Delicious food. Famous for their steaks and with good reason they are amazing, the menu serves great dishes to guarantee a good time for all. Impressive dessert selection and freakshakes. Prompt service and fun atmosphere. Entertaining menu with the bull.

Excellent Moo Burger! I thought Roco Mama’s had the best. Now I have to rethink because my tastebuds are still recovering from the BEST burger I’ve had in a long time. Everything about it was great. The presentation, the nifty little half bag it is served in to it isn’t so messy, the branding on the bun. Nothing bad about this burger at all. The roasted veggies were so delicious. Make sure to visit Moo Moo’s. It is well worth it.

We celebrated my sons 9th birthday this past Sunday. The service was amazing, bad weather outside but great service inside😊. Your moo burger , a great choice for anyone, loved your ribs sauce as-well. It was not the overrated rib sauce used. Well done on the great atmosphere and menu. Loved my waiter aswell. I'm so bad with remembering names 💔💔

I love the menu and the atmosphere. I had lunch and dinner here and I have not once been disappointed. The service was good every time and we never waited long for drinks or food. I even had one of my birthday dinners here and it was amazing. They have great coffee and I love the fries. Also the little milk cans that the sauces and coffee come in are simply adorable.

The experience and everything was absolutely great. Had loads of fun and the food was delicious, the burger I had was a bit too raw for my personal taste but delicious none the less. The service was good but would've been great if they weren't in such a hurry to take away empty glasses and plates while leaning over you while you eat 🙃 But would definitely still recommend 😁😁

MooMoo is a great restaurant with excellent food and service. When we went the waiter was nice, attentive, and made sure that we were constantly attended to. The food was to die for and the steak skewers practically melted in my mouth. I will definitely be returning soon and am looking forward to another amazing experience.

Sylvester was an outstanding waitor, he made sure we enjoyed our experience and offered to take us pretty pictures. The cocktails were great and our food was very mouth watering and we will definitely come back.

Moo Moo Menlyn very disappointing! Won’t go back to Menlyn store, would rather recommend Brooklyn store. Ordered a Naked Moo Moo burger with mushroom sauce. There was no garnish on the burger and received mushrooms instead of mushroom sauce. The waiter did not check the food before bringing it to the table... 1/10

Going for a quick bite after shopping? Order the chips quite filling and delicious..meat salad came in 4 minutes..was way too raw for my taste.

Food was very good, and service we received from all waiters and especially Edwin was fantastic! My first time there and will go back for sure.

We went for a quick bite after shopping but did not realise the food would be on our table literally 3 minutes after ordering. That was a bit too soon, it felt like our food wasn’t freshly prepared. My meat in my salad was cold and not cooked to my preference, waaaay too raw.

I have always only had amazing service at Moo Moo. Their food is devine and their service friendly.<br/><br/>Today I had a complaint about their outside chair that damaged a brand new pair of Levi's. The owner and manager immediately jumped into action and they transferred money to my account to replace my jeans.<br/><br/>I'm blown away by their customer relations AND their continuous amazing service

We had a late Sunday family lunch. Andile was our waiter and he was great. He managed to manage all 14 of us. I had the pork ribs which were succulent. The kids loved their cheese burgers. Everyone else had steaks, oxtail and the garden salad which they too loved.

I like this Moo Moo...this one compares favourably to the one in Brooklyn. Waiters are friendly and well trained. This is a Mall restaurant so one can't expect too much...the endless shoppers walking past looking enviously at what you are having for lunch...well that's just part of it I guess. I have tried their breakfast once sofar...quite good. Their Crispy Chicken Munchies is a good midday meal and I like the fact that you can choose your cut of steak,the style in which it is prepared as well as the starch and sauce. Quite a nice place to eat.

The chicken we both had was a bit dry but the rest of the meal was superb. Lovely ambience and service. Will be definitely going back again there.

Such a beautiful place. Decor so simple, yet so stunning. The service is okay as everyone attends to all tables, but our waiter wasn't particularly attentive. The food is okay, I loved the peri peri baby chicken, the coleslaw was very bland and the pina colada terrible.

The waiter was friendly and very attentive. Great ambiance and service. The decor is minimalistic and beautiful, and it's great that one has a choice of whether to sit outside or inside.

We had lunch at Moo Moos. Large & affordable cocktails. Nice, happy vibe with a view of the fountains at Menlyn. We enjoyed the “buy 1 get 1 free” wine special from 16:30-17:30 (everyday special). Steaks were cooked lovely, but could’ve used a bit more seasoning.

Very average. Not my first time. I ordered a pita wrap with beef and coleslaw. On arrival, it was cold and tasted of the Chimi sauce that I specifically asked not to be put on the meat. I assume that they marinate the meat in the sauce beforehand, but then advise customers. Service ok. Wine well chilled (😅). The branch in Brooklyn is much better.

A new addition to the much renovated Menlyn Park Shopping Centre. Offers ‘indoor’ as well as garden type seating options. This seems to be the place to go if you’re a meat lover. Good variety of menu selections available. Settled for the jazzed-up Boerewors Roll, with onion rings and baked potatoes on the side. Impressed with the meal quality.

Well done Moo Moos in Menlyn. It is my and my fiancé's favourite restaurant in Pretoria since they opened. Honestly when we want to have food it is difficult this not to choose you. Even if there are now and then a slip up it is handle with such professionalism. Ace was tonight the manager on duty and it was absolutely a wonderful experience as always. Although i must add that all the managers that have been on duty always are there and give excellent service. Thank you not only for the yummy food but excellent experience each time. Staying true to the original Moo Moo in Brooklyn, the food is absolutely delicious! With a decent variety of meat to choose from and an generous wine list, this is a really great place to come out for a consistently good meal. <br/><br/>And, if you're in a little bit of a hurry, my personal favourite for a quick meal is the Cow Chow!

Had an amazing steak with pepper sauce. The staff are friendly and service was great. I loved sitting outside looking at the fountain and fairy lights.

Made a booking for a table tonight as its date night and obviously I want to pull out all stops - needless to say the reservation was never made on their side. We were directed to a small table , terrible lighting and extremely isolated from the vibe and feel of the place. Although the waiters and other staff were extremely polite ( and I am so greatful for them ) this is enough to ruin date night to the Max. Extremely disappointed . 1/10 guys .

Moo Moo is a great lunch spot . The food is very tasty and the staff always deliver good service. You do wait a bit longer when it’s busy but that’s understandable . Lovely cocktails 🍹

Had a pretty much average experience, good menu but options felt limited. The meat was perfectly cooked and onion rings were amazing but the sauce was rather tasteless to be honest.

Great experience at Moo Moo’s. The outdoor seating is really pretty and relaxing. The service was friendly and helpful. I had a delicious pepper crusted steak with a cheese and jalapeño sauce. I would have enjoyed a bit more of bite in the sauce but the steak was really delicious!

The burger was amazing. They have a wide collection of wine and the wine hour is a catch!! The view is amazing, the view of the mall gives a relaxing feel and the warm sunset adds an amazing feel to the restaurant.

Had Rump Steak which was really good. The side of veggies however was horrible, couldn't even eat them. They had a whole lot of beetroot and butternut which they just boiled... And was still extra crunchy, with no seasoning. Would i go there again? Yes, but I'll probably have salad instead of veggies.

By far one of the best spots in Pretoria to eat steak. Meat is always prepared to perfection and portions are generous. The service is usually very good too and waiters and management are tentative. The cream ale just adds the cherry on top. A good spot for families with kids too as it is located at the Menlyn arena where kids can play to their hearts content.

The service at this place is non existing. Tables are dirty and the waiters not interested in serving customers. Avoid this place at all cost.

Whilst at the new Menlyn for the very first time, there we were (My partner & I) stuck on deciding where we wanted to sit down and eat something. After searching for outlets we came across this one. Upon our entrance we were greeted and directed to an available table, I was already by the decor & service. We then got handed menus and we ordered our drinks as we knew wanted to drink. The service was very quick, good thing for technology (the use to tablets for orders). <br/><br/>We ordered the platter for two <br/>- Very reasonable pricing for the quality and portions. Paging through the menu I was very surprised at the prices, unlike many restaurants that over charge and make small portions this restaurant gives good food for your money. The chicken strips were tender and not dry at all. The beef kebabs cooked as ordered, everything was just too tasty, my partner wouldn't stop raving. It came with a wors, halloumi and shoe string fries. Also comes with three sauces which at other restaurants you'd have to pay extra. <br/><br/>This restaurant really stole my heart and being a foodie, I can safely say I'd be going back soon. I love places with great decor, hygienic, efficient, good ambience and know how to plate up. <br/><br/>Forgot to mention we also ordered wings as we thought the platter will be small as it always is but to our surprise it was really filling. We did not touch the wings and had to have them as a take away.

A very nice surrounding with creative light holders in the restaurant ,but the service was a little slow -they were very busy . <br/>A bit sad as the steak was dry and the waiter didn't tell us that the veggies or chips were extra charge .<br/>

The service was amazing! We ordered our food and not 15 minutes later a steak cooked to perfection was delivered to our table! The food oh my goodness the food was incredible! A piece of steak as thick as a bus that melts in your mouth like butter. The waiter was awesome and all smiles and quick with a joke! Well done, will go back anytime!

Food and service was good. Had a steak in butter basting with roast veggies. I decided against desert and opted for just a cappuccino with cream instead. But the deserts served to the rest of the party looked really appetising.

Fast, friendly and attentive enough without being annoying.<br/><br/>Drinks are served quickly and baristas makes a great latte.<br/><br/>Food was served fast, hot and fresh.<br/><br/>Went for a simple bacon and cheese beef burger with fries. Bloody delicious.<br/><br/>Wife ordered crispy chicken strips and onion rings. Chicken was amazing but onion rings was bit oily and not crispy at all.<br/><br/>Caramel filled spring rolls for dessert.... Yum Yum Yum. Sweetness overload for a real sweet tooth.<br/><br/>Wife's Profiteroles was also delicious@ and slightly lighter and less sweet dessert. The Salted Caramel element was not really standing out for us.

Situated around a fountain in open air clean surrounds. Quirky menu and great service. Being an espresso lover, I went straight for the Café Moo. Brilliant idea and being able to regulate the sweetness of your coffee by playing with it is an unusual touch I really enjoyed. An early breakfast doesn't leave much place for variety, but attention to detail and obvious care in the kitchen jumped out at us and the food arrived much sooner than expected. The decor and location is upmarket and leaves you in an aura you hope your friends will pop past and see you in. The menu is very tempting and the other reason I'll certainly be back, is because of the wine selection. A great steak and a velvety red blend are in my crosshairs so I'm coming back soon. A great experience.

After days of debating with my friends on whether Moo Moo is worth a try, I managed to convince them it is.<br/>We went there on a Thursday night and it was a quiet evening at the restaurant. We received a warm welcome at the door. <br/>I'm really not a burger type of person because I dislike burger buns so when I saw that I could replace it with pita bread, I was overjoyed. I ordered a Beef Burger in Pita Bread with the Jalapeño Cheese Saucy Mix. Yum yum yum. <br/>I ended the evening with a Beer Taster Tray. They didn't have the Krystal Weiss though.<br/><br/>Moo Moo is very affordable. The decor is very young and fresh and the ambience is on par. Service from our waiter was spot on. The managers are very hands on and visible.

The service was just below satisfactory. The food was okay... Ordered my steak medium rare, it was still rare, the food was cold, they "forgot" my jalapeño cheese sauce. <br/><br/>

I went to the restaurant on two separate occasions. The first was when I ordered a T bone steak and the second time was for a salad and a cocktail. Both experiences were very satisfactory. <br/><br/>Really like the fact that you can get a blanket when you feel cold at the restaurant. <br/><br/>The meal was enjoyable and the service was great.

The only thing that I can commend this place for is their service. Everything else was below average, I ordered the pulled pork pita and it was cold all the way through and very poorly made, the lamb chops my significant other ordered were burnt and the milkshakes were watered down. All in all extremely disappointed and won't be returning.

The supervisors ensured that everything was running smoothly. Our waiter was pleasant.<br/><br/>We were not very hungry and opted for light meals. We had the peri peri poached chicken breast with a side salad and the chick consommé pita with fries. The meals were very tasty and portion sizes were generous for a light meal.<br/><br/>I look forward to trying out their very attractive espedatas on my next visit there!

We have visited Moo Moo late afternoon for a drink and a small bite. I definitely love the craft beers they have on tap (enjoyed a cream ale), to eat we had the bobotie springrolls with chutney: delicious! <br/>Atmosphere is very nice close to the water fountains where a lot of people are posing for their best picture😉.

Food was equisite and well priced. Probably the best steak house at this price range.<br/><br/>Ambience could be better, but nothing which dampened my mood at all. <br/><br/>I will definately be back.

The food is great ..we had starter chicken livers which was very delicious and creamy and the full chicken which was also delish. I would just like to have more options for kiddies meals it might not be a kiddies restaurant but having something more for them to choose from besides crispy chicken strips and wors roll would really be nice as some of us bring along kids . Overall we had a great evening out and had a good time at moo-moo and I must say my 2 year old loves the cow sounds at the bathroom lol

I love menlyn's new foodcourt. The outdoor atmosphere, the colourful water feature and the sounds of laughter are very calming, which is needed now that menlyn has doubled in size (as if it was not big enough to begin with.)<br/><br/>One of the benefits of the expansion is the new restaurants that have popped up. Moo Moo is just one of many. But certainly one of the best.<br/><br/>The have an amusing menu, one would mistake it for a child's coloring book. There is a wide selection of tempting deliciousness but i always prefer to eat something that the restaurant labels as 'special'. And my oh my was it ever.<br/><br/>Dry age rib eye on the bone! The juciest stake i have ever stuffed into my very grateful mouth! Sublime!<br/><br/>The only dissapointment was the little crispy chips they put on my plate for some reason. Dont know what they are for. Other than that it was absoulutwly perfect day.<br/><br/>

I decided to try this place - the food was ok. I loved the chicken pita with feta and chimichurri. The service was great and the staff were friendly.<br/><br/>I think the tables with gaps in the wood doesn't work - food is served on a board and if it is saucy it will rum through the gaps in the table and spoil your clothes.

Awesome service and customer care. Great food and meat preparation skill is on point, presentation is good. They have a smoker's section that allows hubby for those hookah lovers. Unisex bathrooms to create a layed back effect (there's a farm sound effect in the loo though, I don't know about that 😓)

The food was great, and the atmosphere was awesome. I really did enjoy the gourmet boerewors roll. I also enjoyed a game of chess on the roof garden near by. However I was shocked to hear the price of said boerewors roll.. But otherwise awesome experience.

First time there and was pleasantly surprised! Received a friendly welcome, service was fast and friendly, food came very quickly and was amazing, absolutely more and better than we expected. Edwin was our @waiter and he was on the ball, there when we needed him and knew not to bother us too much. Will definitely go there again as there are many items on the menu I would still like to try! Thank you for exceeding our expectations!!!

We are Moo Moo fans so we decided to try out Menlyn's! We were pleasantly suprised*<br/><br/>The vibe is great - laughter and chatting! The restaurants openess was a very good idea. We sat inside and at first thought the noise will get to us but we enjoyed it.<br/><br/>The waiter was friendly and he was around the whole time we didn't have to look for him. Food was amazing as always - Chicken livers, Steaks and Creamy Spinach!! And ofcourse a bottle of Robertson Merlot.<br/><br/>Loved every moment spent at Moo Moo. They will be seeing us very often.

We came here for our anniversary. Best choice ever.<br/><br/>The presentation was perfect, the ambience was romantic (we sat outside and watched the sunset) and the sounds of the nearby fountain contributed further to the atmosphere. I have frequented Moo Moo Restaurant in Brooklyn since it opened and can only say good things about it. ------ Menlyn -----well to me a waste of a great restaurant because the potentially great surroundings and ambiance were spoiled by untidy "picnickers" opposite the restaurant and undisciplined children screaming through the fountain, most in their underwear. Frankly there is a time and place for everything and I suspect that school holidays and weekends are best kept aside for undisciplined children and untidy public littering the area with fast food packaging. Not possible to enjoy a meal with good conversation. Servia was great, food wad very good, disappointed they did not have one of the two Kraft beer that I ordered. Back to Brooklyn for me, pity because the new Menlyn is great to visit. The contrast to the restaurants on the lower level where kids are at play is that there is more control. Either parents should control their kids or they should not be allowed to run wild in the fountain.

Friendly and fast service, with a good menu and nice wines. However, I think the kitchen still needs some practice. Both of the chicken dishes we ordered were dry, and the profiteroles were cold and seemed frozen on the inside. Sorry Moo Moo's, we'll try again another time.

Wow! Good service and very good steaks!<br/>The bread for the Hot dogs were a bit old...<br/>My kids had the milkybar milkshakes. That was amazing.<br/>Will go back to see if it will be good again!!!

Food was tasty but a few amateur mistakes spoilt the experience for us: <br/>- super slow service <br/>- grilled haloumi came as fried haloumi and had to be sent back - they were very quick to replace it though. <br/>- one of the pieces if chicken my wife received was undercooked (not good!)<br/>The rest of the experience was however nice.
