I do want to say the table felt a little bit small with 4 people having pizzas, but we managed.

The vegetarian options at this place are very good. Ordered an eggplant pizza (slightly above average price for a pizza) and really enjoyed it. The overall vibe of the place is very mellow, with excellent lighting to take really good pictures. The service was impeccable. Overall 10/10 would recommend to come here.

The hospitality here is unmatched. The manager Milena Apostolopoulos is amazingly on the ball with all the happenings of the restaurant and the restaurant industry. She will have time for you even if its month end and the restaurant is spinning.
The treatment you get here is warm and authentic. The staff are willing to accommodate any of your needs no matter how sacrilegious you are to the Italian cuisine.
They have passionate staff like , Alessio whom encourages you to understand the food and the culture behind the food.
The prices are also very accomdating, especially for the experience and flavour you receive.
The overall experience will leave you very satisfied.
I would like to thank the manager again for having us on such busy night and for address all the earlier difficulties we had. We truly appreciate you for making our weekend.

The food is absolutely fantastic here. It's the closest to Italy you will get. The vibe is also great and the entire road is filled with places to visit. Service was excellent and food prices very reasonable for ultra premium quality. An absolute must visit!

Some of the most authentic Italian cuisine in Pretoria, portions aren't the biggest, but then again the prices are very reasonable to. The pasta itself is the best I've had in many moons, and the dishes in general seem to be perfectly ratio'ed. I never thought just a bowl of pasta, olive oil and pesto could be that tasty!
Today i had the prawn tagliatelle dish with a hint of chilli, phenomenal! Great service to, decor etc could do with some sprucing up (the tables and chairs are "meh") but the food makes up for it in spades. Well worth a visit

Had the most amazing dinner experience last night! The men had the T-bone and was absolutely blown away by the cut, cooking and flavor. We had the (g)in thing and loved the combinations our excellent waiter recommend. All round a 5 star experience.

Decided to try this place for my moms birthday after a few people told me they are good. Service was shocking. Got given menus and after waited almost 30 minutes for waiter to return and place order. This even after having asked another employee after 15 minutes to call him. Same process then took place When wanting to order dessert. My moms panna cotta was a shocker. It states on menu that it comes with a strawberry reduction. They then bought it out with chocolate sauce. We said where is the strawberry and they said oh sorry normally waiter gives a choice of the two. They took it back and bought another one with what is definutely not strawberries. Still nor sure what it was but looks like prunes. Well after no apologies or explanation on what it is we just returned it. Gave two stars cause pizza was good. However wont return or recomend to others.

Alfie's no longer offers breakfast, which is a shame; but to overhear the manager on his way to us, tell his staff "let me just tell these customers to go away" and then to proceed to talk down to us and instruct us to wait for 10am is exceptionally rude. I'm sure your food deserves many more stars but your service is terrible.

Nice vibe, like all the other restaurants in the area, spoiled for choice. Smoking which is allowed around the entrance is extremely annoying when trying to enjoy food. Foods quite good, service very good.
