Bought a bag of Transkei blend in a coffee shop in Struisbaai, just because I love the Transkei and its the best coffee Ive ever had! Any shops in Cape Town that stocks the Transkei blend?

Only went to the shop and service was excellent. Norman was so accommodating and helpful as he offered to grind the beans for us as they had run out of the 'ground' version of the one we wanted to take. Thank you 😊
We have been visiting Beaver Creek for the last 15-20 years.... It is busy because it does not cater for the mass market - get used to it or go to the Wimpy in Magate! The coffee at Beaver Creek is superb, the food fantastic and the experience always enjoyable. We'll keep going back...
What an awesome experience. I never knew I know so little about koffee. It was extremely busy and we used the time waiting for a table to explore . The waiter came and fetched my family and I....within 10 minutes and we were served mugs within 2 minutes. We were able to do the tour with Jeff .... and he is such a pleasure to converse with. Absolutely delightfull experience.... and yes this is peak season, but the staff and owners were absolutely service orientated ..... please do not go if you are in a hurry.....take your time and enjoy what is on offer......
Was a fabulous experience. Norman gave us an elaborate insight in the planting, harvesting roasting and brewing of coffee. He also prepared very good espresso and cappuccino. The cup of cappuccino had a "zebra" in it.
What a awesome place out in the open with the best coffee smells all around you. Breakfast was yummy good.

AMAZING COFFEE
I travelled out here with my boyfriend and his family for a simple cup of coffee, it was the best way to start my day! I am impressed.
Great coffee, no surprises there. Standard cafe food, sandwiches and really good quiche and cakes. On the five or pause and look at the view down to the sea, awesome.
Really good coffee. Definitely a must go for all coffee fanatics. My gf doesn't like coffee and she enjoyed this place, (with a few cups of coffee).
What a magnificent place. Absolutely breath taking to be in the middle of the forest tasting different blends of coffee that's made on the es
They take you on a tour explaining every step of the coffee process and enjoy an amazing tasting at the end of the tour.
Coffee liquor yum
Really great coffee with really great service. The only reason I gave 4/5 was because the coffee burger has been discontinued ;) (no seriously, please bring that back. It was possibly the best burger I've had).
Different experience! Lovely ambiance. Bottomless coffee idea is a hit!
Incredibly talented baristas, check out that lion cappucino! The food is good and the coffee is great!! You can grab a bottomless coffee and try out their different blends before purchasing the beans. :)
Just remember, as with most other restaurants, they are busy during peak season, so just take into consideration that you might wait a while for your orders during certain times of the year.
Was treated friendly on arrival. Showed to a wonderfull kids playearea where we had constant contact with the kids. Service was with total efficiency and fast. The portions was generous and as always the coffee was some of the best in the country. Only downfall was that our waitress and the kitchen forgott our rooibos for the baby's bottle. However when showed on this even after our bill was payed we received fast and generous help and service.
I had heard about this place from a barista friend of mine who makes amazing coffee. I knew I had to check it out. While vacationing in Port Edward, the resort I was staying at lost power due to a terrible storm. I had 5% battery left by the time we arrived at Beaver Creek. The staff were kind enough to let me charge my phone there. I already knew it was going to be a good experience based on that. I had their signature flat white and I can honestly say, it is one of the best coffees I have ever had... and I drink a lot of coffee. I also had a toasted cheese, which was also incredible. I definitely will return here on my next trip.
We come here every year.. great coffee and the food and service is good too. Love their little shop where you can purchase coffee, preserves. Needless to say we will be back again and again.
Best coffee on the south coast
Beautiful setting on the plantation
Have been coming here for years and never been disappointed with the quality of the coffee yet, so it's a case of UNTIL NEXT TIME Beaver Creek
The quality assortment of liqueurs, jams, coffees and biscuits sold at this establishment make the trip worthwhile before you even sit down to eat. Their bottomless coffee selection is always a fun way to sample all the different coffee varieties that they stock. I've eaten here multiple times and have had positive experiences every time. The only factor that may dissuade you from visiting Beaver's Creek would be the large crowds and long waiting lines found in the holiday season.
What a wonderful place to go for a light breakfast or lunch, Arnold the manager is just awesome and super attentive😃will definetly go back for the friendly service and great coffee!
This a a real coffee farm and a wonderful coffee shop- it's worth the short drive to find it and the coffee is excellent! There are lots to sample and the food looks great too ( we had already had breakfast) so will definitely go back and have a breakfast or lunch there.
Definitely worth a trip. Dix made the tour very entertaining. Very relaxed atmosphere and a nice place to have a bite to eat and enjoy the varieties of bottomless coffee.

Visited in April. Our guide was charming and had an excellent story telling ability that even kept my 8 year old focused.
The coffee was delicious.
The light meals and dessert that we had at the restaurant were delicious.
My family and I had a fantastic time at Beaver Creek Coffee Estate. The insightful Coffee tour presented by Jeff was very pleasant and so much more than expected with a variety of quality bottomless coffee to sample from of which Ed's full roast blend found the sweet spot on my palate. The blue MTB trail and scenery is great and well worth it. I got the impression that it caters for both the experienced and less experienced MTB rider which is a good balance. Restaurant food is of a good standard and great taste accompanied by friendly and well trained staff. Like the fact that it's a kids friendly environment too, complete with play gym to keep the little ones busy. This definitely has become one of my favorite South Coast places to recommend and visit. Keep up the good work. Jaco van Niekerk, Richardsbay, KZN.
Awesome experience! Loved everything about the coffee tasting. Best chocolate cake!
My husband and I booked the coffee tour! A must do for any coffee enthusiast.
Dyx is not afraid to share his knowledge of planting the coffee and serving it as well.
We got more out of the deal than we bargained for! The barista showed my husband the ropes when it comes to make the perfect cuppachino. He also served baby chinos to the kids which they loved! Much appreciated even more when you know it is a barista champion serving your family.
Family friendly enviroment!
Beaver Creek Coffee Estate is always a good place to pop in to when you're on the South Coast. You can have a bottomless cup of coffee and sample all of their roasts and blends before deciding which to buy. Their menu is simple but sufficient, a nice breakfast selection served until 11am, then toasted sandwiches, tramezinis, salads and baked goods thereafter. We both had toasted sandwiches with chips which were yummy 😋.
There is a small shop/deli where you can purchase preserves, teas, oils etc. They also sell little coffee trees so you can try your hand at growing your own coffee beans.
They offer tours of the coffee farm at certain times and there are numerous mountain bike and hiking trails, of varying distances and levels of difficulty, which start on the farm.
Update: had the bacon, onion and cheese quiche today, it was yummy!
Coffee obviously was fantastic, the food service was a little slow. 😔 The tour with Kyle was brilliant, learnt a lot. The different brews were awesome. Definitely worth doing.
I loved the atmosphere of this place with the most helpful and kind waitress. I would recommend this place for everyone that loves coffee and who wants to experience coffee tours. Totally a place to be added on your bucketlist.
Heyo I Loved being at Beaver Creek. The food was fresh and amazing, the atmosphere is spectacular. The service was excellent 👌.
We also had a short walk, on one of the short trails after lunch. It was amazing and adventurous.
A hidden gem of the South Coast ✨️ Beaver Creek offers an experience I have yet to find elsewhere in KZN. The coffee tour is a unique experience the estate offers whereby you're taken on an insightful tour around the grounds ( pun not intended 🤭) . Very interesting to learn how long it takes and how much goes into making that one cup of coffee that gets you started every morning. From the growing of the beans, to harvesting, to roasting and blending and finally ending up in a cup for you to taste. Personally I love their medium roast , the house favourite I guess. The little shop has outside and inside seating areas. They had a selection of cakes or desserts aside from a cafe style menu. The tour costs R75 and is at 12pm daily. It includes a cup of their signature cappuccino and coffee tasting of a few of their other blends. Well worth the price 👌
Lovely experience and well priced bottomless coffee.
I went on the tour that included a tasting for R75 and it was so interesting and interactive with questions from the tour group.
While I went in the tour the rest of my family enjoyed walking one of the trails.
They are also pet friendly with their own dogs also being around there.
Awesome outing for a windy or rainy day! Great food, amazing coffee. Be sure to go for the 12pm coffee tasting and tour for only R60. I would love to try out the hiking/ mountain bike trails on a sunny day. Be sure to take a car that can handle the dirt roads going into the estate (thicker tyres and good ground clearance).
The coffee is excellent and service always on time the food is never cold and you get what you ordered and payed for. Great view for rainy days. We went to this coffee shop two times and in one day visit the place for cake and breakfast it was just amazing experience. It's pet friendly and there are 4 dogs of the owner himself and one cat name bob really wonderful place.
The place is very nice, the landscape is stunningly beautiful.
The farm is huge and you can go on great hikes through coffee, banana, macadamia plantations and beautiful damns linking to the Clearwater Estate and adjacent gorge.
The shop has a great choice of their own coffee and coffees from other estates across Africa.
The restaurant is OK. Bacon and egg buns are fantastic. The fries are nice but the beef burger is very mediocre. The chicken burger is much nicer. The veggie burger is not very good. Stay away from the chai tea (made from syrup and way too sweet. Stick to the coffee which makes perfect sense.
Really cool - they sell capsules with their own ground coffee for Nespresso machines.
A marvellous gem in the Port Edward area.
It was amazing to learn about this family owned business on the coffee tour, where skillful coffee connoisseur Jeff took us through the whole coffee harvesting process through to tasting. We were spoiled with delightful coffee and intricate latte art.
What an informative experience that's definitely worth the R75 pp. Coffee is available to purchase. Be sure to grab a bag.
Amazing warm, friendly family owned estate with a wonderful atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Enjoy divine cakes, and fantastic coffee. Yumcious! Love this place in nature. Walking and cycling trails and a playground for kids. This is a must visit on the KZN South Coast!
Lovely vibe on this working Coffee-Farm. Did not go on the tour, but did the coffee tasting. Beautiful hand painted mugs, assortment of roasted coffee. Best cheesecake
