Cafe Brule at Queens, a germ indeed. I was in a hurry for a meeting. The staff prepared a great breakfast for me , with eggs, beacon, beans, cheese, etc, in a short time. I was very happy with their responsive staff.
This was definately the best apple pie, it was absolutely baked to perfection.
I would visit oudtshoorn just to experience this cake once again. The management and staff are top notch.
A hidden jewel with tasty food (we had the Brule breakfast and the scone with jam, cream and cheese, as well as a large cup of coffee and a strawberry milkshake) and friendly service.
The two slices of ciabatta toast with the breakfast was a nice surprise and delicious.
Appreciated the balsamic vinegar and olive oil as part of the condiments on the table. Clean white cloth tablecloths completed the picture.
We sat inside although tables on the verandah were available from where the bustling street could be viewed.

This place service amazing coffee and even better cakes. I strongly recommend to enjoy one of their local carrot cakes on their typical karoo stoep!
We had a lovely meal consisting of smoked salmon green lettuce salad capers and poached eggs with a wonderful seasoning and the meal was accompanied by a basket of delicious homemade bread . The wine was the right one for the meal.

I've made this my go to breakfast place. Staff is so friendly and the food is great. The Omelets are huge and so tasty. Would definitely recommend.
For an early breakfast or anytime meal you can come to Cafe Brule and never be disappointed. Sidewalk scene and hotel efficiency, neat, clean and always smiling staff. It's a Karoo Gem.
Just came for a coffee, got seduced by their cake. Had a slice of their chocolate mousse cake and my partner had the lemon meringue. Both were superb. Really good quality food and coffee. Their attention to detail is what gives them the fith star.
Would recommend this place to any body wanting a good coffee and pastry experience.

Fantastic.friendly.effecient service..pricing very good...even the 8 yr old said.if we come here again i will have this again from the menu...very nice place.welcoming atmosphere...enjoyed the stoep so much .sat and just relaxing with friends...welldone...and on ur way out buy n nice freshly baked liaf to take home.💗
