I really loved this place, the food was so tasty, beautiful setting and the waitress assisting me was able guide me (menu wise) to what I felt like eating. I enjoyed my visit and will still come back

Beautiful place, nice selection of food. Loved my poached eggs on a banana bread, clever dish indeed. A bit pricey though. Service is excellent, loved our waiter Moses.

Went here for my birthday. The restaurant is a quiet, classy restaurant and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. I had the pork belly. I didn't even need a knife, that's how soft it was. One of the best places to eat for sure.

Great food, great atmosphere and best place to meet good friends for breakfast. Had an awesome morning and were surprised at the quality of the food.

Cafe Beyritz offers a gourmet menu that delivers. Excellent wine selection to match your meal. This is a great location with inside and outside seating on the mall plaza. Ample parking. Book for Sunday's!

The food and service was absolutely amazing and so different. A must do in Pretoria!

The definitive Eggs Benedict. Anywhere. Look, even my coffee is extremely happy. Beyritz is according to me, the absolute best culinary delight in Pretoria. Perfectly located for a quick meeting. With a warning. You will stay longer to eat something.

Couldn't be happier with our experience. Friendly service and suberb food.
Rob das Neves
Stunning & cozy Cafe / Restaurant with great atmosphere & absolutely yummy food.
Amit Raga
Great service accompanied by tasty dishes. The ambience was romantic and intimate. Definitely would go back despite the pricing.

The butter chicken was sub par to the point that mine that I make at home tastes way better. The tomatoe cucumber onion relish was old tasting as of it was made a few days ago and left in the fridge uncovered. Not the standard I have had in the past at Cafe Beyriyz. Oh and lastly the gin and tonic came in a huge glass with almost 500g of ice, I kid you not.
Cherise Bothma
Was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I order steak and chips. The steak was over cooked and lacked flavor.
Anthea Harms
Stopped for a quick coffee and cake before the show.
Cheesecake was delicious. Carrot cake was more like a Christmas pudding and very sweet.
They received us heartedly but the service wasn't so hot. Received my cake after my coffee was already cooled downed. And it wasn't too busy.
Good value for money.
But we will give it another try soon

New experience for breakfast, especially with flavour combinations. Limited vegetarian option but the Egyptian eggs were lovely. There was no problem with substituting meat items for veg options. Mel had the rose and raspberry granita that was such a beautiful dance of flavours. Lloyd was super fantastic hosting us and getting me all the extras I felt for! Thank you!
Nicholas Halsey
Absolutely incredible meal. Their chicken livers are so great and their breakfast menu has a wide range.
Big compliments to our waiter Walter 😎, who was well trained and provided flawless service. Will be back for his service and the great food.

Totally overrated and crap expensive tasteless food. My wife and I like to enjoy a monthly breakfast date at various restaurants in Gauteng throughout the year. Cafe Bearitz will never see us again. The service is average, with the server/waiter standing close to our table and watching our every move (awkward? we sat outside). The menu is a wonderful descriptions of flavours, but the food is overcooked, bland and burnt. It is like all is cooked on the same hot plate. We received none of the things we asked for. Wimpy food is better .... I think.

I remember when they opened...and it looks like not much has changed since. But despite the decor which could do with a bit of a make-over, the place is great. Only had the milktart this time- dare I say the best milktart I have had this year (being Afrikaans, please know that this is quite a feat)? Service was great!

Sidewalk atmosphere and an upmarket crowd. A great vibe for lunch. Good wine and a cool breeze enhance any meal. Service is good and fast. Although a starter was on the evening menu it was able to be rustled up and an old favourite of mine ,' chicken livers' arrived. 10 out of 10. It was excellent. Just the right amount and just the right amount of flavour. Served with some crispy toasted, and still soft on the inside, bread. We followed that up with a beef burger and a prego burger. Both medium. The prego one was done to perfection and super tasty with a sauce to die for, but the beef burger was so undergone that 80% of it was tartare. A quick look around and you see that all of the partitions are having a good time. Will certainly be back again.

Thanx for a great breakfast!! Had the Babylon and Onassis. Eggs done perfectly, hollandaise was perfect. All ingredients fresh and service was quick and efficient . Keep it up

Very delicious food! Had the lamb curry - so flavorful, tasty ensembles! Everyone in our party of four loved and enjoyed their meals! Would recommend the resturant to anyone! Loved the ambience! Service was excellent and friendly!

Breakfast at Lynnwood Bridge.
Very pleasant and convivial surroundings.
Had good quality cappuccinos.
Had an interesting variation of eggs Benedict- Gorgonzola eggs Benedict
Quite rich but devoured- Eggs were presented perfectly as ordered.
Service was friendly and adequate
Cool spot for business meeting
Kyle
We had a good breakfast at Cafe Beyritz. We had eggs benedict and pawpaw with yougurt and honey. There is a few restaurants to choose from at Lynnwood bridge but Cafe Beyritz is definitely a great option.

Came here a while ago. But what a lovely restaurant, great setup for dates etc. the food is fine dining, and everything on the menu is quite delicious. Tried the steaks which were cooked perfectly, and seasoned well. Also tried the Lamb curry which blew my mind. Also great, friendly and quick service. Definitely worth a try.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Great service and a very friendly and accommodating chef!
I would definitely recommend for a great culinary experience.

While in PTA I went for a business meeting in Lynwood bridge. And after ages of walking around trying to decide where to go, we ended up at Cafe Beyritz.

A very pretty little place with a massive tree in the middle of the restaurant. Almost had a cafe in the middle of the French countryside feel to it.

We were greeted by a very friendly waiter who took our order.
We ordered a lovely glass of white wine and the Meze platter to share.

The platter wasn't bad. It has a combination of cheeses, hummus, looots of chicken, olives, caprese skewers, pita breads and a salad which took up most of the plate. The taste of all the options was good. Probably not worth the price you pay. Particularly when you paying for mostly lettuce and chicken with two sad trips of parma.. bit of a hmmm.

After that we attempted mains. I ordered the Thai noodle salad and my colleague ordered the open faced burger. Now I know this being a cafe, thai is not the obvious choice, an unfair choice to judge on but I really couldn't decide and it was starring at me.

It again wasn't bad tasting. Fresh veggies, chicken was cooked nicely and the noodles were good. I couldn't however get over the MSG that completely covered every inch. Why? Lazy chinese take away. It would have been fine without it. Nothing healthy about that salad.

My colleagues burger was great. Fresh ingredients, the patty was cooked really well. All the flavours married perfectly.

So to be honest, I feel I would need to go back and give it another try. Perhaps try something else besides my disappointing salad. The ambience is lovely and relaxing even with the main road right there. Service was quick and attentive. And the wine was perfect. The meze was simply a meze with mostly salad and the thai salad wasnt great. Next time I'll stick to something simple, like a burger.

What a wonderful restaurant! And an even better meal 👌👌👌 Triple costrini starter was good, but the seared salmon main is what made the experience memorable. Great, probably best I've had in Gauteng ⚡⚡ Worth the money 👌👌
Rayner Nothnagel
What a fantastic little restaurant, I was really so impressed and our waiter was funny. He made jokes with us and just made the whole experience so much better. But the best part of the evening was the food. Very modern and exciting but done to perfection
Jaco
Nice eatery, maybe a bit pricey, but still worth a visit. I enjoyed the service. Limited lunch menu, but the specials are worth a go. My companion's seafood paela was good (even more than good), but at R180, I would expect even more... I had the catch of day , and it was worth the money. I have to go back to make up my mind about whether it is really worth a second, third or fourth visit. Will update.

Had breakfast here this morning. 😍😍 love love love! I was a bit surprised why it would be so packed so early in the morning but after the first bite, I immediately understood. I'd come here every morning if I could.

What a beautiful restaurant. Monday night dinner here was an absolute delight, the service was great. I had the Zanzibar Pork Belly my date having the Ostrich fillet, both meals were delicious.. Just wish they had more variety on their menu i felt it was a bit limited, either than that everything was perfect
Wilmari Bosman
Thank you Cafe Beyritz for my very tasty and healthy cinnamon oats this morning. It was my first time at your beautiful Cafe and I will be visiting soon.

Had a lovely brunch at Beyritz!

Shared the Meze platter which was really good, the chicken is so tender and their hummus is a must!

Their coffee is also excellent! Love their evening menu and specials looke good!

Being from JHB, Cafe Beyritz was a place found by accident and let me say "the BEST accident by far". Excellent service from friendly waiters AND the food, even better than what it read on the menu. Definitely a try if you in the area or even just passing by.
Raoul
I have been here a number of times. Service is always good and the food never disappoints. In a weird way I like the fact that the menu isn't huge. Sometimes you just have too much choice and this menu is great. I can recommend the snoek parcel on the lunch menu
James Marsh
I have been here multiple times, this is a very pleasant cafe, with a great interior and nice vibe to it. Our waiter Lloyed was friendly and fast. I had scrambled eggs with basil pesto, fried tomatoes and a croissant. The eggs were fluffy, and the croissant buttery and flaky. Some of my friends had eggs benedict with nuts and ciabatta, which also looked very appetizing. Breakfast needed some seasoning otherwise very nice.

Really loved the experience of having breakfast at this classy establishment. Our waiter insisted on speaking Afrikaans to us even though it was not his home language. I had a gingerbread latte that was delish and the 'Babel' breakfast which was utterly YUM!!! Will definitely be back!

Ambiance - 5/5
Service - 5/5
Food - 5/5
Food portions - 5/5
Menu options - 2.5/5

Cafe Beyritz is right on the Lynnwood Bridge square and what a bustling square that is, especially at night!

Decor is lovely and quirky. Our waiter Justin was extremely good!!!!! Justin went over and above with his service. We celebrated a birthday and when we asked for a 'sparkler' on the birthday boy's food, they went a step further ... they prepared a plate with writing and 2 small boxes containing 2 chocolates. Also a birthday card. Great touch!

The food was outstanding. Portions were overall generous and food not overpriced.

I had the Meze platter starter for 2 ... well, that was a big plate of food! It had a yum spring roll (which I didn't share with anyone), pita bread triangles, 2 dips, cold meat, skewers with cheese and baby tomato halves, more cheese, a salad with cranberries on top, soft and juice chicken strips covered in basil pesto and black olives. I shared with rest of table.

The calamari starter looked amazing!!! The snails in sauce I thought a bit overpriced at R80.

Mains: Hein had T-bone with a real pepper sauce (not just white sauce with pepper sprinkled in), hand-cut chips (it was quite salty) and a small bowl of salad. He loved it!

The pork belly was soft and juicy with pumpkin mash. The lamb rump steak was served with mash and salad.

Cappuccino's are good!

I looooooove to order starters ... mainly cause I don't eat a lot and also for the variety. I would love Cafe Beyritz to expand a bit on their starter options, cause I found the starters a bit overpriced.

Overall an excellent experience!

We visited this restaurant earlier in 2016 and I was very impressed by the delicious food and good service we received. We were seated outside on a lovely summers afternoon, and there was such a relaxed atmosphere. I order the peanut satay noodles and my mother had the mango salad. Both were absolutely divine! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was fast and friendly, and our server was knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely be back!

I was really impressed with Cafe Beyritz. The food was delicious
I had the Pork Neck special and my boyfriend had the Duck, we both couldn't get over how perfectly cooked the food was... Everything was just amazing.
The decor is great too and waiters were friendly making the service a delight too!

Sunday Morning breakfast!!

This is such a beautiful looking restaurant. The breakfast menu has lots of different options, everything sounding delicious. I had the Hugenot's delight and the poached eggs were perfectly medium. The egg yolks were nice and orange. Just a pitty the potato rosti was not home made. Seemed like the frozen ones out of a box. My Mom and Dad really enjoyed their breakfasts too. My Mom's citrus cured salmon was delicious. Coffee is great too. We came early and had no problem getting a table. After 10am the place was packed. Friendly service although we had to wait about 20 minutes for the bill after asking for it twice.

Cafe Beyritz is an elegant place to have lunch on lazy weekend days. On the restaurant square in the delightful Lynnwood Bridge Centre, with table cloths, white serviets and attentive service (by Lincoln), we had a good time.
Tomato Tart (shared) to start - crispy pastry, sundried tomato & aubergine with basil pesto and creamy melted Emmenthal cheese. Delicious.
After that, Fish dumplings in creamy caper sauce with basmati rice and salad in a mini bowl. The dumplings were trancendetal and unusual and I enjoyed it tremendously.
Meanwhile my husband enjoyed an open beef burger.
Home made ice cream - turkish delight, chocolate & orange and passionfruit were delicious.

Great setting, exceptional service, good value for money. Today I had the fish dumplings for lunch, very good just a little on the small side.

I was looking for a new place to eat breakfast and was attracted by the menu. The service is great and my Traditionalist breakfast had the most delicious bacon and poached eggs.
Tyron Van Rensburg
Another favorite of mine! Have some really great dinner/lunch options on the menu! Have never had a bad meal here, always delivers great tasting food. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere outside is great in summer! Give it a try

We visited Cafe Beyritz at Lynwood Bridge due to very positive reviews on Zomato.

The venue is quite nice between a number of really good restaurants.

Unfortunately the menu is not vegetarian friendly at all, but they are willing to accomodate. The wine list is really good providing a rating.

The food was absolutely stunning. The service was up to standard. 😊. Really hope that they will add more variety to cater for vegetarian/vegan preferences. Also with the dessert.

This “Know what you get” restaurant not only offers excellent food, but has a classy vibe. With the manager that makes every visit a personal experience. You can not go wrong by visiting. How ever are Looking forward to some new menu items.

Interesting interior, the food was very good and the service great. It is definitely some place interesting to go if you feel like having something other than an ordinary steak.

It was my hubby's b-day and we decided to have a breakfast with the family at one of our favourite breakfast places. The food was as always spectacular. The service was excellent- our waiter, Moses, truely went the extra mile to make everything special. I could bring my own cake and they brought it with candles after breakfast.
Thank you Cafe Beyritz for a lovely breakfast!!

Fancy pants but down to earth. This is lovely for a dinner out or a special occasion. The atmosphere is calm and beautiful. You'll be guaranteed a nice stay.

Had a lunch with my best friend and her mom who was visiting from Dubai...thought I'd try the place everyone was talking about and we were so impressed with the selection of food and wine. Love love love
Laura
Great atmosphere. The service was really good. The food was lovely and the portions were generous! The pasta of the day was excellent. I would go back.

Such wonderful service, which can truly make a place. Amazing food. Not a great wine list variety but food makes up for it. Simply delightful.

Even though Cafe Beyritz is situated in a centre - filled with alternatives - I've made a few visits to it and enjoyed a wonderful cup of coffee. But the rest of the menu is also satisfying and boasts an impressive wine collection to boot! Look out for the unique bar-decoration. Worth a visit at any time of the day (as they have different menus depending on the time of service). Recommendation: Confit Duck (French imported confit duck served with butternut and potato mash, spicy green beans and a crème de cassis jus) washed down with one of their fine red wines.
Marinda Nolan
If your looking for a bit more fine to your dining, I'd definitely recommend Cafe Beyritz, they have a delicious menu, wide variety of wines and impeccable service, which makes the dinning experience all the more special! I recommend the pasta of the day, it was amazing, jam packed with flavour and gave stirfry a new meaning👍🏻👍🏻

Just had lunch, sorry wait, just had an explosion of rainbows in my mouth. Myself and Lezanne Janse Van Vuuren were extremely hungry and needed something soft and delicious. The matured steak was exactly what we needed. We do recommend that you add fresh avo on the steak as it adds to the texture 👌🏼

The vibe is also very humbling and calm, the service was exceptional and we did not even wait long, I highly recommend this venue
Thomas Moodie
Great Restaurant with a bit of french flair. Friendly and professional staff and the owners are always around. Ive went here for breakfast, lunch and dinner numerous times and never been let down. They serve the best chicken livers in Pretoria hands down. The Benedict is also quite good. Also try the cape salmon if available Breakfast Dinner

Cafe Beyritz was the venue for a girls' night out tonight. Even though we were a large table (12 people), the food and service was excellent. Food arrived quickly and everyone was happy with their food. I had the Zanzibar Style Pork Belly for mains and the Creme Brulee for dessert. Both were absolutely delicious.
Divine Rakau
I had a girl's date with my mommy dearest here. It's a lovely spot for such an affair, we sat outside overlooking most of the restaurants in the area and basking in the lovely weather. The music was lovely and set a good atmosphere and the service was okay the food is pretty healthy I really enjoyed the menu selection.
Sandra Swart
Food and service was great. Management however was horrible and I will not support them no matter how good the food is. Too bad, if they can keep the quality of food as great as is and new management, I would maybe go again. Dining out isn't just about the food.
Michelle
Really good food and the establishment was packed . Need I say more ? A really good menu with items that you wont find at any other bistros . Service was fast and friendly . Ill definitely go back.
Hlayisani Sambo
A classic setup that caters for a diverse audience. Great menu, great coffee and good service. Their breakfast is great. The decor is welcoming.
Lynn Pretorius
Really good food. I had the duck breast salad and it was truly the best salad I had in my life. The flavors were complimenting and textured. Portions are very generous. Will definitely go back.

Excellent service can be expected , their food is prepared with passion and workmanship. Coffee is good and they serve really good cocktails as well.
David-Hein Schermers
Always great service here! Food is also awesome, make sure to get to the specials, and love the small changes in the menu, something new each time.

Went to breakfast here a few weekends ago. I wasn't at all impressed! Breakfast is supposed to be quick and easy especially for a restaurant to prepare. The restaurant was surprisingly busy. It took a while for me to get my very average Americano coffee, however when it came down to getting my breakfast, almost less than 10 minutes after we ordered it the meal came. Yes, I understand breakfast is an incredibly quick meal to prepare, mostly. But my toast was rubbish, my egg was oily, my bacon was crisp almost to a hard dry biltong piece, and the mushrooms tasted like it came out of a deny can. Very disappointed that I paid so much for a horrible breakfast. With that being said, although they have failed the breakfast test, perhaps they fair better with lunch and/or dinner.
Claire
Love the food here! Went for a birthday breakfast and dad a lovely time. The food was devious - loved the exotic Apple flavoured juices. The decor was cafe like and smart looking. Clean bathrooms and good service.
Jaco Swanepoel
One of my favourites. Offers a different experience with good service. Short but unique menu. Food well prepared. Excellent selection of wines on the wine list. Worth a regular visit.
Marinda
If I ever have the chance to choose a last meal, it will be the Cafe Beyritz duck prosciotto & blue cheese salad. It has to be the best salad in the country! Lovely fatty duck, cranberries, honey-coated pecan nuts, seasonal fruit ... I finish the very last fresh lettuce leaf. It is fresh, fruity and filling. I love the tree in the middle of the restaurant and the old style ambiance. One of my favourite restaurants in Pretoria - no, Gauteng!
