I find myself at Cafe Nouveau this morning. This quaint tiny little coffee shop nestled in the nook of the shopping center provides some excellent coffee.
Nice little family run cafe which we happened upon last friday having failed to secure a table at the ever popular magica roma, next door. We tried the char-grilled chicken with avocado, chips and salad. Simply presented, the chips were crispy and the chicken perfectly cooked. Reasonably priced and served with a smile, it is worth a visit if you are in the area and looking for a quick breakfast or lunch.
I've never received service like this. I was blown away by the staff's friendliness, and their willingness to make a plan to make sure their customers are looked after.
Also, the coffee was good and it was a quiet place to work and read.
My wife and I found this little gem tucked away in a corner we never knew existed... and we are glad we did. Coming in, the decor is fun and inviting. The Mediterranean breakfast was great - filling without being stuffed - and the coffee is good. You might find better in Cape Town, but this is definitely worthwhile. For one thing, the decaf tastes like coffee (as opposed to the burnt toast most places serve) so that went down well. All in all a pleasant surprise and definitely on the Return-To list.
Such a cute little spot for a wonderful lunch! Highly recommend chicken mayo sandwich, chicken burger and brie, cranberry and bacon burger. Food is delicious and full of flavour! Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere! Will definitely be coming back :)
We were in Pineland and wanted some coffee and we accidently found this little gem. I was not in the mood for breakfast so i ordered latte and carrot cake. The cake was moist and very delicious. I could safely say that they have the best carrot cake I have ever tasted in Cape Town. Just brilliant. Next visit I will definietly try their breakfast
Lovely little breakie and cute decor. It's my first time being back since the renovations or new ownership. It's was closed last time for one or both of those reasons. Coffee is okay, not sure that is a focus. I am becoming a bit of a snob now that we get epic coffee and barista service around CT. Pop in for a breakfast, you can't go wrong. Wow, just realized I have been eating way too many breakfasts lately. Hey, they are cheaper than dinners... ;)
4 Stars is a pretty generous rating. Many of us had to change our orders because they had no ribs and no fries. In the middle of the week. Definitely won't be going back any time soon.
Nice chilled vibe, with good chilled music.
Great service from the moment you walk in, Imtiyaaz is a star.
Food was good and prices very reasonable. We had the chicken tikka sandwich and chicken wrap, both came with rustic fries.
Will definitely come back for dinner
Cafe Nouveau, one of my favourite places to visit in Pinelands. Super menu, delicious food and quiet intimate space to have a good coffee and chat with a friend. Toasted sandwich and chips my best. Highly recommend it.
Friendly and personal service from the owner the couple on the occasions we have visited. Good atmosphere with soothing music that doesn't say hurry up and go to me.
The menu isn't extensive but enough variety to chose from & the food is delicious and well presented and prepared. I opted not to have chips with my main meal and was offered salad instead that was nice and fresh. I opted for dessert today - delicious apple strudel served with cream - such a generous portion that I only managed to eat half of it.
We will be back 😋
Must admit that we had wanted to visit the "big sister" next door, but when those were closer, cafe nouveau was a good stop gap. The food was prepared with love and fresh ingredients added to the frozen. Possibility to sit outside very welcome on these autumn days.
A lovely little cafe situated at Central square. Pop in for a quick coffee and pastry while waiting for your dog grooming close by or simply sit and relax over breakfast or lunch. There is indoor and outdoor seating in this quaint cafe. There is a variety of homemde/handmade gifts in store too. Parking is free but gets very busy over lunch time. The cafe is wheelchair accessible.
I had a bacon and cheese omelette (R78) and the wife had the light breakfast (R65) and we were both very happy with our meals. Pleasant and attentive staff makes a big difference to some other breakfast spots.
Excellent coffee and a tasty toasted sandwich for my Mom and nice salmon trout salad for me. A relief to be able to choose 'normal bread' for the sandwich and not just sourdough or ciabatta etc. Good service. We will return.
Absolutely delicious and well presented croissant with bacon and cheese and small side salad for lunch today. A 5 star recommendation
Great little gem hidden away in Pinelands. They have the most amazing coffee I’ve had in Cape Town and great value for money with their delicious menu. If you are in the area don’t miss out, and treat yourself to a Hazelnut Cappuccino and a breakfast, perfect way to start the day!
We thoroughly enjoyed our impromptu breakfast. Delicious cuppacinnos and very yummy breaky accompanied by very attentive staff.
A huge thanks to the staff and chef at Noveau Coffee and grill for great food and entertainment with the band. The food was delicious and the service was on point.
Good food, friendly people. Excellent coffee & all reasonable priced. It is my Café of choice, parking is also not a problem.
We found this place by chance and we're pleasantly surprised
