Name a little misleading- was expecting Backsberg wine and produce? However, the Fair View range is extensive and well priced. Service was friendly and professional and coffee and Eggs Benedict of a high standard. Will definitely go back and recommend the cenue

Back's is our favourite restaurant in Paarl! The food & service is consistently good. It's also ideal for functions - we hosted my mum's 80th birthday party there and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Back's is the place to go when you want to have a good time ! The staff is very friendly, the food is tasteful and the ambience is cozy and chilled.
The fireplace at the back makes a great difference during these cold days .. I love it !

I love this place, such a nice location and relaxed vibe. The chicken burger is the best one I have ever had. I love that they give ocasional complementary cheese tastings. Have also shared many of their cheese and meat platters, it is very nice! I also purchase free range beef from their deli regurary. Very convenient. The staff and manager is also very friendly.
This place has a really nice vibe, excellent interior and attention to detail... The food was amazing, I had the French toast which did not dissapoint. They also had a free cheese tasting while I was there which was a special extra touch. They also had a shop inside which had specialized cheeses from fairview farm, freshly baked breads and cold meats. I will do definitely be back for lunch or dinner next time.

If you are looking for a great spot to grab breakfast in Paarl, then Back's is the place to go. The restaurant has both indoor as well as outdoor seating. We sat inside as it was a chilly morning but for a sunny day, sitting outside under the trees would be nice. Our waitress was very friendly and as it was loadshedding (no power available during certain periods) she advised us to quickly order coffee, but that the food isn't an issue so we could still peruse the menu for a bit. The restaurant has such a relaxing atmosphere and the coffee was delicious. For breakfast I had their full breakfast and my wife went for their eggs benedict, which was presented beautifully in a frying pan which just adds to the style of the restaurant. They also have a shop at the restaurant that sells freshly baked breads and assorted items if you want to take some of what they have to offer home. We had a great time, felt refreshed and ready for the day, and I have heard good things about their other dishes so will definitely be back there for lunch or dinner in the future.
Wonderful atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb coffee. And of course the croissants, being Fairview's, are just the best!!

I always come back here either for bread, a quick lunch or some deli products and even wine from Fairview. It feels trendy and cool and one feels young at heart. Especially nice to have a dinner on a summer evening and sitting outside.
Friendly staff, stunning place with a great relaxing vibe and the food is absolutely to die for!!!! Anything you order will taste great, it is fresh and the quality and creativity blew my away! Back's will see us very soon again!!!

First time experience here.Look,we all know Fairview in our daily lives.It is just awesome to know you can buy their cheeses at a deli in the middle of Paarl.They have bread and wine and gin and chocolates and coffee and Mandela tea etc in this beautiful restaurant!There are so many places to sit with outside places the most popular in summer.It felt like the Champs-Élysées in Paris with live music from a very talented young man.The food took a while but it was worth the wait.The milkshake a piece of art and the triple fried chips gastronomical.Our burgers was beautifully presented.We had a cheese tasting whilst waiting and we thought this a brilliant idea!!We are fans know🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Ended up at Back's as the place we had planned to go was full. What a stroke of luck. The service was wonderful, the food delicious and the bill surprisingly reasonable. The creme brulee is pure perfection! We were treated to a cheese tasting while waiting for our food with the added bonus that we could buy the things we enjoyed at the deli before we headed home. On a cold winter's night, the room was still warm and the music soft enough that we could have a decent conversation. There were only a few vegetarian options and I hope this will improve soon as I would love to bring more friends here.
