What an idyllic spot! Right on the sea....friendly service, cold drinks & excellent food! Seafood to die for yummy hamburgers. Just love the greek salad as an optional side!!! Definitely a regular local spot of mine now!!
The Fish is to die for and the view to the sea it's a plus while you are enjoying your meal

Fresh Hake and Calamari, cannot complain and the chips are Fat. Good location and great value don't hesitate just visit you won't regret. It welcomes all and don't be put off by the word club

Great food, great venue and lovely staff.
We travel from Sedgefield just to have the hake and chips and onion rings, best on the garden route and very reasonably priced. The service has always been excellent with one staff member remembering my husband from when he was a member. People must realize the Ski boat club is just that and not a restaurant. If they read the menu they would see that orders take longer due to demand and small kitchen, in which the staff work wonders.

Best Fish in town with super great people with the best view of the beach. Lovely for a early lunch or breakfast too and a early dinner. You wont regret it!!!!

You never make a mistake going to Ski Boat Club. The calamri was excellent and o was the service. The atmoshere was excellent too due to the springboks as you as can see on the pictures. Any time again
Great location to chill and hang out. Food is good, drinks are cheap and service ist great 👍🏼 we had some chicken fingers and some drinks, we spend less than 10$
As a stunning place to relax and enjoy the views. The Hake is normally very good, however today it was very dry as if it was yesterdays fish heated up with an odour. Sometimes you think you are doing a favour to some of the waiters / waitress . If they were more helpful and friendly I am sure they would get more tips. This is not a complaint but an observation.

Easter 2021, we stopped here for breakfast. I chose their fishcakes - it was delicious! Hein ordered the bacon, eggs breakfast and it was yum.
February 2023 - We found the last table that overlooks the sea. A little bit windy but bearable. The seagulls are so fat! Almost the size of chickens! They nestled in the sand or on top of boat sails. I really wanted a slice of toast, some chips and onion rings – wow – portions of chips and rings were huge!!!!!!!!! But so delicious!!!! Hein ordered the full portion of chicken schnitzel with pepper sauce – it was also big portion with chips, but schnitzel was so tender and juicy. Ordered a peanut butter milkshake and black coffee for Hein.
Right next to the café is the NSRI (National Sea Rescue Institute) - we saw the boat with guys charged out into the water. Later I pointed Hein to a small sailboat entering the bay to anchor …. followed by the rescue boat. Me nosey nosey … apparently the little sailboat turned on its side and they couldn’t manage to right it.
Absolutely fantastic spot for any meal!
Must try in Plettenberg bay. Everything is so fresh and soft. We enjoyed the hake and calamari. Portion sizes are huge. We simply had to polish our plates. Heading back home soon and knowing we won't experience seafood like this again soon. Good service and lovely atmosphere on the beach. We will be for sure.

Got here too late for breakfast at 11:20, breakfast ends at 11. Ended up having a toasted bacon egg and cheese and a grilled hake and chips. Both were delicious! Was a nice view and good service. There is a clear distinction between prices as a member and a non member, not sure if that's to try entice you to join 😋 but it's a great spot on a nice day and will definitely come back again.
Great price, big portions. Food is also very well prepared and fresh. They have a small kitchen so dont be in a hurry. Situated directly on the beach it has a fantastic view of the ocean and beach launched fishing charter and tourist boats.
Excellent breakfast. Just had another beautiful lunch. Still continues to be great value for money.

This is a fantastic place & I had a fantastic lunch. Calamari was best that I have had for a long time. View of course was magnificent!! Almost like sitting on the beach ⛱... I will definitely go there again. Thank you.

Prices are great the location is great so if your swimming at central come and have a good drink and a meal when you ain’t swimming !
