Review Wiesenhof Coffee Shop - Port Elizabeth

During September 2023, I spent many lonely hours in the coffee shop, while my husband was in hospital having had a triple bypass. The staff are amazing, caring and compassionate in every little way, they noticed me, head in hands, tears pouring while I waited on that morning of surgery, all of them came to me and reassured me that all would be fine, God is in control. Such love, warmth and concern is rare in these days, I would like to thank each one, and in particular Veronique, such a compassionate and loving person when I needed it. God bless each one and all the management, who stood by me. A small mention of service, food etc - always good and served professionally. Always with my heartfelt thanks. I have not found a better place in PE that makes frozen coffee the way they do. Atmosphere not so great as it is situated in the hospital building... it gets a little morbid. Great for grab and go, like I do. Plus U can order ahead.

Hospital restaurant with a heart for those who hurt. Best fishcakes in PE. Coffee in bodem an excellent deal! One typically cannot give a 5 for a hospital atmosphere, but their compassion and kindness towards visitors deserves a 6!

5 star service which includes huge shoulders to cry on. Quick with a word of encouragement and offering of a beverage when ones heart hurts. Thank you to the staff.

Wiesenhof has been my choice to stop for a quick coffee or brunch for an extended time. Whether it be because I am visiting a patient in hospital or I am close by in the area. The service has always been quick and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. The menu offers a decent selection for most diets, and I have found the food prepared to high standards. I would definitely continue to support this business in the future.

I visited the coffee shop for 5 days a week for 4 months with my sister mostly and other family members. The staff are very friendly and caring. The food and cakes are good although a bit pricey. The lemon merengue is the best in town. I nice place to meet over coffee to discuss the patient's progress, support one another and to wait between visiting hours. Thank you Madelane for your compassion and support during the 'down' times.

An amazing team with a good manager, they took well care of us while we were in the hospital with our little girl. PS the omelette is the winner for breakfast.
