Absolutely amazing food. Service was good. Food was done as requested and to perfection. The Creme Brule was lovely and my favorite. They make the loveliest steaks aswell.

A perfect restaurant for fine dining. The staff is friendly, nice atmosphere and excellent service. If you’re a steak lover this restaurant is for you, they have the best steak in town.

We had a superb and relaxed meal today at Hussar’s Grill in Walmer Port Elizabeth . Thank you to our excellent waitress who was en pointe, friendly and with perfect timing. Lovely food all around and beautifully presented. My delicious vegetarian option below, looked and tasted stunning

I received very good service, We did not need to wait for a table. They have complementary snacks on the table as you wait. Food and drinks are amazing - I celebrated my birthday and it was nice.

One of the finest dining experiences I have had. Service and food quality were impeccable. Kudu steaks, Malva pudding and finished with the chocolate Martini. Incredible

Excellent restaurant in every aspect. We were here few years ago and luckily things has stayed the same. Food absolutely delicious, waiters friendly and helpful. Very affordable prices too for a steak. One little small minus - they don't have a baby chair.

Great Tuesday Date Night Special @ Hussar Grill! Was recommended by a friend and truly enjoyed our experience. BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL as it was extremely busy, but the food was worth it! The atmosphere was great being busy. The waiter was extremely proactive and was great food! Must recommend the chicken, the spice and sauce was amazing!

As always the steaks were great. Only down side is we waited a long time, for both service and food. However, I would definitely go back, just not at the end of the month when they are incredibly busy.

Went there for my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious, great ambiance even though it was lunch time on a Monday, and the staff were beyond attentive. I was so I was so spoilt! What a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back!

I really like this chain of restaurants. It's the first time I've been to this one and it excelled. Went to dinner with a colleague and we struggled to find a parking space because the place was packed. We were greeted warmly and despite not having booked there was a positive attitude of we will find you a table. Our ambassador Mandy was delightful. She was clearly under pressure but managed to keep all her tables happy and always with a smile. The steaks were top quality and cooked to perfection and the roasted vegetables a welcome change for me as I don't like the usual creamed spinach you get in a lot of places. Exceptional eating experience in all aspects of fine dining.Residing in a stately home in Walmer, you feel transformed as you enter and are escorted to your table by the host. Renown for their Steak , they do offer a full menu with signature dishes. If fine dining is for you , do not miss an opportunity to indulge.

Been there twice now for their Tuesday Date Night and loved it. Food was top notch, awesome service and has a great old school vibe. Give the compound butter a try with your steak!

Really lovely experience. The food was fantastic, the service was awesome and the wine tasted fantastic.

Complementary snacks were a amazing. I brought my own wine - no corkage. Ordered a rare 300 g sirloin. Big disappointed . It was very thin and medium instead of rare and had to return it . The second time around I had a perfect 3 cm thick sirloin steak cooked to perfection. Overall a very good experience

First time here. We had a lunch and the kudu steak was amazing!!! The waiter had a great sense of humor!!! Will definitely try them for a dinner date sometime!!!

My 1st visit here, The place it's self is very nicely decked out and a very friendly welcome. Our waitress was very good. A great place for a nice meal.

We went to Hussar Grill for a valentines meal last night. I am unimpressed with the food and response from the manager. The starter was ok and the dessert was lovely. However neither my husband nor I enjoyed our main meal. I had ribs would were basted with such a thick sweet jam like basting, I was unable to eat it and my husband had lamb shank which was tough (nowhere near falling off the bone as one would expect) with a very bitter wine sauce which tasted as if the wine had not been cooked long enough. Neither of us ate our meals, when the manager approached to ask if everything was in order we politely explained that the food was not very good. The manager simply replied 'I don't know what to say. Sorry' and walked away. When our waiter cleared our full plates we also informed him we didnt enjoy the meal and he nervously laughed and said ok. This is not what I expected from that caliber of restaurant.

Had the most amazing evening at Hussar Grill Port Elizabeth. We were a large table and not one of us could fault the service , food and atmosphere. Food was top class, brilliant and prepared perfectly , service was outstanding from DJ our waiter who reminded us on what real fine dining service was all about . I have no hesitation in recommending Hussar to anyone else at all and is a real must to experience this fine establishment.

What a romantic venue. Very attentive staff from the minute you step inside. Lovely ambience and food was delicious. A bit of a wait for main meal but well worth it. Definitely recommended.
