The atmosphere here is amazing, walking in feels like you instantly leave your problems at the gate and enjoy nature in the garden. Don't get me started on the food absolutely amazing the steak is great the fries? Yes gimme more also the wings and that sauce absolutely out of this world awesome. I always go for the same drink a berry crusher and it honestly tastes great everytime. The service is also good but sometimes the employees don't take notice when you walk in. A friend has also had the chicken n mayo and they 100% recommend. The death by chocolate is true to it's name!

Such a great place to celebrate a mother turning 50 years old. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic. I love how the garden and restaurant melts together and is very well maintained. Great experience!

Cozy coffee shop and restaurant with excellent food. Peaceful garden outside, sunny and cozy sunroom area inside, perfect for any season. Wonderful people. One of the best coffee shops in South Africa.
This is a little gem in the suburbs of Polokwane. Food is great, service is a bit slow (if you are used to Johannesburg speed) but all round definitely a place I will go to again and again.

I ordered quiche... at other places you get a slice.. not here... you get a whole quiche... the size of a good size side plate...stunning. and ginger beer!!!! Good service. Thanks will surely be back to try the other offerings.
I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food and service is absolutely great, every time. I've made use of Sugar Cube Cafe for several occasions. For year-end functions, meetings, birthday celebrations, breakfast, or lunch, you can count on this place.
Great service and i loved their chicken and mayo splendid was a bit shook when it came with a side cause they didn't say and the both just melted in my mouth definitely coming back to explore more of the menu
Breakfast in the garden was not only filling but very refreshing. Their omelette is one of the best I've had and I experienced exceptional service from the lady who welcomes me..I'll definitely go back sooner

In a class of its own!!! Why are you eating anywhere else? With food as pretty as it is delicious and homemade gingerbeer and ice tea in the tranquil garden or lovely 'sonstoep'. You will love it!
