I live in Cape Town. And recently I revisited The Rose Garden and was very impressed by the beautiful new premises.
I found it to be welcoming, the service friendly and efficient and the fare good value for money.
It was comforting for me that the menu has retained the firm favorites but they have update it to include new food trends as well.
The Rose Garden is the sort of place that children enjoy and yet is suitable for business meetings as well.
I wholeheartedly recommend a visit so you can experience it for yourself.

A lovely welcoming place with great, friendly service (Siphokazi being a favourite waitron). They also serve the best spicy chicken livers :-)

I just love The Rose Garden. I can go there by myself for lunch and feel good. The staff know me and are so friendly and helpful. Sitting on the veranda, enjoying my meal and a glass of vino surrounded by the attractive flowers is just great!
Hubby and I enjoyed our self's at the Rose Garden today, the food was excellent the service excellent and the surroundings was very peaceful
The Rose Garden has been a favorite of ours for decades, first the old, now the new. It just gets better. We loved the early morning breakfast special. Very good value for money. Andiswa deserves special mention for her friendly and prompt service.

The food was delicious. I love the eggs benedict and was to die for!. They have a variety of options to choose from for breakfast and lunch and drinks. The scenic view is also lovely. It is so nice to walk through the garden and look at the flowers. Great service..delicious food. There is a place for children to also play. Very safe. Would recomend.
Lovely tranquil atmosphere with a jungle gym and grass for kids to play on.
The menu doesn’t have a very big variety and the service was very slow. Waited quite a while for the waiter every time.
But overall an okay experience.
Stunning tranquil gem in PE! Peaceful, classy atmosphere, absolutely perfect for meeting friends and family for lunch or a drink and beautiful nursery! You will be visiting them over and over again!
Today 15th October I was at the rose garden for late breakfast. I have been dining at this very pleasant spot for years and years and years. My point today is to mention the flower garlands the waitrons we’re wearing on their heads and flowers in the gardeners hats. I would like to see this every Sunday and not only on garden day. Happy day to all
The kitchen closes at 15h00 on Sundays, but drinks & cakes are served until 16h00. There's free wifi & plug-points, so it's not a bad option for working. The staff don't hamper you but they are sufficiently attentive.
It smells like an English garden, & they sell a lot of roses, but also a lot of indigenous species. They have a wide variety of Aloes, they also sell Carissa (Natal plum), & a wide variety of other plants. The nursery is incredibly neat & the plants are pristine 👌🏻

Lovely mid day coffee break and catch up spot. Tone of the resturant is very quite with a classical music theme. Was slightly disappointed in the coffee as there is very little skill from the brista and the taste was shocking, however the orange and lemon muffin was great! Love the idea of outdoor sitting area where parents can be watch their kids on a playground.
Lovely atmosphere. It's a good place to take kids, if it's nice weather as there is a play area outside. And you can do tea indoors, if you don't want to be around children. Relaxed atmosphere, and decent menu. The staff are very sweet.
Friendly service, food well prepared, and a nice variety to pick from. Pieced in the medium ranged, on par with similar coffee shops. Very nice setting in the middle of a nursery, therefore very beautiful with indoor / outdoor seating. Portion sizes also suitable for the average person.
I love bringing family to The Rose Garden. My nephews enjoy the play yard and the coffee and food are always great. There is a lovely atmosphere with the beautiful garden.
My first visit to The Rose Garden and I wasn't disappointed. Cozy and homely, with food that leaves you craving for seconds! Add to that attentive and friendly staff and you have a winning formula. I highly recommend this restaurant and I hope to visit it again in the future.

Lovely nursery and restaurant. Menu is more suited for easy breakfast and/or light lunch.
Our waitress was very attentive. The café was clean and uncluttered. A fire was burning in the fireplace... A lovely touch and a cold and drizzly day. We ordered chicken curry (too mild for a, curry), beef goulash soup with delicious, fresh and warm ciabata bread. The babotie was tasty. Food was served promptly.

This is most probably the best eatery we have visited in PE. Service with a smile, a cosy and warm environment and the food is excellent. Will be visiting very often!
