great deal and this Cappucino's has a fantastic view over the surrounding area. Last time I left them on and it was just too hot.. this time around, better flavors and a great meal! <br/><br/>My lunch buddy had the salmon pasta. I wrote a review of the Grove mall Cappucinos about a week ago and there mentioned the overwhelming lemon sauce that came with a beef ravioli dish. To my disappointment, the salmon pasta meal had the same lemon sauce! Thankfully in a bit more moderation so it wasn't as strong as in the previous meal, but there it was in all of it's lemony glory. Is this the default sauce that all Cappucinos branches use for any pasta dish? Won't be trying the pastas again soon but the pizza was fantastic and a great price. <br/>

I have been here a couple of times but I recently went for a graduation dinner, I love the salmon with homemade bread and the prawns are perfection I also love ordering the mocha because the cups are so pretty. When I went for the dinner the host ordered platters for us I was not aware that they sold platter it was a pleasant surprise as the platters taster very good and the red velvet is is so moist and delicious 💖🍰

I always meet up with a friend at cappuccinos. They have the best vegetarian pizza by far ! Service varies everytime I visit them , they have a few good items on the menu including cocktails. Their pastas and Stromboli is well worth the try ! Always clean and tidy . The elderflower and lemon spritzer is a must try !

I have been here a few times, this restaurant has been around for ages!<br/><br/>The food is served well presented and the hazelnut cappuccino is worth the trip all on its own! The cakes look great and our choc mousse cheesecake was very tasty!<br/><br/>Our downfall(which at most restaurants would ruin it) my chicken cordon bleu was raw in the middle.but the waiter followed by the manageress quickly got a new one and solved the problem. The service and prompt solution saved this experience and we will still return!

I'm a big lover of Italian food and Cappuccino's is a bit underwhelming.<br/><br/>This one in particular is very special because it's got an amazing view of the Pretoria East area, even better when back-lit in the evening. The service is average and so is the food. It's about time they become a little bit more inventive with their menu, it is starting to become a little redundant. <br/><br/>I would recommend their penne chicken pesto (it being one my fave pasta dishes), certain restaurants do it better but it is still edible. And they make one of the best latte's I've had to date.

As a teenager Cappucinos was almost like a part of our family. Whenever we went to Menlyn, whether i was to watch a movie, meet up with friends or just grab something to eat, it would be at Cappuccinos. I recently moved out of the house and decided to take my boyfriend there for dinner on our anniversary. The restaurant still looked pretty much the same, exept for a few changes to the terrace, but the prices of the items on their menu has changed radically! Maybe it's just me, but these days they seem quite expensive. Although, once the food arrived I was absolutely satisfied with it, despite my student budget being killed. The food was very tasty and the portions exeptionally large. The service was commendable and there was a very relaxed atmosphere. If my student budget (or lack thereof) allows it, I'll eat there again soon.

If you are planning on a very long lunch or dinner date, then this is the place for you. Service is friendly, but incredibly slow. We were showed to a table which had not yet been cleared and the waiter did not wipe the table down and there was salt all over the table. The plus side of sitting in the open section is that there is a good view of the east of Pretoria. It's the usual chain restaurant, so one shouldn't expect anything too amazing.
