Review Angelo's Pane Vino - Parys

Of all the places I visited in Parys, I'd say this is my favourite. The vintage decor was simply out if this world and the staff so vibrant. Highly recommended for all tourists !!!!!

Lovely place for a leisurely brunch. Hubby had Boepens Plum breakfast and I had a Biltong Tramizini. Waiters were friendly amd helpful and the coffee and the food was excellent!

What an amazingly fun and nostalgic experience! It islike taking a trip back in time, with memorabilia dating back to the 30s and 40s. Outstandingly friendly service and delicious food.

Really great vibe, the food looks delicious although we did not eat any we only had some strawberry juice which was great. On the inde it gives a very old historic feel which is unique, it looks like an old diner inside. The weet shop is breathtaking i did not know what to take and what to leave, the choices are endless. Friendly waiter we had an absolute blast.

Oh wow. A must visit. For a sweet tooth :) I am sure they have other lovely food varieties. But we stopped for Cappucinos and decided to add a sweet cinnamon pancake. Was truly filling and amazing.. just a tad bit much sugar. But so cozy! Nice view outside in the shade

Interesting place with historical decor. Most interesting books from the 1960's illustrating how much things have changed. Nice food and many traditional dishes to choose from if you are curious. A worthwhile spot to have lunch or breakfast.

*Stricts Covid-19 protocol in place* I have been living in Parys since December 2016 and today was my first time at Plum Tree (shame on me😔). Lovely place. My sister said she was there a long while back and they make the best pies. We just had Coca Cola today (work meeting). Our lovely waitress was Getty (Gertrude). I took photo's with permission from the Manager lady. The establishment is popular with locals and visitors alike. There are always patrons there. Always. You can be seated outside and also indoors of course. They have lovely decòr inside. I love antiques. I was fascinated by the atmospheric place. 😍😘😎 Our local professional photographer *Kiki took all the pictures that are framed and hanging there. We had the cheese burger with 100% beef and the chicken burger. Both were huge and most delicious. We had french fry wedges with it and lovely burger sauce and salad. *I highly recommend this beautiful place.* Went to the restroom there and was pleasantly surprised to see all the vintage decor in there. We saw the eons😁 old magazines on the tables and paged through them, marveling at each turn of the page. I really like the waitress. 🤗💖

Lovely little place in Parys. Nice outdoor seating, with a street musician playing violin 🎻. Very friendly waiters. Nice goodies can be bought inside.

My special word of thanks to the outstanding staff of PLUM TREE. I am visiting this wonderful restaurant for many years. Im living in Pretoria and always have breakfast or lunch, while I am visiting Dr Bell. A special word of gratitude to Gertruida . You are a SPECIAL lady! The vibrant atmosphere makes this restaurant absolutely special.

Decor is very nice. Very good service and excellent food. Would come here again and again.

It’s like oumas kombuis. A gazillion pots and preserves and excellent local cuisine.

Our waitress (Tumi) was very friendly and her service was superb. The food was good and the strawberry milkshake delicious.

Hi Lovely place with very old feel. Great food with lots of choices. Service is good, lovely fireplace inside for those cold days. There is a sweet shop inside for kiddies or grown ups. Portions are good and price is reasonable

Amazing, amazing pancakes (crepes) for around 5$ (73 Rand), both savoury and sweet. Amazing interior too. Recommend!

Best pizza in a very long time! I can honestly recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian food! And the service is so fast and friendly!!!

We had an amazing meal here. The food is very reasonably priced compared to some of the other restaurants in town. The staff are so friendly and the food was great! We will definitely be returning!

Went to Parys for work and got take away pizza the first night it was amazing so we came back the second night and had amazing pasta and such friendly owners and staff!! So worth it �

The owner is always around making you feel welcome and at home. His staff are well trained. A must go for authentic pizza.

Pizza to die for!!!

Probably the best pizza we have eaten in years and the capaccio was excellent. However your starter menu is misleading saying "all starters served with/or come with foccacio" and then we were charged for the foccacio on our bill. Please correct that. We will certainly be back and we dont live in Parys.
