The burgers are good and reasonably priced. They have a selection of craft beers as well. The milkshakes are also not to bad. Worth while visiting. It is recommended to make a booking over weekends especially for bigger groups

The burgers here are out of this world. I haven't had a burger this tasty since, well, since forever. The service is great, the lively street vibe makes for a great atmosphere and seating is comfortable. In definitely coming back even if it means a drive all the way to Pretoria.

It was a pleasant experience. My order was correct. The staff was friendly. You can ask for your patty to be medium rare. They have some interesting options that would make your mouth water. The chips was fresh. I enjoyed the meal.

Visited late Saturday afternoon and it was fairly quiet ... no reservation needed. Service was good and the burgers were amazing. Definitely a burger spot in Pretoria not to be missed.

Right on the beach and has s beautiful bar and pool area. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. A wonderful place to relax and recharge.

Probably the best burgers I've had in my life! If you're looking for a burger experience that surpasses regular fast food franchise burgers, then Burger Bistro is the place to go... for a few reasons: > A wide variety of unique burgers. I've had three different burgers - biltong with biltong sauce, bacon and peanut butter, and camembert and fig preserve - each had its own distinct combination of flavors and tastes. > The size of the burgers. They are quite massive, roughly the size of a melon. One burger will definitely prove to be enough for anyone. If not, there's the chips, great ones too, that come with the burger to finish the job. > Surprisingly good value. For such high quality burgers, the fact that almost all the burgers are under R100 is quite comforting. > Crazy milkshake flavors. While there are the usual classics like chocolate and strawberry, they also offer insane flavors like avo, tiramisu, rose, and gingerbread. Absolutely mental! > A good atmosphere. There's an outside table area with umbrellas as well as an inside bit with 20th century retro decor or whatever. Inside, there's also a Pacman arcade machine. If that's not convincing enough to eat there, a takeaway option is provided. In summary, the best gourmet burger restaurant I've ever been to, and trust me, I've been to well over three in my life. Solid C+.

We love the Burger Bistro's, meals where perfect drinks where cold but, BUT Montana's Bistro is one up on you 😉

Burger Bistro is a wonderful little place where nostalgia and taste come to meet you! This little joint has a delicious menu packed with some of the wackiest and gourmet burgers to walk the face of Hazelwood. From the most default to Marilyn Monroe, this place has it. The thing I love about this place, is that you exit the modern-day for just a while and look around to find a trendy, yet timeless space stuck in the oldies. Their choice of menu and decor is simple but also authentic. When I head out for a good time, I always love it when a restaurant or take out joint splurge a little to make your experience unique, and this place does it. Their menu is set on a vinyl cover that you can fold open... this is so cool to me! Then, of course, there are the milkshakes, these milkshakes go from boring (their own words} to awesome and adventurous, I had the avocado milkshake and man was that a taste experience, creamy galore and I love avocado so that's excellent. Also, try their sides, they have some excellent wings and we also had some fries, these are delicious and crunchy. Everything at this joint packs a punch. This place is a taste experience that delivers, do yourself a favour and see for yourself.

Not too impressed with their milkshake, quite simple to be honest. However, like their name suggests, their burgers are one of a kind! Super big, juicy and tasty. Most of all the environmental was relaxing and the service was good too!

Good range of burgers with plenty of options to choose from. Excellent milkshakes. Friendly staff. Very cool aesthetic and decorating. Relaxed vibe and good music. Have been on multiple occasions and have not had a bad experience yet. Plus, Hazelwood is a very trendy area for people who love food. Ideal for chilled out dates.

Great food, reasonable prices! but to be honest, the buns are too thick. for eating in: great atmosphere (both indoor and outdoor settings), craft beer, awesome milkshakes! for takeaway: Still great, but the milkshakes tend to be less great :/ Still love it though!

Proper burger place. Craft beer menu, decent cocktails and wines available and a variety of burgers being served with hand cut chips. If you are not into burgers don't bother. Cheers burger simplistic yet flavourful, friendly service. Limited parking however.

They have great burgers that are value for money. Also great for cocktails in a Friday night or Saturday lunch with the family. Has a cool vibe and friendly staff. A great addition to the Village. Be sure to try their Nacho's sometime.

Lovely place with a very enjoyable atmosphere. Decorated with a proper vintage feel, old movie posters and comic covers on the walls Food was excellent, the best fries I've had in an extremely long time. Burgers are amazing, and not that expensive considering the quality All in all a massively pleasant experience, ons I would recommend to anyone and which I am going to repeat in a very short time!!

I have loved this place since they first opened! They offer an authentic chilled out vibe with a dash of old school. I always find myself moving to their awesome playlist which is just loud enough to hear, but soft enough to get lost in conversation too. The service is always tops, and I have never been served without a smile. They will take care of you every moment you are there, and you won't find yourself without service. Everything is very well cleaned and kept, including the bathrooms. As for the menu, that is an experience on its own! I am happy to see they have brought their traditional record cover menus back. All their burgers are expertly made and creatively named. And if you are vegetarian, just ask for the "Ghandi Burger", your mouth will be begging for more, long after your stomach as packed its full. If you are looking for a real and unique burger experience, this is the place to visit... again and again!

I have had Burger Bistro every friday for the last 2 years almost. And this has been my best experience. The burger was beyond fantastic, the patty was really soft and the sauce was divine and the smell of the burger was intoxicating. The chips where crispy, not greasy and perfectly seasoned. The milkshake was amazing. The service was perfect, the waiter even brought us water after we were finished without us even having to ask!!! By far the best experience at any of the bistros I've been to (and I've had a lot.) Definitely recommend this place especially to tuks students.

The service from the waiter Lucky extremely unprofessional. And the manager Lawrence Moyo was of little assistance. Asked for water more than seven times only to be denied and be asked by the waiter Lucky if we were going to pay! So unprofessional and disrespectful. Totally disappointed

Cool spot but Roccomommas, even Spur, does a better burger. BGR in Rosebank are still the best burgers around.

Spent my birthday there in the evening. Chilled vibes and awesome company. Service and general things were on point. The menu of the burgers is just insanely great let alone the quality and fulfillment of the actual burgers. Perfect place to chill out with some mates �

George was an excellent waiter that got us out of the rain and made sure everyone got what they had ordered, even though it was a large group.

Was simply awesome! Can really recommend this place!

Took my lapdog with for a late lunch. He literally sits on my lap. Was asked to leave the restaurant because of him. Not even allowed to sit outside with a lapdog over this long weekend, while people are getting very drunk outside.

Great beer, great burgers! Wide variety of craft beers and a very intriguing menu. If you're up for a challenge, definitely try out the Mike Tyson.
