The Wharf Street Pub and Grill offers a captivating ambiance with its great-looking decor, featuring large reprints of old historical photos that add a charming touch to the walls. The connection to the surrounding towns' history is evident, seamlessly integrating with the building's overall appeal. The staff is not only friendly but also helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The diverse beer selection, including exceptional craft beer from next door, caters to varied tastes. Exploring the dungeon and tunnels adds an exciting layer to the experience, making The Wharf Street Pub and Grill a remarkable piece of history worth visiting.

This place is a vibe!! Perhaps THE VIBE in Port Alfred. Food is delicious, atmosphere is like no other - and what amazing service and company! If you don't stop over here while you're in town, then you've missed out.

The one and only reason I have not given 5 stars is that smoking is allowed in the bar area which is part of the restaurant. The service, food, gin and craft beer were all exceptional. Definitely our favourite place to go for a meal in Port Edward.

Wow. The burgers are devine. They have 4 craft beers on tap, try one. The staff are fabulous, let them show you the dungeon and tell you about the history of the building.

All the gentlemen in the bar are absolutely incredible, fast and efficient service with a smile everytime without fail. Their vegetarian meals are to die for and specially crafted. The atmosphere is relaxed. All round one of the most affordable places to grab a pint or g&t. If your 18-25 a really good Joll on a Friday night that doesn't break the bank.

I thoroughly enjoyed the visit to this pub in a beautiful streetscape. Not only building and decor were superb but owner and staff were very friendly. I must not forget to complement their Mexican pizza, ribs and craft beer as well. I would highly recommend this place.

Great looking decor, i enjoyed looking at the large reprints of the old historical photos on the walls. There is lots of historical evidence in the surrounding towns, and the building fits in. Staff was friendly and helpful, good selection of beer, including the exceptional craft beer on tap from next door. The pork Belly main course appeared smaller than the 300 gram portion, the crackling was tough as shoe leather. Maybe the other dishes are good?
