Our waiter was absolutely amazing. We got what we ordered. I love the fast service of the waiter and her friendliness. The food was even better it was fresh and warm and it made our first time coming to Chinook spur amazing.By far this is the best spur my family and I have ever gone to.I look foward to coming again .Thank you

I've written a review about this SPUR, not too long ago. Tonight was our third visit in the last month. The food is absolutely amazing, I love nachos and the portion at this particular branch is HUGE and DELICIOUS. Super fresh and they definitely don't skip on salsa, guacamole or cheese.
Service is excellent, cannot fault it.
However.... It was quite busy tonight and our waiter was a lovely young man, and he did really really well keeping us happy at our table.
With several of us opting for doggybags, he did his best to clear the table and get us the necessary boxes. With a demanding table next to us, he certainly had his hands full and I was surprised to see that his fellow waiters would rather be clucking together under the TV than to have a walk through the restaurant to see where they could possibly lend a hand.
As someone who has worked in the industry for many years, this blatant laziness really pissed me off.
Not even a manager bothered to help out, and yes, we saw you standing around too.
I'm not at all impressed with what I witnessed tonight.
The team that worked tonight can do way BETTER.
To management, I have this to say: THE FISH ROTS FROM ITS HEAD....

Took my 91 year old for lunch - we had the Pensioners lunch deal - he had the 150 gm Rump steak and chips and I had the Quarter Chicken and Veg, followed by the Ice Cream dessert - both were delicious, cooked to perfection and there was more than enough food. We are looking forward to our next lunch

Very friendly staff and excellent manager. Service is very good and the food quality was great. Please take note. They are guide dog friendly. We went with our blind friend for dinner and they were absolutely accommodating. I must say, I was impressed, compared to other Spur's... This one is really different... go and see for yourself.

Food and Service okay. The seats are very narrow and dont take a table next to door on the side. When people open it, there is aircon from everywhere, was not nice on that cold evening

Always come here. Easy parking. Food never below Spur standard.<br/>Play area for kids. Always clean tables and bathrooms. Service very good 90% of the time. I recommend this Spur.

I've been going to this spur for a while now since it's closest to my house. The staff are always friendly but their service is usually pretty slow (even when it's not Monday). Standard spur menu, nothing special about the restaurant, but at he same time it's what you come to expect in that price range. <br/><br/>Good value for money though!

Really enjoyed our meal here. Great food and service tonight. Tried the calamari which I never do at spur and was surprised how tender it was considering its frozen. The creamed spinach and butternut was divine. Better than most other spurs!

Chinook Spur has upstairs seating which also leads to an outdoor area under cover. The service is friendly and they sing Happy Birthday in better unison than many Spurs. Our rib burgers were burned, but the magnanimous milkshake was perfect as always.

The best part of this lunch was spending time with my family and nephews. The burgers were delicious and salad fresh! Value for money 2 for 1 Mondays. Love love spur onion rings but my sis and I decided to have a healthy salad.<br/><br/>The service was disappointing as it was very slow. Our waiter did not attend to us or check up after food was brought to the table. <br/><br/>However he did help us with using the points on both my mom and sister's Spur cards. <br/><br/>Which may I add, helped greatly in the cost of the meals for 6 of us.<br/><br/>I'm not sure that I would be back mainly due to the service.

Breakfast wasn't bad, although the order arrived and was incorrect so had to be sent back. The service was very slow and waiter was not attentive. The unreal breakfast was Great value for money however.

(Daai was awesome) my kos kom... plain steak!<br/>Ek vra waars die chedardarmelt? Die ou kyk vir my of ek grieks praat?<br/>Eventually he took my plate and say ill bring it back. Bring it back ice cold!!!<br/>Only a slice of cheese and mushroom sauce on the side with same cold steak.<br/>He didnt evan ask, at the beginning if i want a hot plate or not...<br/>I left it Cuase to complain again who knows what they do to your food.<br/>My microwave by fie huis werk wonders!!!

Disappointing. Burgers were dried out - completely over done. Their prices have become too expensive to be getting poor quality burgers. Just expected more, I guess. Are burgers and steaks not meant to be their speciality? Waitress was friendly and efficient. Premises clean and tidy.

Friendly staff, decent service & your normal good value Spur grub.<br/>Monday's are not the evening to take hungry little ones as the place gets packed and waiting time for a table is about 30 minutes. The queues say a lot about getting your monies worth.<br/>Would go there again but not on a Monday.<br/>

Everything you'd expect from a spur, no surprises, no major disappointments. I would however avoid this spot on a Monday. The half price night draws an insane crowd and you will wait for an hour to get a table.
