Great food. We were running late and phoned them en route, the kitchen was about to close so we whatsapped our order through. It was a really great experience. Definitely going back.
I had an amazing experience at Fish on the River, a restaurant situated on the banks of the river near Port Shepstone. The atmosphere was great - the restaurant was clean and organised, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The prices were also very reasonable, which is always a plus.

Always love coming here. Such a pity the centre isn't well supported by locals, shops seem to come and go. Yet Fish on the River always remains! My food was fantastic and the service was friendly and fast.
Absolute must visit for the best seafood on the Southcoast. Great atmosphere, great service. Shout out to Errol.
No waiters to take your order, you have to place your order at the bar, which is weird since there are plenty waiters available to bring your food. Payment is upfront. The cashier still asks you to tip and there is a tip jar on the table which I think is cheeky. Food is good and quickly served. Deck
