Review Tash's Craft Bar - Port Alfred

Amazing Atmosphere, my husband and I loved that they had so many different games you could pick from to play, we played dominoes while waiting for our food as a starter we had the blue cheese escargot it was absolutely fantastic! For mains my husband had the chicken schnitzel with veg, it was scrumptious apart from the chicken being a little dry so next time we will ask for a little more sauce. I had the Bacon and Prawn salad so tasty. The service was so so good we are very impressed and will be reoccurring customers.

Beautiful views all round, service was great and food excellent. Had breakfast and lunch both meals were great. Everything is made from scratch so freshness and flavour is great. I will definitely be back for more.

A very relaxing spot from day to night. Super nice view of the water. Not expensive either,if you're on a budget. (Pitty I didn't take pictures of my food) My partner is still obsessed over that "FOKOF" beer🍺 📌Deffs recommend

Went during the week when it wasn't busy and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Our waitress was kind, prompt and attentive. The surf and turf is an excellent, well rounded meal, the steak was a nice thick cut and the calamari was tender and crispy. The view over the Harbour was enjoyable and pleasant. Overall it Tash's is a good spot, especially for a lazy dog when it isn't busy, with excellent food and a wide selection of cocktails/shooters/wine etc.

Firstly, the scenery is incredible!!! Siting outside with the water next to you, boats passing you, feels like you're in a movie. The views are incredible. When I visited, it was during the Fifa world cup so the atmosphere was really good with all the soccer supporters. The staff was friendly and kind when I switched seats, my waitress was really understanding. I ordered the chicken wings and chocolate mousse cake, it was phenomenal to say the least. So good!!! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience

Great spot and lovely views from the deck of the Kowie River. Inside, nice and comfortable with big screen TVs and leather coaches.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience with the ribs, jalapeño poppers, and spring rolls – they were absolutely delicious. The onion rings were to die for! The cocktails were a delight, although a bit pricey for the serving size. The strangest part was that none of the menus displayed prices; instead, you had to scan a QR code for information, and some items were missing pricing details. It felt a bit odd and potentially confusing for customers. It might be better to either eliminate menus entirely or clearly explain the QR code option to guests upon seating. Despite this, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed our early supper here. We had the nachos pizza (without chicken) and stuffed butternut. Both meals were really good, especially the nachos pizza, which was quite unique. We sat outside under the shaded area and had amazing views of the houses on the water and rowing teams practicing. Really great ambiance around sunset. Our waiter Dean was excellent, friendly, and very attentive. Pricing was also very reasonable.

Honestly it's a very nice place especially for Port Alfred. I won't lie though all the cocktail wasn't as interesting as I would have liked they blended the mint and I felt like I needed to be strained but there was another cocktail that my cousin that the time had that was pretty good. And after waiting about 40 minutes the Food came and I didn't have a chance to actually take a photo because my battery was flat and I was extremely hungry. Definitely something to try if you're in the area and looking for a place in Port Alfred there aren't that many restaurants that would be considered nice but it's definitely more of a sports bar.

Apart from a fixed menu there is also an excellent make your own platter option for sharing. A bit on the pricier side, but with a lovely view of the marina and excellent food! The mussels are a must have

I really liked this place. Our food was delicious, service was good and prices were decent. Did I mention the view? Wow.

So a few friends told me NOT to come here... BUT im glad I checked it out for myself because I had nothing less than a FANTASTIC TIME every time I went there. Food is amazing, and they have beer on tap...what more do you need? If you dont like thin pizzas... dont order their pizza, but I love a crispy slice. Therefore, I love their pizza! Service is also great, keep in mind I go there during the day and during the week. So i can't vouch for the weekend or night. But I'll keep you guys updated

Wow. What a terrible experience. From start to finish. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs. No one welcomed us at the door, we had to seat ourselves. Then waited ages to get a menu. Our food was cold and the waitresses response was ‘I don’t know anything about that’, she was not even apologetic about it. Crap service. Crap staff. And really average food.

Great scenery surrounded by the Kowie river. Great food and vibe, music and staff.

Great place to relax enjoy a Craft Beer on the river. Awesome breakfasts and to top it they have a generator so you don"t miss the sport

Beautiful setting - couches on deck are super comfy, and the cocktails at happy hour were magnificent, the staff attentive and prices reasonable. Definitely recommended

Tash, Wade and I just want to thank you and your team for an amazing night we had for our farewell. The super venue, the scrumptious food, great company and personal touches all contributed to making the evening a great success. I need to make a special mention about the food - it was WOW! Everybody left with their bellys satisfied. Keep up the good work :-)
