The very best Chinese food in South Africa. No exaggeration. My family and i have frequented for over 40 years! Every dish is delicious and made with the freshest ingredients. Verna is the best host and Peter the best Cantonese chef in the world. I wish I still lived in Port Elizabeth so that I could eat here weekly! Cannot recommend enough
This was my first time at The Canton, since their parents ran the restaurant way back when it was still in North End, and it was a delightful experience.
I decided to treat myself to a lunch and booked a table for one. When I got there I was warmely welcomed and seated. I chose to have a set lunch consisting of soup, fried rice, fu yung and sweet n sour pork. It was served hot, fresh and tasty and I will certainly be back again for more food and friendless!
Over the last 35 years we have had the best and freshest meals. Once you try the food you will always go. Back.

Slightly pricey but really good Chinese food. Wonderful service offered as well. Take cash though because there is no card machine.
