Iā€™ve regularly dined at Moksh, and Iā€™m thrilled to give it a perfect score of 5 out of 5. The formal setting, coupled with fantastic food, creates a delightful experience. The menuā€™s versatility caters to all spice preferences, offering a warm feeling with each bite. Prices are reasonable, making it a top choice. Highly recommend!

2nd visit confirms that this is the real deal. We have tried variety of dishes and each is so authentic and made with care. Lovely spot. Weā€™ll be back every time we pass through Paarl.

Very nice food with friendly staff. It is kind of hidden away with a small door as the entrance but maps is correct on its location. They have lots of curries to choose from and the menu is big ! They have a selection of wine šŸ· All portions are quite big as we could not finished everything and had to take away. The curries and food are all very tasty and definitely worth a pop in if you like Indian cuisine!

If you like Indian Curry you should visit Moksh. If you LOVE Indian Curry you MUST visit Moksh! Each of our party ordered a different Curry dish and all were highly satisfied! Staff are visibly proud of their establishment and the dishes they serve. Will visit again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious! We are quite picky when it comes to Indian food, but our meal was really outstanding. Food was spicy and flavourful. I had a paneer tikka masala and it was great, I could taste the smoke and the portion was perfect. My husbandā€™s chicken kolhapuri was spicy and also very very satisfying. 100% recommended!

Yasar Arafat provided us excellent service and food recommendations. What amazing taste sensations! The meat was so tender and the spices so flavoursome!

We had the best meal tonight. Lamb Rogan Josh with palak paneer and garlic Naan. For good service and value for money, visit Moksh in Paarl. The manager Kinjal, apologies if spelt incorrectly, is so friendly and made us feel so at home.

Always amazing food at Moksh! Friendly service and tasty food! They never disappoint. Only thing I can comment on is they need A/C upstairs šŸ˜‰

Sometimes the food is a little hit or miss, but itā€™s never bad. Itā€™s either good, really good or amazing. Prefer Moksh over fancier Indian Food restaurants as the food is more flavourful. Always look forward to my next visit!

The service has been HORRIBLE the last few times we visited. They waiters are understaffed and are not attentive at all. The food is good and we used to enjoy coming here, but unfortunately bad service equates an unsatisfied customer and we will not be returning any time soon.

We visited for the Paarl branch for the first time last night.Ā The initial greeting as a bit disappointing, as we had made a reservation and nobody seemed to know about it when we arrived.Ā They tried seating us at a rickerty table outside, but when we reiterated that we did indeed have a reservation, they took us to our table upstairs.Ā The waiter was great, even though he was serving way too many tables for one person.Ā The service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was full.Ā The food was superb!Ā We enjoyed both the curry and the naan bread.Ā Will definitely go back!

The waiter that served us was not very good at speaking English so it made things rather difficult. The food was good, but very small portion for the price served only with rice (one has to pay extra for other accompaniments), where one would actually expect sambals and poppadums or naan to be served with curry as well. Expensive for what you get, but taste was great.

MoKsh is definitely a haunt for my boyfriend and I. We have been countless times and often leave more impressed than the last time we visited.Ā

Both of us have tried various curries off their menu, but the lamb madras and lamb roghan josh are by far our favourites. The curries taste very authentic and the service is good. We accompany our meals with a starter of samoosa (the vegetable one's are great! - they come out hot and crunchy) and the garlic naan is delicious! All their naan breads are delicious really. I would have the Pagni naan as a dessert, its quite sweet so its ideal for after the meal!Ā

Their wine selection is also good!Ā

Plus, I've never been on a night where Moksh has been empty!

Visited last night! Wow, very nice indeed... we had the chicken korma and the prawn curry. Really good food! The butter naan is to die for. Service is excellent. Good wine list, maybe a bit on the expensive side, otherwise a good selection!!! Will come again....

First time we have been to Moksh. On arrival the staff was friendly and immediately seated us. The menu offers a variety of dishes and should meet everyone's taste. We ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh and Chicken Korma. With a butter naan as well as a garlic and cheese naan. The wait for the food to arrive was a slight disappointment( over an hour ) however the food made up for it. Absolutely delicious. There is nothing in this meal I can fault. I forsure will in future make the effort to find one of the Moksh locations.

Great variety of food offered at any spice level, always tasty. My tasting is a bit lower than it could be due to the fact that it is sometimes a bit warm inside, but outside seating is available.

Moksh is amazing! I have never been dissapointed before. The food is flavourful and delicious, and the friendly staff frequently checks up on you. Truly a gem, I can't wait to bring everyone I know here.

We visited on a week day and were the only people in the restaurant, which unfortunately did not really create a great vibe. The food however was excellent. I had the butter chicken but also tried the rogan josh and both were amazing. We also got some garlic naan bread, which were huge portions. Definitely well worth a visit!

Cape Town was finally covered in dark clouds, wind storm and rain every where so lunch was def warm hearty food. We decided on curry for lunch so of we went to order take away from my fav curry spot. While we waited, we had a nice savanah and pappadums. To be honest... i will not sit down to have dinner at this branch but the food is always a winner. Durbanville Moksh have the best vibe and quickest service and the Plattekloof chefs makes the best version of my veg chickpea curry but all in all... the food will win anyone over.#curry #winter #veg #naanbread #indian #vegcurry #paarl

Seeing as winter has finally decided to descend onto the Western Cape we decided to head to Moksh Indian Restaurant to try their authentic Indian cuisine to warm us up.

I was so pleased with the experience we had! Even though the restaurant was packed from start to finish, they still managed to make us feel extremely welcome and comfortable.

After examining their fully packed menu, we started off with a starter platter for the table that was devine. I had the butter chicken as a main and a side of butter naan bread. The chicken was cooked beautifully and so rich in spices and flavour, like only an authentic Indian meal can be.

The only critic I have is the limited bathrooms. There is only one bathroom for men and women, which can make the wait long when the restaurant is as packed as it was.

Overall this is one of my new favourite Indian restaurants and I will definitely be going again.
I found the food great! I shared the vegetarian platter for two to start. Went onto a lamb Vindaloo- was spicy (obviously) but a perfect gravy. Definitely sit upstairs- service was not the best part of my experience but I will go back.

Really really enjoyed our time at Moksh Paarl. Food was great!! Well presented and very very tasty. The wait for the food to arrive was a bit long, but totally worth the wait. The waiter was fantastic. Remembered exactly who ordered what, and we where a big group. The prices are a bit steep, but not to bad. Will definitely recommend this place to any indian food lovers. Surely you will not be disappointed.

What a lovely experience of genuine Indian cuisine at Moksh in Paarl. We went on a quiet Tuesday afternoon and were seated at the upstairs dining area. We ordered starters of chilli bites and mains of lamb biryani, chicken vindaloo and chicken tikka, and dessert of kulfi. The waiter was really helpful and made an effort to see to all of our needs. Although the wait for food was long, the taste of the food was great. You can choose to have your food mild, medium or hot but be warned, the hot is really hot! There was, however, a lack of ambiance in the restaurant - it would be great if they could play some background music just so that there isn't silence. The meals are not cheap but the portions are decent so this makes it worth it. I'll definitely go back when I visit Paarl again.

Really enjoyed Moksh. Food was great. Possibly some of the best Indian food in Cape Town. Staff were also very helpful. Worth a visit......

Moksh Indian Restaurant in Paarl serves up delicious North Indian dishes in a relaxed and peaceful setting.

There are 2 dining areas to choose from ā€“ one is the cozy restaurant inside and the other is the courtyard outside.

We tried 3 different dishes and they were all very tasty with full, fresh flavours. Our selection was made up of: Paneer Tikka Masala (cottage cheese cooked in a Tandoor oven and turned in tikka gravy), Butter Chicken (Chicken fillet strips cooked in a rich tomato and cashew nut sauce and garnished with fresh cream), Lamb Rogan Josh (all time favourite curry cooked in the chefs special sauce), basmati rice, butter naan and garlic naan... yum!

A solid choice for all your curry cravings. The courtyard is a huge drawing point for Paarlā€™s hot summer evenings. The service is great.
